Jasper is the president of the Northern Grizzlies MC and finds Emma badly wounded on the side of the road. Choosing to help her, he realizes how much affection and possessiveness she stirs in him. Emma is running and accepts Jasper's help and the protection of his MC but she isn't planning on sticking around.
Jasper sets out to prove that he's worth taking a chance on and will slay all her demons. Emma is unsure of her future and whether she can trust herself and the biker that saved her life. Jasper's touch is safety and his love caring. When her past comes back to haunt her, will these two survive?
Jasper was all growly alpha male in the best ways. MC's come with a past but once he saw Emma, his entire world shifted and she was the center of it. He was violent when he needed to be and loving and caring with his Emma. I really liked his character.
Emma, despite what she's been through, was a little harder to like. I thought she was crueler than she needed to be in regard to their relationship. I needed her to grovel a little more to be back in Jasper's good graces. Her back and forth drove me crazy. I prefer a FMC that's more sure of herself. However, I am willing to give her a small pass because of the trauma she endured.
This MC romance was action packed, violent, emotional, steamy and comes with triggers but definitely worth the read if you're into MC romances.

Lord Baby Jesus....thank you for MC book series! This tired mama loves to tuck into a steamy little story about sexy bikers after a grueling day.
I stumbled upon this book while browsing Kindle Unlimited recommendations based on my book history.
Jasper- lean and sexy president of the Northern Grizzlies MC finds a woman badly bleeding on the side of the road. Lo and behold she turns out to be smoking hot (duh) and in need of rescuing. Jasper, along with his MC brethren take in Emma and go around being badass and awesome.
Fun story- perfect for a fun read by the pool this summer.

Loving this series....
I’m not usually into MC type books but this series is different ...
They have have most the elements that make a MC but compared to all the others I’ve seen, these guys aren’t choir boys by any means,heck that’s even one I’d Emma’s thoughts at one point but but soo far I’ve read Charlie ( the 4th book ) and bit Jasper but they aren’t nearly as dark or gritty as the others I’ve seen and I love how once one or two ;) of these guys see the woman they want no other woman exists for them ....
These guys might be a lot of things but they have their own moral code and they aren’t cheaters....
I love that ...
I’m funny when it comes to cheating, once the H sees his h,I don’t wanna read about him with anyone else...
I mean why would I ?

I was reading one series and I was totally turned off by this guys behavior, he was wanting his MC brothers lil sister but she was still in high school but the moment she turned 18 he wanted to claim her supposedly for his own but,buuut since he couldn’t have her at the moment he was sticking his wick in every skanky hole he could find and the sorry hypocrite was severely ticked off she had the nerve to date a boy she went to school with because she knew he wasn’t faithful to her..
To me that was such a WTF moment.....
If he wanted her soo bad and loved her he would be out whoring around,I couldn’t read about her eventually dropping her sweet high school bf ( who had become a probie at the same MC for that faithless manwhore) ( eeeeeeeewwwww)...
I don’t think I could handle MC life but I’d dearly love to know the love of a man like Jake and Connell or Jasper would be like ...
That kinda devotion and caring ,Yes please!
Gotta say,I lean more towards Jake and Conall because a M/F/M ménage if a huge fantasy of mine...
Off to read Flint and then Gunner and can’t wait for more ;)

This was a typical MC book with typical main characters. My overwhelming feeling though was that this was an instalove story that bugged me because Emma was in no position to know her own emotions at the time that Jasper kidnaps and coerces her to stay with him.
I marked this up because although it was very typical, it did surprise me a time or two and I liked that it did.

Jasper didn't know what hit him that day on the side of the road. As President of the Northern Grizzlies MC, he already had a lot on his plate. A obviously beaten young woman and a broken down car were all that it took to change his life. He will do whatever it takes to keep Emma by his side and in his bed. Emma was running from a horribly abusive situation with nowhere to go. She can't believe that Jasper is for real so she keeps trying to run. When she finally succeeds, she knows it was a horrible mistake. Now she will have to try to find her way back to Jasper's arms and show him that her love is real.
Holy cow, I am in LOVE! Jasper is a wonderful addition to my MC romance collection which keeps growing by the day. I finished Jasper and immediately bought all the rest of the Northern Grizzlies MC series, it is that good! Jasper is a sweet guy but he gets a bit of tunnel vision when it comes to Emma. He wants her so bad, can see their future spread out before him. But she is coming from a very bad marriage, so horrible that she cannot trust herself. Jasper can't see that she needs to take a breath and slow down. She is wildly attracted to him but she doesn't feel like she can trust anything at this point. When she realizes that she made a huge mistake in leaving, she jumps at the chance to get back to him. Loved every single moment spent within the pages of this book, Jasper earned 6 stars from this happy reviewer!!

Motorcycles and mayhem
This story out the characters as a whole into perspective since the 3rd book in the series was the first read. I can’t say I blame the author, Gunner’s story was just - wow. Not to take away from Jasper and Em. The characters are so well developed and I like insight since these characters were in Gunner’s story as well. Yes there is the hard topic and overcoming it, yes there is some violence-and yes there are some steamy fan yourself moments that do not disappoint. Worth the read!!

As president of the Northern Grizzlies MC Jasper is a hard man, but Emma brings out all those protective instincts. Emma is broken and thinks she would never be good enough for a good man like Jasper... a man she is putting in danger just by being around...your going to love this one with twist and turns you didn't see coming.

Jasper is a solid, likeable character. The two main characters have steady growth through out the story. This is an MC club, but the way this story goes is quite beautiful. Once he figures out whats holding her back, the he moves her forward is quite lovely. There is also the action of rivalry between MCs.

I have read and reread this wonderful love story about Jasper and Emma. She was sexually and physically abuse by her preacher husband. She escaped and found by the roadside by Jasper and Gunner. Jasper declares his faithfulness and love to Emma. He wants to start a family with Emma. I was happy that Jasper and his MC club got rid of her horrible husband. Love the happy ending of this novel.

I absolutely love the two books I've read so far by this author. She shows alote of passion. I love how the bikers protect everyone even though their not blood and would protect their woman even if it costs them their lives. And what's not to love about a alpha biker. Would definitely recommend you read these.

Great action packed!! Both are polar opposites and the attraction is off the charts!! She's been through literal shell and I cried when the full details cam out..he is her protector and the mc guys were amazing! Can't wait for the rest!

Well this is an author I will definitely be following ! Really enjoyed this book, not wishy washy, pulled me in, totally connected with the characters and cared about the club. Now onto the next book in the series.

Full of clichés but not bad. It was a real easy read with not too much drama. Jasper is definitely a Superman to recover that fast from being shot in the head.

Wow
OK I read ALOT of MC romance. And I was pleasantly surprised. This story sucked me in and hung onto me thru out. I really can't wait for more. And as much as it was an accident, I am hitting up Gunner asap!

New author for me. There were a lot of things I liked about this book, but then there were things that I didn't. I think it had the potential to be rated much higher. I read lots of MC romances and I love the ones that just flow and feel somewhat realistic. I don't like to read about a MC where some of the characters come across as refined gentlemen who fit into the upper class. I guess I like reality to a certain degree with characters placed in a mostly criminal environment and who are usually rough men and not prisses. This is a silly little thing for me to say but I rolled my eyes at the term "girlies" used for the club whores. The second part of the book flowed much better. I did decide to move on and read book 2 because like I said, the bones of this story was good.

Enjoyable read
It was a quick read with a few steamy parts that kept you interested. If you're all about insta-love this book is for you. It had a bit of spelling errors but not so much that you got confused.

Wonderful first book in a series.
I loved the story line and the wonderful characters in this book. Harper and Emma have a few issues between them that have to be overcome but they can do it. They over come the physical and mental abuse Emma's husband has tried to destroy her with . I love the way Jasper automatically decides he will protect Emma and that he loves her and feels this to his soul. Wonderful characters and writing.

Emma bless her heart, my heart broke for her.. There is an instant connection between Jasper and Emma ... Jasper is determined to protect her at all costs ... She becomes his world instantly .. The only part I didn’t like was how it left you hanging before the epilogue... I wanted more !!!
