This is a must-read book! It's a good book for any age, whether you're a tween, teen or an adult.

Here are some things that stood out to me:

Excuses allow us the opportunity and convenience to have this comfortable. little safety net of failure.

You can smash excuses by having a zero-tolerance, no excuses, no-matter what mindset.

Why do so many of us put limitations on ourselves?

If you want want successful people have, you need to do what successful people do -and sometimes more.

PMA = Positive Mental Attitude

Comfortable doesn't grow, comfortable doesn't achieve, comfortable never wins.

The purpose of life is to find your gift. The meaning of life is to give it away.

You must follow your heart. You need to follow your passion. And then (the most important part) you need to work it like your livelihood depends on it, because it just might. Follow your dreams.

Dreams do come true if you fight for them. If you nurture them. If you take action for them. If you create opportunities for them to come to life. Dreams do come true if you start by visualization.

You buy that car, to get to that job, to leave that house that you are paying for that you can't be at because you're at your job, which pays for your car, that gets you to that job, which pays for that house that is empty while you're at that job.

I remained too much inside my head and ended up losing my mind. - Edgar Allen Poe

I'm proud of my heart. It's been played, stabbed, cheated. burned and broken, but somehow it still works. - Unknown

Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree it will live its life believing that it is stupid. - Albert Einstein

I could have finished this listen long before I did, but I was purposely trying to make it last. To use it as added fuel whenever I was feeling stuck or down… Loved this book, grateful for his perspective! Thanks, Marc!
