The ragtag Odds crew’s useless gifts have gotten out of control. Farshad’s thumbs are so strong that just trying to send a text will break his phone, and Cookie can now send mental directions instead of just listening in on them with her telepathy. To make matters worse, a bunch of their less-than-gifted classmates have become town celebrities thanks to their suspiciously good exam results. But Jay and Nick realize that all these whiz kids have parents who work for Auxano, so they race off to find out what’s really going on. Fans won’t want to miss the conclusion to the adventures of this motley group of heroes and their patchwork powers!

I loved this so much! It was a satisfying conclusion to a great series. I love Martina and I ADORE Jay. I loved Gertie and the chicken. I like how their powers manifested, and the whole thing between Cookie and Jay. this was a great read. Well done, Amy!

This book was so funny! Ok, so
Nick ‘s power might be a little uncontrollable…
Farshad ‘s super strength is starting to spread …
Cookie’s starting to get very annoyed with her power…
And Martina… well some thing is probably happening to her too…
Cookie is trying to be okay with being Martina in public, but her “normal lessons” aren’t working. Farshad’s parents are going crazy with pride for him. Nick’s is trying to control his power, but every attempt ends with a bigger failure. But when Cookie and Martina go to a party, that’s when things get a bit odd…
At that party Kids begin to go a little , umm, crazy. Like, capital C crazy. And then they get loose…
Throw in some “Jay plans” , trips to the woman’s bathroom, and a chicken. Suddenly, it becomes clear these kids are gonna have a Very. Long. Night. What could go wrong?
This book also shows some details into the kid’s futures.
Farshad might be gay. “Farshad felt a rush of emotion that he couldn’t quite define;a strange sort of longing.”
And Cookie might have a crush on Farshad! “For a moment Cookie found herself wondering what his hair would feel like and then immediately felt weird about wondering such a thing.”
Quotes:
“I think they want to murder everyone. You’re not special.”
“The three were panting like dogs, their bodies coiled as if ready to strike, and their eyes… the whites of their eyes had turned blood red”
“Oh Nono no - the last time I followed one of your suggestions I ended getting hunted by a bloodthirsty mob and got stuck in a minivan with a shrieking weirdo who knew nothing and was no help at all. No more Jay Plans!”

This was really fun. She seems to have totally dropped the bit about the racist Amish guy that bothered me in the last book. (Interestingly, she decided to deal with racism in general, it just didn't come up again with this particular guy. It's like she knew she needed to do *something*.) The magic was amusing, involving teleporting with a chicken, the plot had a clearer arc than the last book, and I liked seeing the characters grow to appreciate each other and become friends.

5 stars for the entertaining story, 1 star for the irritating character voices. I read #1, listened to 2 and 3, wish I’d read all 3.

I’ve never thought I’d be hurt “physically” by an audiobook in my life! I don’t even know how I survived 3 books with the same story teller. Jay’s voice is equivalent to a million constipated bird picking at my eardrums. The story would be acceptable if it were in a single book. And considering it gave me permanent ear damage, not at ALL worth it

Disappointing that these three do not function as single books. Cannot be read or recommended alone.
I did not like some of the stereotyping/flat characters and thought the way the action ramped up was forced and dumb, but I’m not a teenager who likes that as humor. My teen thought the series was okay, but doesn’t recommend.

thank you audible stories for allowing us to stream for free during the pandemic.
It's satisfying enough conclusion. It was fun to see the kids expand their powers, and want to do good. It is funny that once they finally become a team it's when it is over

I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again; ✨stunning✨!

This book series is just absolutely fantastic! I absolutely loved the direction that this series decided to go in and the way that it was concluded was absolutely stunning! The ending was just perfect and left me with the warm fuzzies and I was so happy!

The characters and their development in this instalment were impeccable and I loved the way that they all interacted with each other and how we got to learn more about each one of them!

And, once again, this book did not shy away from sensitive topics and instead tackled them head on! We got mega discussions about racism and how your words can still hurt, even if you don’t mean for them too, which was just a fantastic message for the readers!

Their abilities were still so fun to read about and the way that they all learnt to deal with them was so fun to read.

The humour was also on point in this book once again and made it so fun to read! I absolutely loved it!

Also, just to note that I once again listed Ed to the audiobook of this one and the narrator did an absolutely fantastic job!
