Lady Pennington seduces Mr. Ashley for one night of pleasure. In exchange, his family can continue to live in the house she bought for six months. Willing to give him what ever he wants in pleasure, he can't refuse. It ended on a note that fit, but at the same time an extended book with a different outcome would have been nice. A very short read! STEAMY!!

3.5 stars. Enjoyable but not full story
Act 1 of a play without continuation after intermission-
Felt bereft ,not just missing HEA, but the paths of characters after their one passionate night together.
Highly enjoyed the partial story, or scene, that unfolded with it's hints of unseen. depths. Still left frustrated that journey stopped at dead end

Seductive
This short novelette is a lovely historical read with plenty of steam. Ms. Brown brings us a heroine who is not shy about getting what she wants. And whom Georgeanna wants is Mr. Cedman Ashley. Lady Pennington’s desire is of singular focus, especially when attaining the attention of the man who has a reputation for satisfying his female partners.
When Cedman learns of Georgeanna’s sly manipulations to force his hand, he’s equally impressed and enraged at her use of extortion. He agrees to one night together, but Cedman ensures Georgeanna gets her dose of discipline for her impertinence. But the determined widow proves his equal. I enjoy Ms. Brown’s writing. She weaves a story that is enticing and pleasurable to read. I just hope we see more of Cedman and/or Georgeanna. I received and voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.

Isn't it amazing what a landlord and tenant's son will come up with to keep a mother in her home! I can't believe he left her after that sizzling night to court Miss Adams. There has to be more, and Lady Pennington must not have to wait! I know I can't.

This was book six in the Super Steamy Regency Romance Series. A short story that you can read in less than two hours. Miss Pennington was determined to trick Mr Cedmon Ashley into her bed if even for one night. What drama and a sizzling night to remember. What what about Miss Adams. Twists, surprises and a quick, fun read. I read a reader copy and voluntarily chose to write a review.

Ok, this is just a a “quickie” review. Unfortunately, I’m in in a hospital and asked my husband to post this since I don’t have the time to do better - even though the book definitely deserves it.
Bottom line: five stars. This was one wonderfully fun novel and definitely recommended. It had just what I wanted and was well written and with a great plot and great cast of characters.

Hot, steamy story! Georgeanna knew what she wanted from Cedman. This was a moment in their lives. The heat was high, and the characters were intriguing. I would like to have read more as this was more of an encounter rather than their story. I could have used more.

I thoroughly enjoyed this novel from the first page until the very last. It has been a very rare occurrence that I could just pick up a book and read it in one day; but, I was captivated by these characters and their amazing love story instantaneously.

We have a spanking as punishment and hard bed rocking sex. How is this not under her Em Brown name? It was tame for kinky reading but GB is supposed to be just the vanilla aide of things. Either way good read.

This is a well written book of erotica. There is no romance and the ending does not end in an HEA. Just one woman getting what she wants and blackmailing the man she wants with his mother's home.
