Quick and Easy is the second book in The Quick Billionaire series by Whitley Cox. It's a short, steamy second chance romance you can read when you're low on time or just want something quick and hot between longer reads. If you enjoyed book 1, Quick and Dirty, I think you'll be happy with the ending. I was, and it made me curious as to what's going to happen in future books.

I recommend this to Whitley Cox fans and readers looking for something light on page count and heavy on heat.

Heather (Hettie) is grieving the loss of her father at their family's Puerto Rican restaurant when she sees her first love, the boy who broke her heart 10 years ago. She's furious but curiously intrigued too. When Gavin begs for a second chance, Hettie figures she can get a quick and easy night of breakup sex out of him, it's fun and naughty but her heart is hardened against his charm. She's only in it for the sex, or so she thinks.

I liked Quick & Easy. It's a super sexy and sweet bit of insta (or still) love. Not a lot of character and relationship development, but I liked both Heather and Gavin and was glad they got their second chance. The fact that it is part of the Quick Billionaires series is a plus, what with cameos by Tate and Parker (Quick & Dirty) and to see a glimpse of the next brother in their family, Warren. Hopefully their sister will make an appearance soon.

Quick and Easy is the second book in the Quick Billionaires series and even though this is a expeditious read, this book doesn't lack substance. This story is a second chance romance surrounding Gavin and Hettie. Their story is about making mistakes when you are younger and waking up 10 years later and realizing that the only person who ever made you happy, you let slip through your fingers. Hettie was left broken hearted and feeling like she had no real closure but what she doesn't realize is that Gavin broke his own heart. Gavin doesn't want closure he wants reclamation but can he convince his Hettie that this was their destiny. This second book in the series takes you on a rapid journey full of highly charged emotions and truths. As usual Whitley Cox does not disappoint as this lady knows how to bring the heat, the steam and the sexy to her stories and Quick and Easy gives us that and more.

And that's exactly what Gavin is dirty and his ex love of his life is if not more dirty. Anyone who wants short coffee read will enjoy it.

Is there a better way to get over, & get even, with an Ex than to have HOT, Sweaty, maybe angry, but certainly explosive & Orgasmic, Break-Up Se*?! Well she certainly doesn't think so when she invites hers over!! Unfortunately, he's got another agenda on his mind... Needless to say, it's not revenge, a one night stand, one & done, or letting her go in any way!! Oh, No! He's playing for keeps, & after spending a night rocking her world, he's not walking away!! It's definitely not going to be "Quick & Easy" if he's in charge ;)
I love a short read that offers the perfect escape after everything's done, but I've only got a while before bed... or maybe it's a quick, mindless read I can listen to while riding the bus, doing chores, crafting... you get the point!! This book is perfect!! It's a great feel good read for those Calgon moments... absolutely wonderful!
I was gifted an ARC of Whitley Cox's "Quick & Easy" via Booksprout; however, I'm gladly recommending it based upon its own merits. I enjoyed this book as this short story is on par, & I'll look forward to more opportunities to read Whitley's work in the future. The beginning of "Quick and Easy" was great. Even though it began with a memorial service, I loved being able to feel such a strong emotional draw to the story so quickly. There was the usual break-up with unresolved feelings and sexual tension that is typical of Whitley Cox, but the way it was introduced was different than Whitley's other books.
That being said, I was disappointed with the progression of the story, and how it ended. There was a space of time that was skipped between the last full chapter and the epilogue, and I would have liked to know more of what happened during that time. The ending was very abrupt. The epilogue started to build up the excitement, then it just cut off. It was pretty easy to predict how "Quick and Easy" was going to end. That isn't necessarily a bad thing, but I feel like the story was missing something to tie it all together. There's nothing wrong with a shorter book. Word count doesn't always determine whether or not a book is going to be enjoyable, but I think extending "Quick and Easy" by a few chapters would have helped a great deal.

I really hope that there will be a sequel to "Quick and Easy"! Whitley Cox did a wonderful job of building Hettie and Garrett as characters. Both of their personalities jumped off the pages, and it is easy to imagine them being real people. Since this book was so short, I'm sure that I'm not the only one who would be thrilled to have the story continued!

Heather is at her father's funeral and then wanders back to her family restaurant. Her mother and aunts put together a memorial party. It was now just Heather and her mother. In the midst of the party she spots him in the back and she couldn't believe he was standing there until they caught each other's eyes. Gavin couldn't help but want to be close to Heather and tell her what happened so many years ago. As she is leaving the party Gavin pulls her and tells her he has to speak to her. Heather tells him to follow her to her house. Gavin proceeds to tell her what has happened in his life and the happiest time was when he was with her. Gavin is at Heathers house he wanted her badly but knew it might take him awhile to convince her. So much had changed in 10 years especially she asked him to tie her to her bed. Gavin was taken back about how much Heather had changed in 10 years especially when it came to sex. Heather and Gavin spend the night together as he is remembering about how they the night before he left. Heather kicks Gavin out of her house especially when he tells her he wants to start over. Will Heather ever forgive Gavin or was he heart still too broken?

This is a short and sweet second chance romance novella. Gavin was a wild child from a dysfunctional family who was lucky to be taken in by Heather’s family to get him on the straight and narrow. As the two grew up together, they started dating until it was time for Gavin to go to college. Being a young man about to embark on the next phase of his life, he broke up with Heather to ensure he would have the full college experience and not worry about having a girlfriend. Heather was devastated and made the decision to never put her heart on the line for another man again. Ten years later, Heather’s father passes away and Gavin shows up at the funeral. He has finally realized that Heather is the only one for him and he is going to do everything in his power to win her back. Heather sees Gavin and decides to get what she should have had all those years ago, breakup sex. Can Heather keep her feelings in check and kick Gavin to the curb after she gets what she wants or will she be able to forgive him and let him back into her life?

When Gavin returned after a ten year absence Hettie couldn’t believe her eyes. Gavin had returned home for Hettie’s Dad’s funeral , which was in actuality a celebration of his life. Last time Hettie spoke to .Gavin he was breaking up with her. Rather than breaking up with Hettie in person, Gavin called from NYU breaking up with Seattle based Hettie. Anyone reads my reviews of this author’s books know that I love the men she writes, and Gavin is no exception. Ms. Cox’s books are hero driven and it’s a refreshing change. Hettie was no longer the sweet young girl he deflowered, in fact she’s the opposite. When they were in her bed I loved when she informed Gavin that “the restraints are underneath”. We also learn that Gavin is Tate’s (Quick and Dirty) half brother. Gavin wants Hettie back, for him it’s always been Hettie. .For once the ball is in Hettie’s court.

This is the second book in the Quick Billionaire series, and just like the first book, this is a wonderful read. Being a novella, I devoured this book in around an hour, and whilst it is a quick read, the book had plenty of substance.
This is a second chance at love story for Heather and Gavin. He broke her heart ten years ago, but she has always been the love of his life. He just had to convince Heather that he was worth taking a chance on again.
This book can be read as a standalone, but there is a connection to book one and the subsequent books also, so I do recommend reading them in order.
Whitley has written another sexy book that is not only scorching hot, but with wonderful characters.
Looking forward to Warren's book next.

Super quick but super good. Heather and Gavin were high school sweethearts but he broke her heart when he dumped her to play the field while in college. Ten years have passed but when the two reunite at her father’s celebration of life the sparks are still there. Needing to talk to her and explain why he did what he did leads them to a night of passion which opens the door to a future together. Whitney Cox packs a huge amount of tears, joy, passion and hot sex in a small storyline, but do not judge this book by length because it certainly packs a punch. With great characters and a storyline that was an awesome second chance romance, this book should not be missed.

Gavin broke up with Heather (Hettie) over ten years ago. Now, he is in town to attend her father's funeral and win Heather back. Will Heather forgive Gavin for the way he broke up and forgot about her or will she give him a second chance? Order this book and find out. There is some sexy talk and great sex scene. I hope you enjoy this cute shirt book as much as I did.

We also get a quick look into the lives of Gavin's brothers and who the next book will be written about....enjoy!

WOW!!! It was amazing!!! Yes, it's a quick read but it is packed with tension - emotional and sexual tension!!! It is definitely draws you in from the very beginning, which made me want to turn the pages faster. It's told from Heather and Gavin's POV so you definitely know what each one is thinking and feeling - HOT...very HOT!!! This added to the great character development of the story. Loved the story line and the characters but also loved that it mentioned characters from the first book too. Never disappointed with Whitley's books and this won't disappoint you either.

Gavin broke up with Heather ten years ago OVER THE PHONE, after he left for college and decided he wanted to sow his wild oats. Now he is back, to pay respects to her family because Heather's father, who was a mentor to him, has passed away. She just wants to get him out of her system once and for all. He just wants to get her back for good. The author paints a complete picture in a short story. Enjoyable, steamy read. 4.5 stars

Ten years ago, Gavin dumped Hettie over the phone and broke her heart. Now he's back, and he wants her back. He'll stop at nothing to get her back. Hettie refuses to have her heart broken again, but decides he at least owes her "break up sex". But can she have one night of sex and go about her life as if nothing had changed?

This was a quick read that is well written, a great story line that captivates you beginning to end, andhas wonderful characters. I am excited to read the next book in this series!

Omg it’s the perfect read. It’s the perfect couple. Gavin and Heather have history, lots of past history. A very complicated one and tragic loss brings them back to the same room together. You can see the spark between them the second her breath hitches. But what you don’t see is the twists in their lives that is coming. The roads followed and lessons learned. I loved this book! Whitley never disappoints!!

This is an emotional second chance read with Gavin ready to be 100% honest to get Heather back, their chemistry is hot! It is well written and the characters are strong throughout. This second chance romance story is absolutely perfect! It is a short story that is fast pace, enjoyable and an attention grabber. It is well written, the plot is well developed and exciting. The characters though they were apart for 10 years still have amazingly hot chemistry and their sex scenes are an explosive mess. Whenever Whitley Cox has a new book released you know your in for a treat!! I was lucky enough to receive an ARC of Quick & Easy and I gotta say although it was a quick read it flowed perfectly and the story had everything from start to finish. It had Gavin and Hettie's back story, their reunion, their issues, their resolution and happily ever after!! What more could you ask for and you can enjoy it all in an afternoon!!

This is an easy reading and quick reading novella. Although short, there is a lot of story packed in this one. It grabbed my attention from the beginning and I finished it in one sitting. It is a fantastic second chance romance. I loved Gavin and Heather. They were really relatable characters. I would definitely recommend reading this one.
