War sucks. Actually everything about this world sucks now, every deep drowning bit of it. Beckett just has to figure out how to survive and keep Luna safe.

Beckett is done with his military service, but there's no transport to his mountain. He walks west, but the road is long and dangerous. The kind of slog that could break a man.

Luna is living in his home. Becoming a part of his family, hoping he'll survive and come home.

But if he does make it home, he'll find out she's been hiding something. A big secret that could take Beckett far past his breaking point.

And they can probably weather anything.

But while they level with each other, the world is leveling too.

Overall, there was so much about this trilogy that I loved and so much that I just didn't understand.

Maybe its me and this is supposed to be YA...but the covers and blurbs just don't seem YA. The dialogue and characters still seemed a bit odd, given the world and the conditions. I also thought that so much was thrown in this book for drama.

I did love that Beckett and Luna were ride or die for each other and there was never a doubt about it. Beckett did everything with Luna in mind and would do anything to make her happy. Their love story was so sweet. That's one thing I wouldn't change, their relationship was so sweet and so solid. The ending really did try to get me to cry.

A fun time but not a series I loved.

I loved the characters in this series but the plot seemed flat, just a series of hardships to get through with not a lot holding it all together. Book 1 in the series was the best.

Gosh!

A rollercoaster of a book, just when we thought it was going to be ok... Then all of this happened. No spoilers though, I promise. So much happens in this final part of the story and Luna and Beckett's story continues on amongst more dystopian landscape, more tragedy, more family, more friendship and plenty of tears from me. A great story make sure you start at the beginning, it's worth it. Thank you Diana Knightley.

ending with love

Everything happens for a reason and I truly believe in it. Luna shined bright like the constellation she talks about and Beckett see it that’s why he follows her. Beckett knows she is his other half so he does whatever he has to, to make her feel safe and wanted. I believe that is what I loved most was the characters.

What a lovely story!! Post-apocalyptic romance two of my favorite genres!! I love the multiple characters and the story never gets boring!! No endless chapters of inner turmoil the characters actually speak to one another and voice their love, concerns and conflicts!!

Beautiful

A tear-jerking, wonderful, emotional boat ride. I did not want it to end. A perfect ending to this series. I cried for so many reason with this one. And of course this is a must read.
I did read the entire series in one go because I could not put it down.

Sad to see the end

This author was new to me a couple of weeks ago. But I've really enjoyed getting acquainted with her stories. This series and her highlander series are some of my new favs.

Loved the whole series

I loved the whole series! I bought all of the books. I thought the ending was complete except i was hoping to find to read a bit more about building the boat, and and also the floating outposts. I'm hoping there will be another book.

Great trilogy

Wish there were more books in this series. Want to know what happens to Sky. And also Chickadee and Dilly’s history.

I did enjoy the outcome of the story, but this book seemed to be written by a totally different author. I only read clean stories and books 1 & 2 pushed me out of my comfort zone with a couple love scenes, but this book was full of cuss words and sex throughout. I would have stopped reading, but instead I skipped as much as possible to still be able to find out the rest of Luna and Beckett's story. I would recommend this book to complete Luna's story but be warned it isn't a clean read.
