I loved this! I love how Deka (h) was strong, smart, and determined and she did the rescuing of Samael (H). She was convinced he is her mate even though he didn’t really notice her when they first met. I would normally not like that but Samael’s circumstances made sense. I liked the rollicking adventure and it was a very fun, fast paced read. The banter was quite funny. Looking forward to the next book!

Dragon Reborn by Eve Langlais
Dragon Point book number 5. Best read as part of the series for the best background on the dragon septs, colors, families, etc.
Another dragon where the world revolves around them. That’s actually the dragon default. Having just read a different series mid point book by the same author, this heroine is remarkable similar. Vain, self centered, and fixed on the hero as her mate with a f me now attitude. But she is strong and smart enough to escape within a day of being captured so kudos to her superior attitude.
Amusing, silly and very sexy, this couple is bound for the bedroom, the countertop, the throne and wherever they happen to be. Plus escape, rejoin family....

The sassy funny witty and arrogant dragons strike again. There isn't anything not to like about this story. There are so many moments when you giggle and gasp. It expands the plot of the last Dragon Point novel with the slightly psychotic Deka Silvergrace and her going after her man Samael. Well rescuing her muffin, shes strong and funny as hell. I must admit after Sue-Ellens book i wasn't a fan of the arrogant/evil golden dragon but the love of a good and slightly nutty dragoness turns it all around, and by the end of the book i was firmly in his court and loving that he had come into his own. The big bad suzie they fight was formidable and they triumphed over her. There was just so much in this book to love. The sheer arrogance and lunacy of the dragons makes me laugh every book. It makes for a really different read than most shifter novels, i think it gives a great balance of wit, drama and romance that is typically Eve. It was fast paced the the dirty, naughty romance was spot on. When you think Eve cant go one better she pulls this out, this book is a great read.

So, at the end of the previous book, Samael D’Ore goes missing. Deka Silvergrace is determined to find him. They meet briefly in Dragon Foretold. She knows they are mates. She won’t be without him.
Deka manipulates her family to send her to Paris so that she can continue her search there. She doesn’t hide that she is searching for him. She is quickly taken prisoner by the same people who have Samael.
There is something new in this book. The jailers are a slug-like creature. They are compared to Jabba the Hut. I found them interesting. I’m wondering what the future will hold for these guys.
This isn’t the first time that Eve Langlais has taken a villain from a previous book and turn them into a hero for a later book in the series. I have to say, she is pretty good at it. As much as you dislike Samael in Dragon Foretold, you learn to love him in Dragon Reborn (though I don’t think he compares to Gene from Polar Bared).
This series continues to be funny and suspenseful and with great banter between the characters. I’ve really enjoyed my time with the dragons. I’m thinking this is the last book in this series. But I also think that this will probably spin off into another series (like Kodiak Point and Bitten Point), though I have nothing that tells me that this, it is just a hunch.

Again, Chandra Skyye did an okay job with the narration. Male and female voices are okay. The pace and tone are okay.

Deka might be crazy, but she is sure Samuel is her mate. But since he has disappeared she has to go and look for him to claim him. Samuel is kidnapped by a mysterious creature to another relm were he is tortured, until Deka finds him and they bundle their powers to get them out. The mysterious creature has layed siege on earth in the meantime, but will Samuel be strong enough now to save the world instead of destroying it?
Pro's:
+ The running storyline comes to a strong conclusion in this novel. I like it how the characters from the previous novel also play a very important role in the defeat of the mysterious creature. A lot of lore details come together and it feels like a good ending to the series ( even though it isn't :))
Con's:
- Along the whole series, the female dragon leads are really unpleasant and Deka is no exception. The ONLY thing she thinks about is sex and herself. I even felt it helt Samuel's character growth back a lot, to the pont of it not being funny anymore. I'm all for funny, crazy and strong female leads, but the selfish-ness makes it incredibly uncomfortable.
I'm so divided about this book.. I really love the conclusion of the overarching story, but Deka's character also really cripples the story. There is a really nifty ending though, that leads to the final novel, so I keep my hopes up that it will be awesome.

This one was so fantastic! I loved every single part. Deka was hilarious, stubborn and a perfect fit for Samael. His lack of confidence was balanced by Deka's overconfidence in him. His fear was offset by Deka's fearlessness. She helped him realize his own potential and by the end the balance went both ways. They complimented each other and I just love that. Add in an awesome foe, great action and adventure, a trip to Australia (Woohoo!) and more diversity within the dragons (Yay for Babette!) and this was a definite winner. I love the set up for the next book and I can't wait to read it, especially since I love the scene with Elspeth. It had me cracking up at how sunny she was. I can already tell the next book is going to be hilarious. Great work, Eve! I definitely recommend this book!

Wow, i just love a strong, confident and super hilariously arrogant woman but Damn, she out did every other heroine i have read! I have never laughed so hard.
Even though there was only supposed to be 4 books in this series, this 5th book was nicely added to complete the storylines while, adding yet another storyline....
The title was also well given by giving more to a previous villain, turned victim, turned hero. Great couple, who complete each other😉 Great ending... but it still continues...lol.

I really should have adored this book but it just didn't click for me. It kept reminding me of other series/authors (g.a. aiken/kresley cole) that I enjoy in a weird way. The voice didn't work for me but this was also the very first book I have read from this author and in this series.

Deka Silvergrace knew that Samael D'Ore was her fated mate the instant she laid eyes on him.
Samael D'Ore had always envied what his brother Remiel ( DRAGON FORETOLD ) had. When he couldn't get the love of his brother's mate even through deception. He nearly lost it then he was taken by an ancient enemy.
Deka was out to find her mate, no matter what. While Samael thought back on all he'd lost because of his actions. She went to rescue him by making sure she became a prisoner as well.
He was intrigued by her as they got to know one another, Samael realized that Deka was his mate. He made it his mission to protect and rescue her from their enemy.
The ememy turned out to be more powerful than either one of them expected. She was out to destroy the Dragons and Earth. But Samael, Deka and the rest of the Septs weren't going to let that happened.
Loved how persistent Deka was when it came to wining her "stud muffin's" heart. Discovering some new and intriguing things about Samael was wonderful. To have the two brothers come together after what happened between them was well done.
With the enemy taken care of and Samael finally being the man and the Dragon he was meant to be. It was time for him to claim his Princess.
DRAGON REBORN is the fifth installment in Eve Langlais' DRAGON POINT series. Oh my what an incredible ride. It was fascinating, at the edge of your seat exciting and humurous. Eve Langlais never cease to amaze me with her talent. 5++++

I am amazed but not really to the great storytelling Eve does . She knows how to draw the listener in with her wit and funny lines. This is book 5 in the series. This is mostly about a lioness . You love this it will have you laughing on the floor on some parts .

It's review time 🎧
Warning ⚠️: shifters, experience, from alligator to dragon i will refer to this series as a whole because I listened to it as such.
Narrator score🎧 ; the narrator was good, she kept a great voice during the whole series.
Level of steam🔥: each book was quite hot, you had some slower pace and some faster but overall it was hot.
Level of anxiety and sadness😱😢: well you had some drama in some books more and in some less.... I couldn't feel a lot of sadness because the stories went in a fast pace but you had some drama.
The book itself📖: I think this series was fun. Its a world of shifters that was already created and its an after series so to speak... the first book reviled us a new species and the dragons world was quite interesting indeed, you had some interesting characters in this series. The first couple was cute and so were the others. A very nice series indeed

This fifth book in the series reads like it will be the end of the series and in some respects it is as one major story arc is resolved. Book has tons of off the wall humor, quirky characters, a solid story and hotness. Everything you would expect in an Eve Langlais book.
Definitely worth reading. Love this dragon world that the author has created. I've had a great deal of fun visiting. The journey is not quite over yet. At least one more to go and I look forward to reading it.

Oh man I found this book to be epic. I know sounds cliche but seriously I was laughing at the antics of these two. The twists and turns ensure the book never turns dull. And the way Dekas mind works is truly fascinating and causes more than one eye bulging moment between her and Samael. Cue the laughter!!!

Dragons and War
Samael is trapped in a dungeon held by the evil suzerain, but since seeing him in the previous book, silver dragon is obsessed with saving her dragon shifter mate, so arranged for herself to be abducted , unfortunately, despite her arrogance she can't escape and Samael has lost his arrogance and won't do anything, despite her annoying him.
Though he can't help being attracted to her.
Deka is pretty much annoying to everyone but for some reason, Samael adores her and she's a likeable character.
There's chemistry, humour and sexy moments.

OMG, Deka is too funny. This one had me laughing all the time. Samuel having to regroup and find himself needed her to get him through it. Deka is just so much fun. Actually all the Silver is fun. They all are a bit crazy. And that makes them so worth while. And with the steamy sex between these two, they are a "killer" team.
But now we have a new enemy in our mist or is he? I cant wait to read Demon Walking.

The Golds are loose, cryptos outed, and the Silvers females are in the thick of things. This is Deja’s book and what a hoot. We thought the twins were...eccentric. They had nothing on Deka! Her personality is totally over the top and hysterical. Hysterically funny that is. She’s the twins plus ten to the nth power! Again Eve Langlais shows her sense of humor and timing in this installment.

The thing I truly enjoyed with this couple was their arrogance! Really, while they both believe and expected the world to revolve around them, they made it work in their favour. Deka’s take on everything, seeing the world the way she wanted it to be, kept a smile on my face the whole time while listening. Samael was her perfect match, which she knew of course, and match her he did. Getting these two to their forgone conclusion was fun and sexy, with adventures abound!

Loads of Laughs!!!
Deka and Samael 🔥 🔥 🔥 all the fornicating they did Sheesh!!! These 2 were so funny together. She knew what she wanted and got him. I loved this storyline and the characters. So glad to read the end of Suzie 😂😂😂 and now to have to deal with Lucifer!! 😩😩😩 Well on to the next story. I hope by the end of this series it will bring them all back together. 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰💜💜💜💜💜😁😁😁😁😁

Once again craziness and tongue in cheek humour abound.
Not one of my favourites as it seemed to be lacking that spark between Deka and Samael. I felt like he was somewhat brow beaten into a relationship. Not because he had feelings for her.
Saying that, I enjoyed the plot and the silliness as well as the two brothers being reunited.
The ending was just pure fun.

Dragon Reborn
This is book five of the Dragon Point series by Eve Langlais. I have to say I have not been disappointed. Every book has been a gem. The arrogance of some of the characters are giggle worthy. Deka is perhaps one of the most self centered arrogant dragoness, and yet the most loyal of them all. I enjoyed every one of the five I have read.

Insanity and arrogance make for an interesting mix.
With a few twists and turns the story continues with Deka and Samael.
It's all about claiming a mate, add in an ancient evil foe, an alternate dimension - including slug servants, and a revival of a wizard dragon and you have a Dragon Reborn.

New favorite book!
Just when I think she can’t get any better, Mrs. Langlais comes out with a new book to prove me wrong. Reborn was dirty, naughty, and oh so good, quickly sucking me in and not letting me go. I loved this book, and cannot wait for Demon Walking!

Golden Dragon
I just can't express how much I love this authors books. Her imagination doesn't stop. Her characters always have very vibrant personalities. She has a special way of mixing, danger, action, sexual encounters and at the same time making you laugh. Awesome book!!

These books are ridiculous and fun. I liked Deka a lot. She was one of the craziest silvers, after Adi.
