This was much heavier on the erotic scenes than the romance I usually pick up, but I read it for a book club and it ended up being a pleasant surprise. Yes, it is VERY steamy, but it also has pretty excellent character and relationship development, where the sex is a significant part of bringing the couple together and helping them both work through their trauma.
Michelle is a freelance writer, asked to take over writing an article about how women can have multiple orgasms. For research, she is to interview Jake- a male prostitute known for being able to cause them. They have pretty instant chemistry but what starts as her exploring a new side of herself and him scratching an itch turns into a whole lot more and will resurface the traumatic pasts they are both hiding. I ended up really liking this. It is pretty tropey and not all of the plot elements make complete sense, but I didn't really mind because I was enjoying the romance and especially Michelle's character arc.
Note that there is a big content warning for flashbacks and discussions of sex abuse by a family member when she was a teenager, along with related PTSD symptoms. The story uses BDSM elements as a way to work through trauma and does an excellent job with consent through most of the book.

This is an author who knows how to put a spellbinding story together with intriguing characters and, oh yeah, they do end up having a lot of hot sex.
Our two protagonists have tortured pasts that are hinted at, with little bits and pieces dropped like bread crumbs throughout the early chapters. We've got Michelle Nestor, a talented writer without much experience with men. She usually wears dark, shapeless clothes. And we've got Jake King, a very high-dollar male prostitute who really knows his way around a woman's body. Michelle gets a career-making opportunity to put together an article about multiple orgasms for an elite woman's magazine. (Think Cosmopolitan.) She's given Jake's contact information to set up an interview for her research on the subject.
The chemistry between the two is pretty steamy right away, and natch, it only gets steamier as the book goes on. She's got issues. He's got issues. She needs information for this article, and he's willing to provide it... and demonstrate.
The sexual scenes are really well done, but not any more so than the rest of the book. I'm liking this author a lot.

I really enjoyed Sex Coach by MS Parker. Jake is an escort...sex is his livelihood. But he is so much more than that. MS fleshes out his past and his personality and his character in such a great way. His connection to journalist Michelle Nestor is perhaps surprising, but I know that in real life, sometimes the best connections you have are to people you never expected to connect with. Michelle helps herself gain more confidence in her writing and in her own life with the help of very sexy Jake. And Jake is the kind of man most women would love to have (not counting the fact that his abilities in the bedroom are steamy beyond anything) because he truly is a loving, compassionate person and will do what he has to to protect those he cares about. There is also a little mystery to this story that keeps you turning (flipping?) the page.

Sex Coach by MS Parker is a sexy, hot, and sizzling read!!! This is Michelle and Jake’s story. The story is told in dual POV— Michelle and Jake have this instant chemistry, connection that makes their story interesting and their love story is one that will not disappoint. The passion is erotic and steamy—I didn’t expect anything less from the King Of O*g*nisms! There are some plot twists and turns and the ending was one that I very much enjoyed reading.

I have read other books by Ms. Parker she always leaves you wanting more of the sex and lust escapades from her books.
In this book we have Michelle, who is a writer, for some woman's magazines. She has a hundred or so articles under her belt. Her Aunt Blair calls her for a favor, asking if she can work on an article another well known author was working on. However, the other author was in a major car wreck and will be unable to finish the article. Michelle isn't too sure about it, but, she does say yes.
Jake is a gigolo, an escort, someone who is paid to have sex with woman. When he got out of prison all he could find was jobs that paid under the table. Woman started noticing him, and told him they wouldn't mind paying him to show them a good time. So, he started working as a gigolo. He's made a ton of money, although where he lives doesn't show he has any money at all. His clothes state he has money yes, but, his small one bedroom apartment is hardly furnished. Jake knows he doesn't have long in this business, but, he's been saving his money for his future, for his next adventure.
Jake & Michelle agree to meet for the article she's writing about him. However, they start something neither of them are expecting, a relationship is more than either of them want. However, once they are apart from each other, all they can do is think of one another. They can't be apart from each other more than a few days.
Jake has gotten Michelle to open up to him about what happened to her as a teenager. Michelle has hardly trusted anyone with this information. But, she can see inside people and knows who she can and can't trust. She knows Jake is a good man, even though he is doing something bad with his life. Michelle has been stuck inside herself for so many years she's not sure how to open up and live freely. But, being with Jake has helped her understand and open up, and how to live again.
Will Jake be able to leave his life and his clients? Will he and Michelle be able to have a normal relationship?

Jake agrees to do the interview, but feels he needs to be discreet and completely anonymous. Their attraction is undeniable and while Jake prefers to keep his distance with anything and everything, he can’t stop thinking about Michelle. A misunderstanding leads Jake to believe Michelle leaked some personal information for gain. Obstacles are faced and matters and hearts are broken.
I really enjoyed this book and how Jake and Michelle evolved in their relationship. I recommend this book. Complete stand-alone with no cliffy.

Great read!
I loved this book. M.S. Parker has always kept me glued to the pages of her books. This one is no different. The main characters are very well developed and the storyline keeps you interested. There is also some suspense written in this book which makes it all the more a great read. The bonus series is also a nice addition.
CASUAL ENCOUNTER (Bonus Series)
What a great series! Absolutely loved it. Cade is so dominant and sexy that you are completely drawn into the book. What starts out as an arrangement between Cade and Aubree slowly turns into something more between them. When their arrangements suddenly comes to an end they both realize they both devastated but won't admit to each other how they feel. Will love prevail in the end?
The storyline is great and keeps you glued to the pages and the characters are well developed. I have not read a bad book my this author yet. They are a quick and easy read and will keep your mind occupied for hours.
There are 2 additional books which I did not read since they are both Volume 1 to 2 additional series.

This book was good but there were parts where I got kind of board but otherwise pretty good and kept me guessing what Jake was going to do next. This was a very sexy ready and the back stories threw me for a loop. Like wow I kept reading because I could relate a lot of with was going on with the main character. So this kind of hit home for me

At times funny, at times sad, but always sexy, this book has it all. Add in a couple of secrets and some politics and what more could you ask for? Jake may be a sex god and the King of multiple orgasms, but he is so much more and he frees Michelle from the fear that has consumed her since she was assaulted by her uncle. Often humorous and always passionate Michelle is also helped by her Aunt Blair, who I am sure every reader wishes was their aunt. A very satisfying read and one I enjoyed very much.

I just finished reading this book by M.S. Parker. I couldn’t put it down and read it nonstop as my Black Friday treat.
The fear and anxiety in the life of Michelle was hard to read as I have been down that path. The best part of the book is when Michelle meets Jake at the bar. It funny yet tantalizing when he touches her arm. From there , their relationship begins and the sec is frequent and may I say she is one lucky girl. Loved this book and highly recommend it.

Well the name alone should tell you the book has lots of sex. Scorching hot sex. It’s also about getting over bad things that were done to you. Standing up for yourself and not letting others treat you badly. There are angsty times and funny times. Overall this was a very good book.

Michelle and Jake - 5 Stars
Like most of Ms. Parker's work, this was a very interesting storyline that makes you stop and think. With Jake being a gigolo that she has to interview for an article, we know that things are going to get spicy! When secrets are revealed by each, it's enough to break your heart and give you insight into what makes them the way they are. There were several twists and turns that took me by surprise, but all in all, I was VERY happy with the way this story played out. Definitely well worth the time and money to purchase it and spend your weekend getting to know these amazing characters.

Ummmmm 🤔I’m trying to decide on my stance on this book. This was my first time reading a book by this author and I have to say by the time I reached the end. I felt I must’ve overlooked some details or they were omitted. Like when did Michelle’s parents become involved in politics?! When was that mentioned?
Some parts of the book were disconnected to me. I get the author wanted to add mor depth to the characters, but for me it read like a “D list” cheesy movie. Again not a great read! It was just ok. Not soon into the book I found myself not really caring about the characters- which is bad.

Chemistry - Jake, a prostitute and Michelle, a freelance writer, have a megaton of it. Their story is funny, it's sweet, it's emotional and it's super, super steamy. The writing is great. I felt connected to these characters and I literally could not put this book down, that's how good it is. Sex Coach is my favorite book by M.S. Parker. I loved it.

Wow that amazing story that has big O’s and amazing twists that will have you falling in love with the story.. it is told in a POV of both sides and is a fantastic read that is worth every word from the beginning to the end..

There is Jake who is an escort. He makes his money from sex but he definitely has a personality that is infectious. Then there is Michelle who is a journalist tasked with writing an article on having multiple orgasms and she has never had one. The connection they have is surprising and this book give gigolo a new meaning. This book is also steamy hot and has some mystery that keeps you reading. Good character development and M.S. Parker makes the story work.

Jake and Michelle are brought together in an interview. She is writing a story on orgasms and he is an escort and an expert in orgasms. In reality, she has never had an orgasm but is not admitting that. The story is told from a dual point of view which is great. A good read that is well written with captivating characters. Wow this book blew my mind! Faced with the new opportunity to write for Aunt the main character has to face a difficult task of interviewing a male gigolo. All the plot twists keep me on edge and never bowing what would come next. This book is hot, full of surprises and will keep you enraptured till the last page.

I am giving this five stars for originality. One stars for lack of editing. What happened M.S. Parker? You are not normally this messy.
That said, the storyline was great. Enjoyed the characters and their back history. Those who are reading this, read the book. Just turn a blind eye to the misspelled words and grammar.

An assignment has never been so good... Jake really puts a lot of work and effort into helping the story feel real for Michelle, and good thing he does because he brings her back to life. With him Michelle explores all details of enjoying sex for the first time and it turns out that a woman like her is just what he needed to help him heal and recognize his own value. And all the learning curve Michelle goes through is hot hot hot! This hot and rough but gentle guy brings a vixen out of her shell. But it's not just the sexy in it, another very good part about this book is that it touches some deep issues that are not just mentioned in passing. They are actually work with at the turn of each page. This book has fun and context. You can never go wrong with a book with some meat in it.

Oh my word....this book was so hot, I needed to stop reading to cool down. I always love a read by MS Parker, but this book I FLOVED beyond words.
This book is all about Jake aka the King of Multiple Orgasms and Michelle the women who is given the chance to meet The King to write a story for a magazine about satisfying women. This initial meeting between Michelle and Jake changes the direction of both their lives.
Oh lord, this is not much more to say about this book other than it is hotter than H#$% and is worth every second that it takes to read it, a word of advice make sure your partner is near by after reading as you will need them.
