Tercona Book 3 Trinity's Traps is the 3rd book in the Tercona series. I liked Book 1 and this book (book 3) the best. Here's why...

It's packed with a thrilling story. From the very first chapter we SEE Tercona fighting! Well, it's training with her best friend Britney but still...she FIGHTING! Then in chapter 2 she has to rescue a baby from a flood! This book is like a roller coaster ride!!!

There's action, adventure, drama and it's funny too! Some of my favorite lines are the ones where an old cartoon like Kim Possible, Danny Phantom and Teen Titans are given a nod. They're never talked about directly (I assume for copy right reasons) but...YEA - we know know where their talking about!

The antagonist of this book is Trinity. She is a great villain with a well thought out back story. She's cunning and puts the main characters Tercona, Britney and Bryan through a series of traps that will make your heart race. Like Britney in a cylinder fulling with cooking oil or Bryan on a diving board that might fall into a vat of sewage! And Tercona has to save then in 3 minutes or less! (Oh My God...will she save them on time?)

By the end you really feel sorry for Trinity. Also, I won't give you any spoilers but Trinity connects to the 1st book in a way that totality shocked me. Seriously! I had to go back to the 1st book and read that part and then I did an...OH MY GOD - NO WAY!

You can tell Frank has thought of all kinds of little details and will lead up where the story needs to be. Details that might seem small and petty at first but will have a big payoff at the end.

Frank also writes compelling characters too. Characters that you want to know more about and you'll care for as they grow. The high school dance is good example of that. It makes you want to cheer for the couples to get together. ALL the couples. Well, expect Samantha. She's a mean bitch! LOL

One of the best characters in this series is Britney Garcia. Tercona might the main character but Britney is MY FAVORITE character. She's Hispanic, sassy, knows Martial arts and is a real bad ass! After talking to my friends and reading other reviews from people like Poppy and Nancy - I think Britney is gay too. I say 'I THINK' because the writer - Frank James Bailey - is marketing these books as "Family Friendly" so I assume he has to tread lightly when it comes to 2 girls in a loving relationship. Family-friendly means ANYBODY can read them without worry or judgement. If 2 female characters where in a relationship he might get bombarded with hate mail from radical religious groups. I get it.

It's never said in so many words but I think it's clear that Britney has a "thing" for her friend Tiffany. From what I pieced together with the first 2 books I think Britney is gay but the writer just can't say so...at least not right now.

(** Go back to Book 1 and read how Britney and Bryan are BEST FRIENDS and in book 2 when Paige and Britney are talking in the mall and Paige just "doesn't get it" why she'll always only be friends with Bryan. **)

If this is true, I think this is a very bold move for a book that is meant for kids or rather a family friendly audience. Talking about real high school relationships (straight, bi or gay...whatever) in a family friendly audience takes courage.

I hope the Britney & Tiffany relationship is explored further is the next book.

In closing, Tercona Book 3 - Trinity's Traps is fun, exciting, thrilling, and funny. This series would make a great cartoon!

This is the third book in the Tercona series and I love this one the best. Why? Well, for starters it's packed with a thrilling story. There's action, adventure, drama and it's also very funny too! The lines I love are the ones where an old cartoon like Kim Possible, Danny Phantom and Teen Titans are given a "nod". They're never talked about directly (I assume for copy right reasons) but we know!

The antagonist of this book is Trinity. She is an great villain with a well thought out back story. She's cunning and put the main characters Tercona, Britney and Bryan through a series of traps that will make your heart race. (Oh My God...will they make it on time?) but by the end you really feel sorry for her. Also, I won't give you any spoilers but Trinity connects to the 1st book in a way that totality surprised me.

One of the best parts for me was the high school drama. Let me explain how...

There is this very tough character in these books named Britney Garcia. Tercona might be the star of these books and the main character but Britney is MY FAVORITE character. She's Hispanic, sassy, knows Martial arts and is a real bad ass! Oh, and did I mention - I think she's gay. I say 'I think' because the writer - Frank - is marketing these books as "Family Friendly" so I assume he has to tone down the notion that 2 girls can have a loving relationship or he might get bombarded with hate mail from the alt-right. I get it. I'm a bi-sexual girl and it's not easy for me. I'm very lucky to be home schooled and not have to deal with bullies.

From what I pieced together with book 2 and now book 3 I think Britney is gay but the writer just can't tell us out right. I can clearly see that Britney has the hots for Tiffany. If this is true, I think this is a very bold move for a book that is meant for kids (or rather a family friendly audience). To tackle real high school relationships...straight, bi or gay...in a family friendly audience takes courage.

I hope the Britney & Tiffany relationship is explored further is the next book.

In closing, Tercona Book 3 - Trinity's Traps is fun, exciting, thrilling, and funny. I hope you can see why I really want this to turn into a cartoon.

Anyway, I hope you find it as enjoyable as I did.

Here is my review of Tercona: Book 3 - Trinity's Traps written by Frank James Bailey.

It's packed with a thrilling story. From the very first chapter we SEE Tercona fighting! She's training with her best friend Britney but still...she FIGHTING! Then in chapter 2 she has to rescue a baby from a flood! This book is like a roller coaster ride from the start!!

Trinity is a great villain with a well thought out back story. She's cunning and puts the characters Tercona, Britney and Bryan through a series of traps that will make your heart race! Like Britney is put in a cylinder that is slowly fulling with cooking oil and Tercona has to save her in 3 minutes or less before Britney drowns in oil! Or Bryan is on a diving board that might fall into a vat of sewage and Tercona also has to save him in 3 minutes or less too! You won't be able to put this book down because it will keep you on the edge of your seat!!!

It's funny, thrilling, dramatic and there is also great character development too. Like the high school dance scene. It's never said in so many words but I think it's clear that Britney has a "thing" for her friend Tiffany. From what I pieced together with the first 2 books I think Britney is gay but I think any good writer will never actually SAY this. A good writer will just let it happen because love is love!

(** Seriously, go back to Book 1 and read how Britney and Bryan are BEST FRIENDS and in book 2 when Paige and Britney are talking in the mall and Paige just "doesn't get it" as to why Britney will always only be friends with Bryan. **)

If this is true, I think this is a very bold move for a book that is meant for kids or rather a family friendly audience. Talking about real high school relationships (straight, bi or gay...whatever) in a family friendly audience takes courage. Frank, I love you for it.

For me this truly is the best one of all 3. I give it 5 stars and you really need to read it out too.

This is the 3rd book in the Tercona book series by Frank James Bailey.

I mainly got this for my daughter, she's 11 now. I bought book 1 for her when she was little. She loved all of these books ever since.

This 3rd book connects to book 2 very easily (Trinity can be scene on top of the mall in book 2) and at the end of book 2 Trinity actually talks to YOU - the reader - she'll be in book 3. She also connects to book one in a very small way too. But I won't say as to how. It's very clever.

Generally the story is is a big chase...Trinity puts Bryan, Britney and Tercona through some traps that remind me a little bit of the Saw movies only this is for kids so no blood. lol To make sure you know that this is a kids book Trinity tells YOU - the reader - "I'm not going to kill him it's a kids book!" Anyway, after our heroes have sprung the last trap Tercona tries to stop Trinity from getting away so she doesn't cause havoc on anyone else.

Trinity is a much better villain then Dr. Q who was in the second book. The funny thing is Trinity actually tells YOU that Dr. Q was a lame villain in a breaking the 4th wall bit. I can tell that Frank was influenced by Deadpool when he created Trinity. She wears red & Black, she breaks the 4th wall and she's kind of a small ass but she is toned down a lot for a younger audience.

Trinity also has a good back story too. She's a much better villain then Dr. Q. I feel for her where I could care less about Dr. Q. I have a feeling we'll see more of Trinity in the books to come.

Also, there are a lot of funny lines in this book too that call back to older cartoons that I remember when I grew up. Kim Possible, Danny Phantom and Teen Titans.

To wrap up my review, this book has action, drama, humor and a tiny bit of high school romance. I can see the kids "shipping" a few characters in this book.

I like and my daughter loved it too. 5 stars!

This is the 3rd book in the Tercona book series by Frank James Bailey. I had to order it through the website because I heard a lot of good things about it and I couldn't wait to buy it from Frank and have him sign it at a comic con or book store. Oh, and there's a very good indication that there will be more books to come in this series too.

My 2 favorite books in this series are Book 1 and Book 3.

The antagonist of this book is Trinity. She's a very good villain with a well thought out back story. She's cunning and puts our main characters Tercona, Britney and Bryan through a series of traps that will make your heart race. Like Britney in a cylinder fulling with cooking oil or Bryan on a diving board that might fall into a vat of sewage!

By the end you really feel sorry for Trinity. She also breaks the 4th wall sometimes too. My favorite line is "I'm not going to kill him it's a kids book!" NO spoilers but Trinity connects to the 1st book in a way that I never saw coming.

Frank also writes compelling characters too. The high school dance is good drama that makes you want to cheer for the couples to get together.

He has always said he drew inspiration from Kim Possible, Danny Phantom and Avatar The Last Airbender. I can see why. Tercona kinda reminds me of Kim Possible a little in the face only with blue hair and a blue mask and the relationships of "will they or wont they" reminds me of those older cartons too. Like Kim & Ron or Danny & Sam. Not only that but in THIS book he gives a "nod" to some of those old cartoons. You'll see what I mean when you read it.

I give Tercona: Book 3 - Trinity's Traps 5 stars!

Well, since Frank put book 3 up on the website Tercona.com I won't have to buy it now. LOL (Just kidding Frank. I'll get one from you at Fantasticon in Toledo in 2019.)

Seriously, reading a book on-line is great but a book SIGNED by the author is even better! Plus you can get a picture of the author when you see them at the con too!

Anyway...on to my review.

Tercdona: Book 3 Trinity's Traps is the best book of all 3. Book 1 was good. Book 2...mehh. Book 3? WOW!

All 3 books connect together on small ways. For example, in book 1 a guy named George Landon spots an unidentified object flying into Earth in the early 1990's. In book 1 he's just a private. In book 3 he's a General working for Baka! It's little things like that connecting all 3 books together. (there are more then just that one but you get the idea!)

In book 3 we start off with Tercona learning some new fighting moves from her friend Britney. Then our hero is off to save a baby from a flash flood! Then (the next day) it's back to school. Who is going to take whom to the school Homecoming dance? In the mists of the high school drama Britney and Bryan are kidnapped! Now Tercona has to save them.

Trinity is a great villain with an awesome backstory! Hurt and experimented on as a child she missed out on all the fun years so now she's making up form lost time. Oh and did I mention she has shape-shifting capabilities? She sets traps for our heroes and one by one they have 3 minutes to save there loved ones or they could...DIE! SERIOUSLY! Britney could die in a vat of cooking oil if Tercona doesn't save her and Bryan could fall into a pool of sewage water if he isn't saved!

This story is a keep you on the edge of your seat thrill ride!

In the end, after all the info is out there about Trinity, you kinda feel sorry for her. All she wants to do is have fun but she's just going about it the wrong way!

Finally, the high school dance. It's so cute to see the love and friendship between Paige and Bryan. They will make a great couple. But like Britney says in the book, we KNOW they're going to end up together! This is why I'm rooting for Britney & Tiffany. You can see the struggle Britney has with relationships. You can tell there's more to her history then where we're reading. She might be a tough girl but she's defiantly more complicated then what we see!

Even thought I already read Tercona: Book 3 for free on Tercona.com I'm STILL going to by it. Because I know it's good! No...it's great! When this becomes a cartoon I want to have a piece of history before it became famous!

This is the 3rd book in the Tercona book series by Frank James Bailey.

It's packed with a thrilling story. There's action, adventure, drama and it's also really funny too! The lines I love are the ones where an old cartoon like Kim Possible, Danny Phantom and the Teen Titans are given a "nod". They're never talked about directly (I assume for copy right reasons) but come on...we know!

The villain of this book is Trinity. She is a very good villain too with a very well thought out back story but honestly by the end you really feel sorry for her. She's has some very funny lines and she breaks the 4th wall like Deadpool but in a much less vulgar way. Trinity is tricky, cunning and puts the main characters Tercona, Britney and Bryan through a series of traps that will make your heart race. Like when Britney is in a tube looking thing that's filling with cooking oil or when they're all on a fast moving ride and have to get off before it spins out of control!

Trinity connects to the 1st book in a very "small" way too. I have a feeling we'll see Trinity again in future Tercona books.

Now for the high school drama part of the book.

In this book Bryan wants to ask Paige to the homecoming dance but he's afraid it will mess up there close friendship. When he finally gets the nerve to ask her, it's too late. Someone beat him to it. Meanwhile, Britney wants to see if her cheer leading friend Tiffany is going to the dance too. We don't find out until later that Tiffany and her other cheer leading friends all went alone. Well, expect Samantha the most snotty girl of the school who got back togetehr with her boyfriend at the dance. Oh, and did I mention, the guy who asked Paige to the dance BEFORE Bryan had a chance to ask her was Samantha's boyfriend. He only took Paige to the dance to make Samantha jealous. Like I said, Samantha and her boyfriend are rotten to the core!

I really need to see this book series turned into a cartoon soon. It has action, thrilling suspense, high school drama, and lots of funny lines that are not - over the top - silly.

It other words, it's very good writing!

I give Tercona: Trinity's Traps 5 stars!

For Christmas week 2018 Frank James Bailey (the author of the Tercona series) put all 3 of his books up on his website www.Tercona.com. I read the fist one (Tercona: Book 1 - Our New Home) when he put it up on the site for free in April. I read the second book (Tercona: Book 2 - Dr. Q & The Banana Gun) when he put it up on the site in October. Thanks to his latest promotion, I was able to read the third book (Tercona: Book 3 - Trinity's Traps.)

I personally think book 3 is the best!

The new villain Trinity is sassy, cunning, and devious. Her motivation for doing what she does is not bend on world domination which is very refreshing. She just wants to have fun in a very dangerous way. lol Trinity's back story is so much better then Dr. Q's backstory too. I feel for Trinity and sympathize for her. She's was hurt and she's been through a lot too. There is a small connection that goes back to the first book involving Trinity but I wont spoil it for you.

I love the call backs to some of the great cartoons when I grew up. Danny Phantom, Kim Possible, Teen Titans and the characters also throw a shout out to Big Hero 6 too. lol Clearly these characters are watching today's cartoons.

There is action, drama, humor and great character development in this book too. You can tell Tercona is growing as a superhero. The second chapter says a lot in her development. The other characters are growing too and I think (without actually coming out and saying it) one of the main characters is gay. She has the hots for another female character. Or so I think. They never dance together or kiss or anything like that but the signs are there. If this is true and one of the girls is gay then this is a very bold move for a superhero book marketed towards kids. I feel that love is love too and I hope someday the bigots get the message that love will always win!

My final though is this - Tercona: Book 3 - Trinity's Traps is a great book. You'd benefit if you got all 3 but book 3 is the best to me.

I read Frank James Bailey's 3rd book Tercona: Book 3 - Trinity's Traps during Christmas week when he let his fans read all 3 books for free on his website www.Tercona.com as a Christmas gift to his fans.

I think Book 1 and Book 3 are the best. Here's why...

Book 1 was a great introduction to the hero and her story. I was excited to find out what was going to happen next.

Book 2 was OK. A good continuation from the first story but the villain was lack-luster.

Book 3 surprised me!

First off, Trinity breaks the 4th wall and talks to YOU the reader! Not all the time like Deadpool but just enough to get the readers attention.

It has a lot of funny lines, good character development and the suspense kept me glued to my computer as I read each chapter and couldn't wait for the next one.

Trinity connects to the 2nd book as a character you would not suspect at all too.

By the end I felt sorry for Trinity. She's a mess but she's also complicated. She wants to have fun but she also wants to mess with people. She would make a great character to see animated. Is she a villain, an anti-hero or just a messed up girl?

To wrap this up I give Frank's 3rd book 5 stars.

For me...this was the best book of the first 3.

Like I said before, I read all 3 of Frank's books when he put them on his website www.Tercona.com as free read for a Christmas promotion. Anyone could read them on the website for free for Christmas week. This promotion ended in January 2019 but I did get a chance to read all 3.

Anyway, the things I love about book 3 are...

1 - The villain Trinity! Unlike Dr. Q in book 2 Trinity is a well thought out villain. She has a good back story. You find out how she got her powers and once you know you really feel sorry for her. She lost her family and her childhood. The biggest surprise was the tie in to the first book! I had to go back and read book 1 again to SEE and make sure and when I saw it I was like..."Holy crap!" You can clearly see that Frank thought this through and planed this out from the beginning.

Plus, Trinity talks to YOU - the reader! My favorite line is "I'm not going to kill him it's a kids book!" A Deadpool line without profanity! BRILLIANT!!!

2 - The adorable high school drama between Paige & Bryan and Britney & Tiffany. It's very clear that we are being pushed to ship Tercona (Paige) & Bryan. He likes superheros and she IS a superhero! But it's very refreshing to see 2 girls being pushed together. Britney is one tough cookie and she turns into a bowl of jelly when she's around Tiffany. How cute!

3 - The suspense! Not only is this a good story but it's a roller coaster ride of suspense! Will Tercona save a woman from raging flood waters? Will Tercona save her friend Britney in time before she drowns in a chamber filling with cooking oil? Will Tecona catch Trinity?

This is my favorite book from all 3.

Get Tercona: Book 3 - Trinity's Traps! It's a great book!!!

One more thing...I see that Frank make a Tercona comic book for 2019. I can't wait to read that! Go to www.Tercona.com and find out more.

Of all 3 of Frank's books in this series...this one is the best! (I don't have the new comic book yet.)

Tercona book 3 is loaded with action, drama, suspense, and it's also very funny too.

In chapter 2, when Tercona has to save a family from a flood...that was intense!

It's cute to see how much Bryan has a crush on Paige or rather Tercona. The typical high school drama of who is going to whom to the dance is dramatic. There's even some hits that Britney wanted to ask Tiffany to the dance. It's implied but it's never actually shown...yet.

Speaking of dramatic...Trinity is devious! She turns into a cat to get Bryan's mom to "touch her" so then she can turn into Bryan's mom to KIDNAP Bryan and Britney! Oh My God!!!

Once the action in the abandon amusement park starts it's a never ending thrill ride! From Britney chained in a cylinder and having oil dumped on her to Bryan on a diving board about to fall into a pool of sewage! I was on the edge of my seat until all 3 of them got out of that amusement part.

Finally, let me talk about Trinity some more. She is SOOOO much better then Dr. Q. Trinity has a tragic back story. You feel sorry for her and you understand how she feels not having a childhood. She wants to have fun but she is totally going about it the wrong way.

And that last page...A CLIFF HANGER? Oh My Flippin God!!!! I hope Frank brings back Trinity. So far she is my favorite villain of the series.

Tercona: Book 3 - Trinity's Traps is the best book of the series. There is also a new comic book out now but I haven't read that one yet. You can read some of it here... www.Tercona.com
