Ion has plans to become a pilot for the United Space Coalition. That is, until he witnesses his sister’s abduction by masked strangers. Ion’s only clue as to where his sister, Livia, has been taken is the strangers’ mention of The Fringe, a shadow government run by criminals at the far reaches of the solar system.
With the Coalition Guard providing no help, Ion takes it upon himself to try and reach The Fringe, stealing a government ship in the process. Now, The Guard isn’t just useless, it’s after him.
While trying to escape arrest, Ion is thrown into the path of Arsen, a man with ties to The Fringe. With his help, Ion will do whatever it takes to rescue his sister – even if that means kidnapping Ilaria Fawcett, the daughter of the most powerful woman in the Coalition.
But everything isn’t as simple as Ion had hoped, and he soon finds out there are bigger things at play than a kidnapping. And even though he’ll go the edge of the solar system, he might already be too late to save his sister.

Cant wait for the next book

After a somewhat slow start to the story I was hooked and the end has left me longing to know what come next. This was a fun read for science fiction readers. I recommend it to fans of the genre who are also open minded about, or at least not judgemental of, the sexual orientation of the characters.
