Love this retelling of the Resurrection from the point of view of two angels, a guardian angel and the angel of death. However my copy has illustrations by Tim Jonke.

I bought this book because it had a theme very similar to another book close to my heart. I really loved it. I was immediately drawn into the story, wondering what the "unusual assignment" was. Then I wanted to know about the differing angels and then what the "orders" were. I was touched by the empathy shown by the angels and delighted in the wonderful ending... Great news for man and the angles. Thanks Bob Hartman and illustrator Tim Jonke for producing this book that speaks of the Resurrection of Christ in a such a wonderful and powerful way.
