Sugar had known a lot of women in his life. But he’d never met anyone quite like this mermaid-haired, tattooed, pierced, smartass woman named Peyton who made it clear she didn’t want anything from him except as many orgasms as he could give her.
So what was he supposed to do when he realized he did want more? How was he supposed to get this woman who was so committed to non-commitment to take a chance on him? Or convince the loansharks and ex-armed robbers that loved her that he was worthy? All the while trying to figure out how a dead man from his past had somehow come back to life… and why he was coming for him…

ღ Sugar & Peyton Story
Sugar was the slightly dangerous guy who good girls wanted to take for a ride;
➜"Peyton Reid,, where to start: she was a librarian with a record, like a couple drunk & disorderlies. Some vandalism. Public indecency. She looks like a mermaid with her multicolored hair , plus she also had a nose piercing & tattoos.. The woman just stood out, not just her looks, but also for her personality too
Oh, did I also mention that, Peyton is Autumn Mallick’s baby sister. Yeah you got that right Peyton’s brother in law is a Mallick
Suga Suga to all the females that Sugar has share his sweetness with over the years All kidding aside, sugar is one of those that is a lifer to the M.C… Kid you not he been around the M.C life since he was drop off on his daddy’s doorstep when he was around 3 yrs old….. Sugar is learning very fast that he has definitely met his match with his Mermaid
I’m not going to lie, after reading Sugar & Virgin’s history, I really want to skip up ahead to Virgin’s book! But I promised myself that I’d stay on course ☹So 🙏🙏 for me please
I put off reading this book for far too long, cuz for god knows why….. all I can say, is that was a big mistake! This was one of those sweet romance that made you laugh out loud so hard you wanted to cry it was that funny
I believe Mallick’s: Back to the Beginning up next in the Navesink Bank Universe, but I think that I’m going skip that one & move on to the The Fall of V (The Henchmen MC Series)
💖 Hope you enjoy this read 💖
⬇Always remember⬇
📚 Hope you enjoy this read & also always keep in mind this is just my opinion+ Also I wouldn’t never discourage anyone from reading this book.
All a board for the cray cray train called Peyton.. Add a little crazy plus come Sugar and off the rails you go for an funny, sexy epic ride..
Peyton is a character we've meet in two previous books. She was so off the wall you questioned what man could ever handle that. Sugar didn't know what hit him when the smart mouthed, tattooed, crazy colored hair woman who drives a hearse stops to give him a lift when his bike breaks down.
Along with the melting of the sheets these two do we also get to find out about Sugar's past and the previous MC that both Sugar and Virgin came from before joining the Henchmen. Even more epic was were the dinners with the Mallicks and Rivers (umm those Rivers brothers are yummy).
This book far exceeded my expectations of what we'd get for Peyton's story.. Sugar and her were a perfect match..
I am kinda upset that I can't Baby Bash out of my head now!
But who cares? Cause Peyton was awesome, her hair was fabulous (and very complimentary to my own!) Sugar was a sweetheart and I laughed so, so hard on this one that I fell out of my chair and hurt my hiney - again.
Plus we get a dog bonus with Hannibal - who would like his yummy liver treats with some fava beans and a nice chianti. (Peyton's sense of humor runs to the black side. Which was awesome too!)
Another great day in Navesink Bank and now I have to go re-read the Henchmen all over again.
Peyton!!! One of my favorite characters finally got her book! She's so funny and wild, she needed a man like Sugar in her life! I loved this couple! Who else could put a mermaid haired, tatted, pierced up librarian with a hot biker and make it work... only Jessica!

Another great addition to the Henchmen series. Absolutely loved it. So funny. They were apart for a few hours but I don't count that as a separation. Great story. Can't wait for the next one, a novella about V. Slight push/pull, but only cause she was scared for more. Great read, wouldn't recommend reading out of order.
With a name like SUGAR, and an author like Jessica Gadziala, I just knew I was in for some sweet and sexy reading! Pair this Henchman up with a mouthy, independent woman who “wants sex with no strings” and more “sex with no strings” and you just know you’ll be needing a large glass of ice water nearby!
Peyton is no Shrinking Violet and there probably hasn’t been a man before Sugar who could bring this relation-phobic female to heel. Just her list of “watchdogs and protectors would be enough to scare any man away, but Sugar isn’t just any man, but he is definitely all male.
Talk about a match made in, well, not heaven, but in Navesink Bank, these two are priceless and FRESH! Humor abounds, warm and fuzzies will fly and the sexual tension is off the charts as Jessica Gadziala focusses on two characters that could use some real romance in their lives. (And for once, the “hard guy” is a smartass woman!)
I always think each of Jessica Gadziala’s latest books are my favorite, that the latest characters are the best, the storyline the most amazing, but THIS time, THIS TIME, I really, REALLY mean it! This series just keeps on going and growing and exceeds my expectations!
I received a complimentary copy from Jessica Gadziala!

DISCLAIMER TO MY FELLOW GOODREADER This review is my personal opinion and may contain: spoilers, quotes, rants and swearing.
Peyton Reid lives by her own set of rules. She does whatever she wants whenever she wants. The crazier the better. When her older sister married into the Mallick family she gained them and the Rivers as her new family unit. They simply accept her without judgement. One night she picks up a stranger stranded on the side of the road. Peyton did not know at the time, but he would break down all her barriers.
“I was not the kind of kind of girl who did the feelings thing. Emotionally inarticulate, that was me.”
Sean “Sugar” is a member of the Henchmen MC based in Navesink Bank. They are taking shifts protecting the women and children since V is in hiding waiting to make her move. But life must go on. Business must continue for money to filter into their pockets. While coming back from a run, his bike breaks down stranding him without a way to the compound. Sugar lands himself a ride with a beautiful woman. One he knows, if given the chance, will be something special.
Ah ha! 3% in I was gifted with being reminded who Peyton was related to in the ever expanding Navesink Bank world. I need a fucking flowchart please! I really was drawing a blank there. Anyways... I read this with a smile on my face the entire time. True laugh out loud antics from the heroine. Slightly bummed we have to wait for the V drama to unfold, but I have zero patience!
Cliffhanger - no (book #12 of series) POV - Peyton & Sugar
This was a nice addition to the "Henchmen" series. I really enjoyed Sugar and Peyton! They both were great and funny. They clicked together, even though all the crazy shit Peyton did or said. Sugar was intrigued by her craziness and couldn't get enough.
Peyton was a crazy bitch! She did the most unexpected things! But she was a damn trip alright!
And I loved them together! They were crazy H.O.T!!!
Unlimited ✨ stars!! I have been dying to read the story of Peyton since meeting her in Eli to be honest I am more interested in Peyton than Autumn in that book to say that her character is different is definitely an understatement.. So imagine my delight when I learned that she will be having her own story with Sugar from the Henchmen MC.. So in typical Peyton way she picked up the damsel in distress who is stranded in his motorcycle in the middle of the road in her hearse.. Suga suga how you get so fly... I love Peyton with her mermaid hair, tatoos and piercing I love Sugar and I never thought that he will be this sweet I love that the story is focus about the couple since Peyton alone is a riot and we does not need any other interruption from her craziness.. This book made me laugh at the middle of the night and will probably one of my favorite Jessica Gadziala books.. Can't wait for the story of the River's brothers specially Kingston...
I sang this song in my head the ENTIRE book. I think this couple is by far my favorite mix and this is the funniest book in the Henchmen series.
Peyton is my spirit animal .....
"You wanted to go out and moon overnight truckers off the top of the bridge? I was your girl. You needed someone to be your accomplice while you shrink-wrapped your ex's car? I was loading up my shopping cart with Saran Wrap. You needed someone to sing absolutely schnockered angry chick music with at karaoke? I am all in."
Where has she been all my life???!!! The amount of 90's/early 00's music that was referenced made my soul happy, that is my era! Suga(the only way I will say it now) is a wet dream and I'd take a little Suga anytime 😉.
This book was full of fun, laughs, amazing new characters and tons of hot hot loving!
Sugar is sexy, fantastic, amazing...but Peyton, omg. She needs to be real and I want to be her BFF. Together, the two of them are dynamic. Peyton had me in stitches and her friends are perfect. Each Navesink Bank book just pulls me in deeper.
Watching Peyton slowly drop some of her guards - kicking and screaming the whole time, obviously - for Sugar reeled me in, fully and completely. Her interactions with the Mallicks, with Adler, with Jamie and Savea - Jessica keeps creating these amazing, loveable people that I wish I could meet IRL. I couldn’t wait to finish Sugar, but now I’m not sure what I’m going to do until the next one comes out.
When I read Eli Mallick's book - in my review I stated that I had found my favorite female character - Peyton and I have been waiting for her book. Needless to say I f**king loved this book. Right from word one it had me lmao and it just got better from there. Sugar needed someone just like Peyton to bring him down a notch from his own self and Peyton needed someone like Sugar to help her let her emotions do what they needed to do. Together they were awesome!!!
The mystical unicorn🦄 has fallen for some Sugar!!!! Peyton is seriously my new BFF. She is awesome! Her personality, her I don't care what you think, her fashion sense, and her amazing drinking skills!!!! I just love everything about Peyton. I like how Jessica was able to put so many Baby Bash references in there!!! That song is going to be stuck in my head for ever. Sugar was so sweet. The whole time I was reading I was trying to imagine his voice in my head. He was a really great choice for Peyton. I knew Jessica wouldn't let us down with Peyton's guy. I now want to see Virgin fall. I can't wait for his story!!! And that little tid bit at the end about a certain witch!!!!! Ahhhh.... that is going to be epic!!! I am so glad we finally got Peyton what a fun ride. I loved it❤❤❤! I highly recommend this book to all the Henchmen lover's!!!!!
Ohhhhh finally we get to see who could take on Peyton and it was was our favorite henchman Sugar!!! These two were opposites up fit together PERFECTLY! Now I reallllllly need Adler's book and Colton's book and some of the Rivers brothers book ASAP!!! Oh and Virgins book too!!
omg loved sugar and peyton. i have been wanting both of their stories for so long. they are so great together Peyton outragouesness to sugars laid back style. it took peyton some time to stop resisting the feelings she had and accept them for what they were. another great story from a great author
I really enjoyed this one. Peyton and her friends and family are fun. From the ball-stabby eyes to the Sunday dinner conversations. It was fun and vibrant and made for a really good read.
That’s all your getting because I need to know what happens to V.
Sugar was such a fun book! Right from the start I loved Peyton. She was absolutely hilarious & her friends Jamie & Savvs were new characters that I can't wait to see more of. We've known Sugar for a bit now but we didn't really know his story. With a ghost from the past coming back to haunt him & Virgin we get to learn all about his life growing up in MCs. I loved the way he handled Peyton & allowed her to be her crazy self. He also accepted her friends right away & that's just something I love. Since this is Peyton that means we get to see a bit of the Mallicks & Rivers which is a great bonus to an already awesome book. At the end of the book we get a big hint about something major going down with V & it has got me itching for answers. Go one click you some Sugar suga. 💋
This is Sugar and Peyton's story and it is the 12th installment in The Henchmen MC Series. These books just keep getting better and better!
Peyton is like my double, Unicorn hair - check, Works in library also check! Can drink any man under the table also a big check (Not that I do that regularly anymore) Yes I feel like Peyton could definitely be my double! Sugar really doesn't know what hit him when she stops on a dark road in the middle of the night to give him a lift. She is this smart mouthed, tattooed, crazy woman who drives a hearse and he can't help but be very intrigued with her.
"I can't help it. I have... a condition." "Oh yeah?" "Yeah... it's quite grave. It's called... Startshititis. I'm afraid there is no cure. Whenever someone is backassward, it just kicks in again."
We got a little look into the Mallick's & River's in this book which made me happy and also excited to see what Jessica does with the River Brothers. I also loved that this story focused mainly on Peyton and Sugar. Peyton is a riot all on her own. She was so entertaining to read and I couldn't put this book down. The Sugar playlist at the end of this book had me in stiches and prepare yourself to get a lot of Baby Bash in your head!
As always I'm looking forward to the next book in this series and can’t wait to see who will be next.
How you get so fly? Yeah, this is Sugar's story, and it's as hot as he is. One of the newer additions to the Henchmen, Sugar is no stranger to the MC lifestyle, having been in outlaw MCs since the tender age of 3. When he and Virgin (can't wait to read his story, too), join up, things with the Henchmen are seriously messed up. And they still are, now that V is out - but that's yet another highly-anticipated story. Sugar's bike breaks down in the middle of nowhere late one night, and who comes bombing along in her converted hearse? Peyton, known for her colorful EVERYTHING: hair, language, lifestyle. Related by marriage to both the Mallicks and the Rivers (loansharks and ex-bank robbers), Peyton is a wild one, never settling down, but always having fun and not necessarily in the most legal sense. Knowing that messing with a Henchman isn't recommended by her extended family wouldn't deter somebody like Peyton, and the chemical reaction she has to Sugar is irresistible. Both renowned for their unwillingness to have anything other than one night or casual buddy status with any given partner, the tension of their dance with the unknown (exclusivity) is painful and thrilling in equal parts, but makes total sense because their loyalty and love for their friends and family is unparalleled. Gorgeous people, gorgeous story.
Sugar,Sugar! I need some of that in my life! This is Sugar and Peytons ( yes!!!! The girl we have all been waiting for) story. Peyton is as crazy as always. Looking for fun anyplace she can, letting her "freak flag" fly and not giving a damn about what others think. She is all for A good lay, but nothing else. Ever. That is until a simple drive home has her playing the good Samaritan and offering a ride home to a stranded biker. Sugar. The chemistry between these two is immediate and they seem to run into each other all over town after she gives him a ride home. Sugar is a dirty talking, panty ripping, laid back biker who is also the love em and leave em kind of guy. Once they get together...fireworks and orgasms and waking up the neighbors. But, of course love is never that easy and they have a few issues that need to be worked, or boxed out. This book is a sexy, lighter read that will have you smiling the whole time. Definitely one of my favorite couples ever!
An added bonus is that we get to see a lot of our beloved characters from other books, which is always a huge plus for me! You rock Jessica!
I can never get enough of Jessica Gadziala's Henchmen. Hot, Sexy, sweet and rough around the edges biker. Strong, determined women who are not damsels in distress. Don't let that fool you, Sugars mermaid still needs saving, from herself, not a foe. Get caught up in Peytons mermaid song around Sugar. You will not regret.
I love these Henchmen and Sugar is a great addition. Light on the MC side but a great romance. Sugar is a rough and rugged biker brought to his knees by Peyton, a sassy and hilarious woman that lives her life by her own rules. This is easily read standalone.
