The author writes a very short booklet on putting others first and building up women entrepreneurs, replacing competitiveness with friendship and support. She speaks about her "tribe" a select group of women collaborating to help each other and excluding women who are self serving. Then at the end she directs you to her website, where you can become a part of this select tribe. For a price. Yes, it's a membership site, where you get nothing you can't find for free in various Facebook groups, for the princely sum of $1500. Yeah, seriously. Not at all self serving then, Kendra? Luckily I didn't have to pay for this, if I did, I'd return it. Utter tripe.
I was researching market niche vs a tribe for a blog I'm writing for my audience. So I came acrossKendra’s book. I like it was simple. And as a business coach, I like her honesty had it not been easy. And I love the fact that she said you had to be authentic. Good book straight to the point and much appreciated.
This was a great, quick read that I found very useful. I have been searching for a community of women that share my beliefs and who fosters similar ambitions. I’ve been chewing on creating a group. This was very helpful.
This is a short and effective book for community based marketing and inbound sales with the help of trust, consistent high quality content and community win-win relationships.
