Emma has attained new heights in the Scholarium, and while that provides countless new opportunities for research it also means things have never been more perilous. Alliances will be forged and broken when a new war with the Righteous ignites and powerful new weapons come into play with the ability to reshape reality itself.
I very much enjoyed this book, the characters were well developed and they change as the story goes. Also I like the rpg lit components. However, I dislike how short the story is and the rpg components have begun to take less importance for the story rather than being in the forefront.
Better, ...and worse I like that Emma is taking better care of her toys. Conversely, The nonstop war and power games, and betrayals is getting repetitive. I like this series, but I'm not sure I respect it very much.
