Timing Pest Management with Ornamental Plant Development. This unique and rare book offers the most precise program for controlling pests of nursery and landscape woody ornamental plants in the northern United States. The control of the insects and related pests on woody landscape plants is difficult because of the great number and variety of horticultural plants and the equally great numbers of pests that plaque them.
Another practical tool from the Practical Gardening Institute!

Dr. Orton's book is the best book for 'Integrated Pest Management'.
If you don't want to spray (or very little) pesticides, this book will tell you how to know the exact time to use the pesticides by noticing other things in nature. For instance, while forsythia blooms the conditions are perfect for treating crabgrass.
So packed with info. If you're a horticulturist, you must own this!!
