One wardrobe malfunction. Two lives forever changed.

Playing in a star-studded charity basketball game should be fun, and it is, until I literally go balls out to show up my arch nemesis. When I dive for the basketball and my junk slips out of my gym shorts, I know my life and career are over. There’s no way the network can keep my kids’ show on the air after I’ve exposed myself to millions of people. I don’t know how Andy, the new CEO, can go to bat for me with such passion. I also never anticipate how hot she looks in a pair of high heels.

Rafe’s dickslip has made my new job even more stressful. It’s hard enough being a woman in a man’s world without dealing with sex organs being publicly displayed when someone is representing the company. But he’s an asset to the network, not to mention hot as hell. I can barely keep my eyes off him or his crotch during our meetings. Defending him to the board puts my ass on the line as much as his, but it’s worth it. So is risking my job to fulfill the fantasies I’ve had about him since he first set foot in my office.

Things may have started out bad, but…
Some accidents have happy endings.

Rafe Boswell has an oopsy moment while on the basketball court for a charity game. And while the new CEO of the network Andy Mason didn’t catch the live sporting event, she makes sure to see the play by plays.

Given the premise and the characters, this had a lot of potential and it began with promise, but as it played out, it was a letdown.

For one, I was disappointed with the fact that while it starts out with a smart and accomplished non-virginal heroine in a role of power (something that’s hard to come by in the romance genre) she quickly makes ridiculous mistakes.
" Facepalm. I drop my face into my hand and sigh. No. Double facepalm. This calls for two.

She might have been talking about him but that’s exactly how I felt when it was obvious that Andy was going to let her libido ruin her career and reputation. Now had there actually been a build-up, weeks or months of them fighting their attraction where the reader could feel their sexual tension as they got to know each other, then I might have been able to root for her to take a chance…on love. But one of the issues this story suffers from is typical with lots of short books—development. The attraction is solely insta-lust.
What did I have with Rafe? Attraction…yes. Lust…definitely. But was there more there?

And then there’s Rafe. A paleontologist turned educational children’s television host, he should have been a fresh catch in the romance market’s tired sea of billionaires, rock stars, and motorcycle men. Not to mention there should have been some real ovary melting scenes there with his career. But nope, there was no swoon factor. The dude had no balls (no pun intended). The Munro thing was predictable, and later it made Rafe look like a real chump, not a sweet guy. In fact, Rafe lost major points with me over the whole “how he left things” debacle.

Readers looking for some chasing and wooing on the hero’s part will want to pass on this one.

Told via Andy and Rafe’s alternating first person POV, the chapters are missing name headings and the story ends at 82%. On a positive note, it is lighthearted and safe.

This is one of those random books that I have no idea how or when it landed on my kindle. Probably a newsletter freebie or something and honestly while looking for something short and sweet to read before bed I couldn't go past the title.

And to be honest it was short, hot and fun. And I am sure I am going to have to add the others in the series to my TBR.

Okay, without looking into what this book was about.. the title was what drew me in. It sounded like it was going to make me laugh - so, of course, I dove into it.

Right from the start, Dickslip had me laughing. It also gave me a fair share of eye rolling because of some certain sticky situations. However, it did also seem like this entire situation could have or has happened to anyone in that kind of business.

In this book, you will meet Andy and Rafe. Andy is the new CEO of the network Rafe works for and of course, she already knows what's she's up against. Being the only female in this CEO position, ever, it's hard to deal with the board (which is filled with all old ass men) who want nothing to do with her.

The moment an accident happens with Rafe, she knew that her job was on the line. Mostly because she didn't want to fire him - because it honestly made no sense to get rid of their #1 guy for the network (#guysarestupid). BUT it also didn't help one bit that they hooked up after that said meeting.

Of course, things kind of escalate a bit and they are both "let go" in a way. More like they were forced to resign.. but tomato.. potato? Either way, once they reunited and made them a thing - it was magical! I really wished this book a tad bit longer because I just loved them together.

I also really loved the whole karma thing at the end.

Oh My!!! This is Gwyn McNamee’s latest stellar release!!! It is a remarkable, refreshingly original, very fun, humorous, witty, and incredibly HOT, Romantic Comedy. I fell in love with the story and the characters right from the beginning and was invested in them and the outcome of their story. There was no way I was able to put the book down before I had red every single word. Ms. McNamee proves time and again what a brilliant author she is by delivering an enthralling read every single time, and in any genre! I am always excited to see/read what ever she produces, because she always exceeds my expectations- Every. Single. Time!
Ms. McNamee is one of my favourite authors and her stories are definitely on my one-click-it, don’t-even-have-to-read-the-blurb, see the cover, or know anything about it, list. She really should be on everyone’s must read list, because her work is always on point, her imagination knows no bounds and her writing skills are quite masterful. I cannot recommend her, or her work, highly enough!!
I really can’t wait to see what she does next.

Thank You, Ms. McNamee!

Dick Slip by Gwyn McNamee a five-star read that will have you slipping out. I have loved everything by this author I’ve read, this did not disappoint. It’s totally different to the Hawke Family series but it’s still just as good, it’s funny and sweet and hot all wrapped up in one great package. What starts as a tiny little accident (That’s not so tiny) leaves Rafe on a journey that he thinks is going to lead to him losing his job, but maybe it leads to so much more!! You need this book in your life, the author writes words that will make you smile as well as blush. This isn't your classic office romance its so so much more.

This book had me laughing from the start! I dont know where McNamee got the idea of having such a different wardrobe malfunction but I am glad she did. I enjoyed the chemistry between Andy and Rafe. It brought a different angle to the boss and employee relationship. Instead of the usually, girl sleeps with boy and finds out he is her boss we come across the expectation that Andy is a man. That is until Rafe walks into the office and finds a blonde bombshell looking at his crotch lol. I love how fierce Andrea was. Not only in the boardroom but also with Rafe. There was no beating around the bush but she took charge when it came to what she wanted. I am so glad there was a happy ending after all those scandalous headlines were leaked all over.

A dickslip by any other name....

Lol. This book was without a doubt a fun read. I guess I'm easily amused by dickslips but well, it's funny! Me and my childish sense of humor enjoyed the randy Dr. Boner and his "special helper."

With a happy ending and all, Dickslip makes for an entertaining and quick read!

Dickslip was a very hot and enjoyable read full of laughs and the steaminess that author Gwyn McNamee does so well.

This novella was just what the doctor ordered to help me move forward with reading. After having my heart broke numerous times by some very angsty reads, Dickslip was a breath of fresh air that let me just sit back, laugh, fan myself a few times, and simply enjoy a book.

Gwyn gets right to the point with our couple, Andy and Rafe. Instant attraction and lust get this couple hot under their collars and not even the threat of the forbidden can make them keep their hands to themselves.

This novella did not go where I expected and I loved it. It's hard to fit everything in when you have such few words to do it in but Gwyn did a great job telling this very funny yet steamy story.

"Dick Slip" by Gwyn McNamee is a hilarious and heartwarming rom-com that captures the essence of accidental romance and the chaos that follows a public mishap. The story begins with Rafe, a charismatic TV personality, whose life takes a mortifying turn when a wardrobe malfunction during a star-studded charity basketball game exposes him in a very literal sense. This incident not only jeopardizes his career as the beloved host of a kids' show but also thrusts him into the spotlight for all the wrong reasons.

Enter Andy, the determined and sharp new CEO of the network, who finds herself in the unenviable position of defending Rafe to the board. Her job is on the line as much as his, but there's an undeniable attraction simmering between them that complicates matters further. Andy's resolve to support Rafe stems from more than just professional duty; it's also driven by an unexpected and intense chemistry that sparks whenever they're together.

McNamee crafts a narrative filled with witty dialogue, endearing characters, and a plot that keeps the reader engaged from start to finish. Rafe's mortification and Andy's professional dilemma create a perfect storm of comedy and tension, making their interactions both entertaining and emotionally charged. The author deftly balances humor with heartfelt moments, ensuring that the story remains lighthearted without losing depth.

One of the strengths of "Dick Slip" is its character development. Rafe is more than just the victim of an embarrassing incident; he's portrayed as a genuinely good person struggling with the fallout of an unintended exposure. Andy, on the other hand, embodies the challenges faced by women in leadership roles, making her a relatable and empowering character. Their relationship evolves naturally, moving from awkward encounters to a deeper connection that feels authentic and rewarding.

McNamee's writing shines in her ability to turn a potentially cringeworthy premise into a charming and uplifting tale. The secondary characters add to the richness of the story, providing additional layers of humor and support that enhance the main plot. The author's use of vivid descriptions and clever scenarios ensures that readers are not only entertained but also invested in the outcome.

Overall, "Dick Slip" is a delightful read that combines romance, comedy, and a touch of drama in a way that feels fresh and engaging. Gwyn McNamee has crafted a story that is both laugh-out-loud funny and sweetly romantic, making it a perfect pick for fans of contemporary romance with a comedic twist. If you're looking for a book that will make you smile and swoon in equal measure, "Dick Slip" is definitely worth a read.

“Double facepalm. This calls for two.”

This was such a lighthearted and hilarious novella. Obviously, the laughs start just by reading the title, so imagine how much fun can be had between the front cover and those magical words… The End. In fact, I will say the only downside to this story would have to be the length, simply because I had fallen in love with the characters so much I wanted more from them. It is a standalone so that is another positive, but if you enjoy this book I would also recommend checking out the rest of Gwen McNamee’s novels as they are all great.

Rafe was there for the charity, this was supposed to be a fun basketball game between him and a bunch of other celebrities. Unfortunately for him, fate had a different idea in mind. One little wardrobe malfunction and suddenly he is in the middle of fighting for his career and having to show up at his boss’s office to answer for this incident.

“Wide-eyes and gaping mouths- that’s all I see from the 15,000 plus spectators who came here to enjoy a basketball game played by celebrities.”

“And instead of playing a friendly game of basketball and raising money for the sick kids, I just shot down my career with a scud missile.”

Then the next twist of fate lies in the hands of his new boss, Andy Mason, who turns out to be a woman, a hot and kind woman. The kind that can lead to troubles. It is literally only the second day on the job for Andy, and not only is she dealing with a major crisis, but she has to prove her worth for the job she was hired to do.

“On my second day? For the love of all that is holy, why does it have to happen now?”

“Sexy and formidable. She has me almost believing my job is as safe as she says it is.”

“She is sex on a stick. There’s just something about a powerful woman who takes control and knows what she wants that does something to me, and Andy is precisely all those things.”

Turns out Andy thinks that Rafe is pretty attractive too. Only problem is it can never happen right? Because she is the boss, and the boss can’t date the employees.

“Yeah, being the boss sucks sometimes, because that can never happen. Nothing ever can.”

Will she risk everything to save his job? Will they be able to address their feelings for each other, or are they destined to be twisted by fate just a little bit more?

Dickslip by Gwen McNamee is a short romantic-comedy book. I loved this book and would recommend that everyone read it. This author has created a story that is funny and engaging. Her characters are lovable and connectable. They are true to life and they heat up the pages. This story is about two people willing to put everything on the line for attraction. Rafe is a television host to a children's show. He is playing a charity basketball game when an unfortunate mishap happens, his privates falls out of his shorts. Now he gets to come face to face with the new CEO, Andy. What he doesn't realize is that Andy is a woman. Andy is the new CEO of a few days when she know has to deal with Rafe's situation. Will she save his job? Is she willing to put her job on the line for him? I loved both of these characters. They both are strong and hard headed. From the first time they meet they felt an attraction that they know is wrong. Will they act on it? I loved watching Andy putting everything out there for Rafe when it come to his job. With this being her first week on the job and fighting the environment because she is a woman, she is just an awesome character. This is a must read book that will make you laugh and needing ice water. I highly recommend you picking up this book!

Dickslip by Gwyn McNamee is a short but hilarious romantic comedy. It’s the first in the ‘A scandalous slip’ series of books.
I absolutely loved the 2 main characters Rafe and Andy. Their chemistry is off the charts hot.
Rafe Boswell is a well-known and well liked children’s TV presenter. When playing in a charity basketball match he has an unfortunate little accident. Well…maybe not so little. While jumping to make a catch Rafe has a wardrobe malfunction which results in the audience and the millions watching on TV getting a damn good view of his ‘junk’. As a well-loved children’s TV presenter Rafe knows that this little ‘slip’ just might cost him his job.
Enter Andy Mason, Rafe’s new boss who, knowing how popular Rafe is and how good he is at his job, fights for him to keep his job.
One of the funniest parts of the book is when Rafe is summonsed to a meeting with his new boss, only to discover that Andy Mason is a glamorous, sexy woman named Andrea. To say that sparks fly is an understatement.
Although Dickslip is a short book, my only moan if I had to have one, I was really drawn into these 2 characters and their fight to have a relationship when all the odds were stacked against them.
Next on my reading list is book 2 of this series ‘Nipslip’. If it’s anyway as good as Dickslip then I know I’m going to love it.

Dickslip by Gwyn McNamee is an office romance with a definite twist. When a charity basketball game gets a little out of hand and sex organs come out at the worst time, it will be up to Andy, to see if she can save her star's job while acting professional and fantasizing about his slip up. As the female CEO of an all-male company, she is having trouble keeping her eyes above Rafe's belt and now that she knows what he has under there is it getting in hot in here or is it just her? Rafe didn't mean to flash the entire basketball game, but getting under Andy's skin is an unexpected bonus. Getting to see her as something more than just his boss was definitely not in Rafe's plans but now that he saw her fight to keep him and his show on the air he is very appreciative of her and is willing to do anything to show it. McNamee always brings the best romantic comedy books to the market, and this one is no different. I love that she mixed it up with this one because the blurb for this story made it an automatic buy for me. The story of Rafe and Andy was hot, funny, and just awkward enough that I fell in love from the very beginning. If you are looking for a good laugh, a hot romance, or just a great read from a fantastic author than this is one that you need to pick up today!

Dickslip
By Gwyn McNamee
5 stars

Oh my god this book had me full on laughing out loud by the end of the first few pages. Gwyn McNamee is one of my favourite authors, ever since I read and fell in love with her book Savage Collision I know that whatever she brings out I need to read. This book has to be one of my favourites of 2018 so far. It was only a short read but fantastic nonetheless. There was nothing missing from this book, apart from the fact it ended! I could have read about Andy (Andrea) and Rafe forever. Andy was a great character, she stood up for what she believed and tried not to back down in a male dominated workplace. Poor Rafe, I did feel for him but for some reason I wish I was at that basketball game!! *wink wink* I really like his character as he was genuinely a lovely person.
I really did love everything about this book and loved that it wasn’t predictable. It was as I expected from this author brilliantly written, fantastic characters and a great storyline. The secondary characters were also great especially Rafe’s (older by 6 minutes) sister, she made me laugh a few times!
A really fabulous story that I cannot recommend highly enough – I know if you read this you will not be disappointed!

Dickslip: (A Scandalous Slip Story #1) (The Slip Series)
By: Gwyn McNamee
5 out of 5 stars

The story Dickslip: (A Scandalous Slip Story #1) (The Slip Series) by Gwyn McNamee is a wonderful romantic comedy. It tells the story of Rafe, who has a major wardrobe malfunction at a charity basketball game and Andy the CEO of the network where Rafe has a successful TV show. She is the one that has to handle the situation. When these two first meet after the incident it is clear that they both have an intense physical attraction to each other. This is a story that had me laughing and also feeling bad for Rafe at the total embarrassment that he is experiencing. He is convinced that his career is over. Andy is a strong woman who believes that Rafe is an asset to the network and stands up for him. This story has scenes that are hot and steamy and will have you turning up the air conditioning. This is a book that is wonderful to read and one that I will not soon forget. I have read several stories by the author and I look forward to reading more. This is the first book in a series and I can’t wait to read the next one.

Short story with some 🔥🔥

This was great. Super quick, sexy read!!
Andy - the new CEO of the company has Rafe’s back after an unfortunate incident that leaves him flashing his goods on public television. Even when the company’s board members want him gone, Andy is their to reassure him that would be a mistake.
Then they meet. Sparks fly. Insta-love. Feelings can’t be denied. It definitely puts their situation in an awkward spot. After one crazy hotttt 🔥 night - their world topples and decisions are made. The question is - are they the right ones?

*Overall 5/5 for a short novella
*Heat? 5/5 (I mean it was only really 1 scene-but it good)
*First person POV both Andy and Rafe
*HEA? HFN, yes.

Took about 1.5 hrs from start to finish. Super quick, fun read.

Also I must say and I’m sorry author, but I hate this book cover. I almost bypassed it based on cover alone. I’m glad I didn’t, but I think it could def be updated. I know it’s awful but if I’m in between books, I go with the one based on the better cover. This one would not have won me over. My apologies author.

I think the name of the book says it all! I mean, I knew going in this was going to be good and I was NOT disappointed! Gwyn McNamee delivers a hilarious funny romp-filled story that had me holding my sides at times. The characters, the situations, the humor all combines to give you a great book.

Rafe is a well-known TV star for a children’s show and how do you help out even more? By agreeing to play in a celebrity basketball charity tourney. Of course, things don’t go smoothly and while diving to save a ball other things are exposed! Talk about a wardrobe malfunction! Enter Andy. She has just land THE job. She is the CEO of the network where the ‘malfunction’ occurred on LIVE tv. Talk about jumping in with both feet!

The comedic banter back and forth between Rafe and Andy, the great writing and all around good feeling you get when reading this book makes it a must-read. Although it’s not long, you will love the positive energy and happiness you will feel after reading it.

Dickslip by Gywm McNamee is a funny lighthearted short story that will kept you entertained from start to finish.

Andy has finally made it. First woman in her companies history to become CEO. She knows she can ace this job so when the first problem arises just one day into her tenure she cracks on to get it sorted.
Rafe has never been one to draw attention to himself, at least not in a way that screams “look at me”. That is until an unfortunate accident leaves more on display at s charity game than he cares for. Working hard to try and repair his image he knows he has to keep his head low.
But when attraction flows between them can Andy and Rafe keep their heads together? Or will their attraction prove to be too much for them to ignore?

This book had me laughing right from the start. Although a short book it was entertaining and engaging. I enjoyed reading about the characters and everything that happened. A great, quick read that I would highly recommend.

Dickslip is a funny standalone by Gwyn McNamee. I laughed so hard during the first chapter of this book. I got a perfect visual of what happened and could imagine the looks on all of the faces in the crowd, especially the Moms. Rafe is a good guy who just had a bad couple of days but those days changed his life forever and I think for the better. I think if I had one complaint it would be that it wasn't long enough. I really could have enjoyed another five or six chapters of these two.

Andy is a strong powerful woman, she knows what she wants and goes after it which is how life ended up where it did. She refuses to allow the old crusty men of the board intimidate her and I love that. So often women are portrayed as fragile and unable to stand up for themselves even by female authors but that is not the case in this book for sure.

I have read everything by Ms. McNamee and have yet to be disappointed. I hope the streak continues!

Dickslip
By Gwyn McNamee
☆☆☆☆☆
This novella may be short, but it a fun fast read. This work romance holds no stops.

Rafe works as a child show host. His first love of science and Hollywood mixed together. All that changes when at a charity basketball game, he falls and he exposes himself, to everybody. Now his career could be over. Even though it was an accident.

Andy is a new CEO at a T. V. Station. She is so happy to be at her new job. But of course, she must defend Rafe and his accident. She must keep him at the station, as his show rating is # 1. Things heat up in the boardroom as she fights for Rafe and his job.

Gwyn McNamee has written this fun novella. It is a quick read, but not at the Doctors office. This story is hot and steamy, with an actual storyline. Her characters are down to earth, and can get into more trouble than they bargain for. This story is not for those under 18 due to sexual content. But I must say I love this story.

Author: Gwyn McNamee
FIVE STARS
This quick novella left me wanting oh so much more from Rafe and Andy. I was laughing out loud in the first chaper. It was funny and oh so sad at the same time you can't help but cringe inwardly at the spectical Rafe has made of himself.
Andy has only been on the job for 2 days and now has to deal with this issue from the top rated Children's television host. Andy now has to go before the board of the network to convince the old stodgers that Rafe's slip was accidental and that she will vouch for him.
Rafe expecting to be fired by his new boss, was shocked to learn a couple different things about his boss.
1. Boss is Female
2. Boss is HOT
3. Boss is a take charge kind of woman.
4. Boss isn't firing him.
The sexual tension between Andy and Rafe is immediate and jumping off the pages.
GREAT read. Not my first Gwyn McNamee read and definately will not be my last.

Dickslip by Gwyn McNamee
4 out of 5 stars
Let me first say that the only reason this book is not 5 out of 5 stars is that I really, really wanted
this book to be a few chapters long, and that is just me being selfish. This a laugh out loud
funny, very fast paced romance comedy. If you are looking for a quick read with a lot of quips,
quirks, hot steamy action scenes and hilarity thrown in, this is the book for you. Rafe is an
absolutely loveable Bone Doctor, and Andy, his boss is a super-hot, super confident, BOSS
woman. When all of Rafe’s man business slides out during a charity basketball game, Andy
rushes in to try to save him and his show on their network. It is nice to see the woman in the
position of power in this book and the male as the employee. It was a refreshing role reversal
and I adore relationship Ms. McNamee built for these two. A definite read and highly
recommended.

What happens when you try to be an all star at a charity basketball game and dive for the ball before it goes out of rebound? You dive and have a dickslip that's what. Yea I'm not sure what happened to wearing underwear but it made for a funny and sexy story. Rafe is beyond embarrassed for everything to be shown on this televised charity game. In front of millions and innocent children who he loves working with on his TV show. Andy recently hired as the new CEO has her first crisis, fix this dickslip before it ruins the station and Rafe's career. After a long week of dealing with it, the two share another scandal, this time will it cost them more than their jobs and the chemistry they share.

This is my first time reading the author and the book was well written, fast paced, and flowed like a tv show episode. It had funny lol moments, a steamy love scene that you might need a tall glass of water to cool down from, and a woman who knows what she wants.

A Wardrobe Malfunction Leads to Love ⭐🔥🔥🔥⭐

Laugh out loud and steamy moments in this action packed short story. Paleontologist Rafe Boswell has a wardrobe malfunction with his shorts while playing a charity basketball game...no problem right. Wrong!!! It's live and he hosts a children's TV show!!! Andy "Andrea" Mason has worked hard to make it as CEO of a TV network in a male dominate world. Standing up to the board defending Rafe is her first act as CEO. When the attraction is too much they both give in knowing the possible consequences. Sh#t hits the fan when pictures are leaked putting both of their jobs on the line...but that's not the worst part. Is there any going forward after Rafe leaves while Andy is still sleeping to do damage control??? Great characters, his/her POV, no cliffhanger, steamy scenes and a HEA. First book I've read by Gwyneth McNamee but I've already purchased the next two Scandalous Slip Stories!!!

The title of this book was the first tick in the awesome box. The author was the second. I enjoyed this story with wild abandon. A guaranteed 5 star author, I knew this was going to keep me immersed and invested for hours.

Rafe is hilarious from the get go, and Andy a force to be reckoned with. Individually, these characters shined and delivered elements of humour, attraction, dramatics and edge. Together they sizzled. From one chapter to the next, there was always a lot going on. Crisis after crisis, Rafe and Andy handled everything thrown at them with wit, clumsy finesse, and passion.

I was totally enraptured by this latest incredible read by Gwyn McNamee. An assured top quality story that has a bit of everything. Readers will want to add this to their to be read list. A definate five star story
