Adapting Genetics: Quantal Evolution After Natural Selection - Surviving The Changes To Come

Rate this book
Genetics and evolution, as taught for a century, imply that survival is a lottery dependent upon random errors in copying the genome. Quantal evolution refers to the partitioning of the genome to protect critical regulatory DNA sequences, including during the successive retroviral epidem-ics which defined human ancestors. Trial and error selected pre-tested combinations which are faithfully inherited thereby allowing the new species to adapt by changing gears in the absence of natural selection or mutations. Heterozygous polymorphisms interact polymorphically, thereby creating additional options. There are clear implications for forensics, livestock selection and transplantation inter alia. Anamnestic evolution ensures individuality, diversity, protection from repeat epidemics and survival in the future.
