March 26, 2018I love this series and who doesn’t love The Assassins.
This short review will be based on Tangled in the Laces aaaand Laces and Laces.
I got the chance to meet Karson and Lacey in the novella and I found them both sweet and my heart ached for them for the shit her dad did but when Laces and Laces came around hands down I wanted to bitch slap Lacey her dad and her BFF Rachel. Throughout the book I kept cheering for the both of them and my gut instinct liked Karson and I knew that boy was so hot and good lol. I was so happy that they met and everything went from good to worse but between that time I kind of lost my respect for Lacey, even though Karson at times made me laugh and swoon, I know that what she did was a shitty move. So no matter in the end the outcome I just was happy that Karson was happy and this story brings back memories with the players and even Karson’s family his bromance with JT and not to mention Lacey’s crazy dad her bitch of a friend Rachel and (I liked her brother Gray in the end though) made this book hope for Karson’s HEA.

Excellent Bundle
The series, including this bundle, is awesome. Each relationship is interesting and believable and grounded in reality. Toni Aleo isn’t afraid to deal with the hard stuff and fears that hold people hostage from living their lives and still serve up the sexy.

One of the best ways to read about the Nashville Assassins is in a box set. You will fall in love with so many amazing characters. They will make you laugh out loud one minute and then ugly cry the next minute. All hockey players are hot and sexy. Their significant others give them a run for their money. Great storylines of amazing love stories. Of finding true love. Can't wait for the next instalment of Nashville Assassins.
