Dangers continue even as the crew of soldiers, scientists, and brilliant teens quantum leap to the space nearby Titan. Captain Drake had his own agenda, and it doesn’t include Colonel Lancaster, or the children being alive for much longer. Fortunately, the scientists and children are a formidable group to go against. The attempted takeover is stopped with only one death.
When Scarlett lands the ship on the north pole near the methane lake, they discover several sentient life forms. In short time, they learn there’s a ship called the Death Star mining minerals on the outer rings of Saturn and even more shocking—that Jupiter is not a planet, but an ‘eye in the sky’ watching over the mining interests of a superior sentient planet.
Liza lives in Denville, NJ with her dog Jess. They hike in fabulous woods every day, rain or shine, sleet or snow. Having an adventurous nature, she learned to fly small cessnas in NJ, hang glide in New Zealand, kayak in Pennsylvania, ski in New York, scuba dive with great white sharks in Australia, dig up dinosaur bones in Montana, sky dive in Indiana, and raft a class four river in Tasmania. She’s an avid gardener, amateur photographer and dabbler in watercolors. Yet through her entire life, her first love has and always will be writing novels. She loves to create interesting characters, set them loose, and scribe what happens.
Mankind. Hope rests with seven scientists and twenty two brilliant teenagers. This novel has everything from telepathic aliens to demons. An entertaining read
Now on their new planet and away from the people who were sabotaging them, the colonists of Titan should be safe, but new dangers await.
From the amazing mind of Liza O'Connor, Arrival Titan carries on the story of a group of brilliant teenagers and outstanding scientists who must not only survive on a new planet but reproduce in order to keep the human race alive.
Filled with humor and action, Ms. O'Connor tells the story of guts and determination, in the face of insurmountable odds. The colonists are what is best in the human race. I just wish we had more of them here on Earth today to help with our own problems.
For fans of science fiction and amazing storytelling, Arrival Titan will keep you up reading into the wee hours. It's a must.
I really loved Destination Titan. It was original and the characters felt 3 dimensional. This one jumped pov so much that I couldn't feel much for any one of them. Things were too easy for them in the beginning of the book that it was boring. Any tiny bit of conflict wasn't explored it was handled within a few paragraphs. Lucky that the spiders and moths on Titan are telepathic and the settlers had zero issues with them. And they can help build exactly what is needed in a day.
I rounded up to 3 stars because I am sure the author took a lot of time to research the scientific aspects of the book and I respect that.
