The world is just one giant tire fire of awful and Beckett has to do what seems impossible. Keep Luna safe...

But there are terrible storms, oppressive governments, and endless war, standing in his way.

Beckett and Luna are headed to shore.

They have a plan — to live in his house, together, on a mountain. The trouble is, they aren’t together now.

Luna is alone, paddling across the unrelenting ocean, meeting an unknown future with only her basic gear: a paddleboard, food and water, a tent.

Their communication is by radio, but that’s spotty, especially when the storms are coming…

Luna's survival depends on Beckett finding her again, and when they touch land, they might be in more danger than ever before.

Even better than the first one!

The dystopian world view increases, like a lens drawing back, showing us more of this crazy world that Luna and Beckett are surrounded by. The love story carries on through like a golden thread of sunshine surrounded by strong family love and beautiful friendship love. Such a joy to read I stayed in bed all morning and read it in one sitting. And perhaps this afternoon I will read the next one.... I am not sure I can hold myself back even though I want to savour these characters and the love stories inside this story. It's so delicious. Thank you Diana Knightley for another wonderful read. Xx highly recommend you five into this story!

Picks up where the first story ended. This one had more grit and was a bit darker than the first story. I wish there was a bit more world building. We are told certain things about the world when it becomes convenient for the story.

Their love story took a bit of hit in this one because of a forced separation. Beckett is sweet, but a bit of an idiot in this one. The dialogue still seemed a bit YA especially compared to the setting.

life, love and death

Luna has many things to learn about the mainland. We all have doubts we just need to figure out what is causing them to deal with the core issues themselves, so we do not have any more questions. Beckett has more immediate life and death problems to deal with than Luna. I think he needs to concentrate on getting out of this situation first and getting home.

An amazing book two

Read Leveling first! This series is too good. I can not stop reading it in one go. This is a: can't put down, stop reading for a minute series. It is so emersive that I forgot I was reading until I got to the last page. Book three here I come.

Vibrant Characters

Love story, great friends, luck, some good, some bad. Starting #3 right now. Great writer but you would never know other books written by her because each series is so unique.

humor

This is a strong book. Strong characters, strong storylines, and great humor. I cry and laugh at the same time. It’s very hard to put my tablet down because I want to keep reading.

Luna's Story had great potential and started off awesome in the first of the series but the plot fell flat by book #2. I was disappointed because I really like the characters.

Good Read

I just keep wanting to know what happens next with Luna and Beckett. Love the way Chickadee and Dilly accept Luna just because Beckett loves her

Enjoyed the love story Luna and Beckett. Can’t wait for the third book. With all the frustrations and blocks to togetherness, their love grows.
