Samantha McLemore longed to know where she came from; whom she belonged to. Did she have a family? Siblings? What were her parents like? All the questions any child being raised in another family would ask. Of course, Samantha tried to keep moving forward in her life; going to school, earning a degree, attending counseling to deal with the mixed emotions she had about actually finding the people who gave her away. Yet, she felt disconnected; and because of that, struggled to connect, even with the man who claimed to love her. Despite all the challenges, Samantha never stopped. She never gave up the search to find out who she really was.

My Thoughts...
Sweet story of how Samantha gets her wish and that was finding her birth mother. Along with this Sam was also able to meet one fantastic boss Lance who became so much more being their for her through the thick and the thin and in the end winning her love.
This book was just wonderful. I love how Lance romanced Samantha and won her over even though she really didn’t want a new man in her life. He treated her like the beautiful woman that she is. I love this book it was just simply romantic and it touched my heart. Great job on to the next book...
It was love at first sight when Lance first saw Samantha. He was instantly attracted to her and continued to low key pursue her when she first shot him down. She eventually agreed to go on a non-date with him and she still tried to push him away. Samantha dealing with her insecurities about her birth mother threw herself at him but he wouldn't go there in her vulnerable state. He showed her that she was loveable.
The ending was rushed. I know it's not supposed to be a long story but I wish we were able to see Samantha meet Cecil and sisters... With Lance going with her. This is a prequel, I know, but it was done with a cliffhanger and the next book starts with the next sister. I may read that one to see if it closes the first book out. Other than that, strong and interesting storyline
I am so loving this series! Samantha and Lance had a quick coming together romance. He being the CEO of Preston Industries, her just a mailroom clerk! This story let's you know dreams do come true! So many more sister's to read about, I can hardly wait! Keep writing Celeste, I'll keep reading. A few grammatical errors but a great read!
Excellent read, I enjoyed the characters and storyline. Samantha had some issues due to her adoption. In the midst of her quest to discover her biological parents, she found love with Lance. Regardless to socioeconomic status, he was drawn to Samantha and their romance blossomed.
This was just the sweet love story I needed two people with a little brokenness willing to help each other heal. Not to mention that they both had a friend that knew them well enough to call them out when needed. I’m looking forward to reading the rest of the book in this series
A beautiful pick me up and space holder until we meet the other Moore women! This is one series that is going to have me starry eyed and eagerly awaiting each new book. Kudos Celeste Granger!
I read this out of order with the first book but it was still worth reading regardless of the order. Samantha is so deserving of love and I’m glad she found it in Lance. I also loved the moment between her and Felicia when they first met. Great story!
I enjoyed reading this book! It was so good that I couldn't put my kindle down! I enjoyed the storyline and the chemistry between Samantha and Lance! This book brought out all of my emotions! Such an awesome book!
Glad Sam finally let someone in but more importantly a man who deserves it. Glad I got the chance to see how that situation ties in with the rest of the series. Great read
I have read all the Moore sister books and they are good reads. I would suggest to Celeste Granger that she use more pronouns through out the book instead of repeating the characters name so frequently. It becomes redundant.
So, I had completed all the Moore sisters stories and I wanted to know Sam's story. I am so glad I did! Lance was a gentleman and exactly what Sam needed! Read the book Beloved, you will enjoy it!
Hmmm, I guess when you know it loves you don't have to take long to make it know. Great read. Short but still, a great read and wonderful way to be introduced in the Moore family.
Samantha has finally found who her parents are and she also found someone to love as well as be loved! I kind of read this one last but the story was so well written that I didn't get lost or confused! Excellent writing skills and a great series!
Nice read. Glad Sam was able to move past her hurt to find true love. Loved how Lance was so understanding and treated Sam the way she needed to be treated.
Came across b this author while looking for books by another author. Truly enjoyed this story! Will continue on to the series and other stories by this author.
I really enjoyed this book. It kept me interested and it was refreshing to read a book with minimal drama. I loved the characters, everyone needs a Lance Preston.
