This is a great story

This is an amazing story of the 2 people that started this series in the first book,,,, Aiden Black has been in a fight with Blake, his friend since they were both in Yale and after Aiden was injured! Blake went for Aiden's fiancé Ellie Rhodes and she had to defend herself,,,,

Flash ahead to the hospital where Aiden lays in the bed in a medically induced coma with Ellie by his side,,,, Aiden hears everything Ellie and everyone has said and tries to answer but cannot and doesn't know why,,, in walks a strange woman crying and talking to Aiden,,, turns out to be his mother he hasn't communicated with in years,,, finally the woman introduces herself to .Ellie and in a bit after that, Aiden's father, reeking of alcohol walks in,,,, finally, Arlene, his mother introduces into the conversation that Aiden should be moved for a secnd opinion as she's an RN and knows best, his medical team disagrees, they say he's nt well enough to move and a 2nd opinion us welcome to come to this facility,,, they talk her outta it and she convinces Ellie and her sister, Brie, to go home for the night, Arlene and Aiden's alcoholic father, Dean will stay with Aiden,,,,

Ok,,, so, you really need to check this book out,,,, it has much in it, considering it's all in the hospital setting,,,, but still has action and adventure,,, and just a touch of the steam,,,, you know the parents are going to be trouble,,,, what would Ellie do without Aiden,,, and Aiden will never let Ellie go,,, if he had his way, ,,,, but, you have to read this book,,,, I would recommend the whole series,,,, it's worth your time to read them all,, ,,,

I read this series as part of an arc program. This is the ninth book in this serial and picks up with Aiden still in a coma after being attacked and shot by Blake. Ellie is by his bedside and refuses to leave. When Aiden's mother arrives at the hospital, Ellie is uncomfortable with her and when his father arrives, his parents start to fight. Aiden's father is an alcoholic and his mother is a horrible person, she thinks she is the center of attention and she fights with the doctors. When his mother moves Aiden to Boston in the middle of the night against doctors orders, Ellie is left not knowing where he is and if he is okay. Aiden does wake up from the coma, but things do not run smoothly for the couple with their future plans. I really like this series and can't wait to see what will happen next. I think Aiden's mother will cause more problems and be hard to deal with.

Aiden is in a medically induced coma and can hear everything that is going on between Ellie and his selfish, controlling mother Arlene. Ellie is very guarded around Arlene and doesn’t trust her. Will Arlene get her way by transferring him to another hospital facility for the second opinion, only she wants? Ellie is is still having constant nightmares about the attack by Blake on her and Aiden. Will they ever be a happy family? Fantastic continuation of this great story by Charlotte Byrd, the storyline certainly keeps you on your toes with the twists and turns. What a cliff hanger too!
Well done Charlotte you have really done well with the 9th part of this superb story.

I received a free copy of this book via Bookfunnel and am voluntarily leaving a review. What a story. I did not think the story could get better but Charlotte Byrd did exactly that. She exceeded my expectations. There was a lot of emotion and love in this story between Aiden and Ellie. It just keeps getting better. Ellie stayed by Aiden side until he was cruelly torn away from her by his own mother. Ellie moved heaven and earth to find him. She found him and Aiden did not want her out of his life ever again. He wanted to seal the deal. But alas I think his mother has devious motives for trying to keep Aiden from Ellie. We shall find out in the next episode. A Great Read

This is the ninth installment of this book, Aiden is still in the hospital trying to recover from what Blake did to him. Ellie is trying to stay positive that Aiden will recover. When Aiden's family arrives and takes over will Ellie be able to keep her hopes up? I thought this was the last installment but again, it ends with a cliffhanger. Can Ellie get out of the trouble she is now in? and how will it effect Aiden? They were so close to their happily ever after. Enjoy the ongoing saga, I do.

Left me wanting more. The next chapter in Ellie and Aiden's story is fraught with drama and trauma. While Aiden recovers from Blake's attack, Ellie is devastated by being separated from Aiden during his recovery.

Shaken by Aiden's near death, the couple decide to hastily marry. However, circumstances conspire against them once again, leaving the reader with a cliffhanger. I am definitely invested in this story and will continue to the next chapter, however, this installment seemed a bit short and lacking compared to previous installments of the story.

Well, didn’t see this ending coming!! Aiden is in a medically induced coma to allow his brain injury to heal. Ellie is besides herself with worry, morning sickness and nightmares. Aiden’s parents come to see him and you don’t need to wonder why he doesn’t see or talk about them. His mother moves him to Boston in the middle of the night and doesn’t let Ellie know, so now she has to hunt him down. Getting pretty edgy. Surprise, surprise, surprise!! Looking forward to the next part.

Oh my!! We pick up from where we left off in book 8, Aiden is in a medically induced coma and Ellie is trying to come to terms with what happened to her and being there for Aiden. On top of it all she meets his parents and that is a big eye opener for her.
Charlotte Byrd definitely knows how to keep you gripped and leaves the book on such a cliffhanger that you need it now to see what is happening. Another brilliant read to the series. Love Ellie and Aiden

Nothing like an overbearing mother coming in and messing everything up. Poor Ellie not only has to deal with the stress of Aiden being in the hospital, but also his mother making her feel useless and unwanted. To make matters worse Aiden gets moved to another hospital and Ellie struggles to find where he has been moved to. Will there love survive his mother or will his mother get rid of Ellie once and for all? Great read and I can’t wait for the next one.

I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader copy of this book. We pick up right where we left off. This story just keeps getting better and with Aiden still in a coma, Ellie is trying to wrap her mind around everything that’s happened and how they ended up where they are now. Ellie is dealing with her pregnancy and Aiden’s horrible mother and all her meddling, what is that woman up to? Why does she not want these two together? Will these two ever get their HEA before it’s too late?

Well, I'm speechless! There is so much I did not see coming and so many moments written so well and delivered oh so brilliantly.

I could go into detail but I won't as I really feel that would lessen the impact of this installment. You need the twist and turns to hit you in the face without knowing they are coming. This is right up there as one of my favourite installments and I cannot wait for number 10!

I am voluntarily leaving this honest review after receiving an ARC.

I love this eriers but I hope it will be ending soon before I get tired of waiting on the next book. I normally stay away from series books because while waiting on the next book, I start several others then when it finally comes out, I have to try and remember where it left off. Other than that, this is a great read, wonderful story line with great characters. Please do not drag this series out too much longer.

This review is for the book Auctioned to Him 9: Wait/His to Protect (His to Take Book 9)

Well I was not expecting this, Aiden is in a medically induced coma to allow his brain injury to heal. Ellie is besides herself with worry, morning sickness and nightmares. Aiden’s parents come to see him and it's no wonder why he doesn’t see or talk about them. Aiden's mom tells Ellie that she needs to get some rest and says she would stay with Aiden, well when Ellie goes back to the hospital to see Aiden he is gone. Aiden's mom feels that the doctors don't know what they are doing and she decides to take charge of his care and had him transferred to a hospital in Boston against medical advice in the middle of the night and does not tell Ellie. Now Ellie has to hunt him down. Aiden's mom needs a swift kick in the butt. Does Ellie find Aiden?? Well you truly need to read this book. I truly loved this book and highly recommend but, after you read the first 8 books in this series. I can't wait until I get to read book 10.

This couple has been through a lot and it stille continues. Do they ever get their HEA?
Pregnant, man in coma, drama, action, danger, emotions, passion, twists and a wedding or... Well there is a lot going on. Worth the read.

Wow! This is a fantastic story that just keeps getting better with each book. In Book 9 Aiden has been put into a medically induced coma. Ellie is right by his side. He may not be able to respond but he can hear what’s going on. What will happen? I can tell you that you must read to see what curveball Charlotte has thrown us this time.

Well written and picks up right after book 8. It is left on a cliff hanger. I did get a little frustrated while reading. Ellie needed to fight for Aiden a little harder with his mom since she thinks Aiden hates her. Aiden's mom needed a good slap throughout the book. Ellie stayed by his side through the whole ordeal, now it is Aiden's turn to find her and help her. Look forward to book 10

This story begins exactly where the last book stopped.
Now we see Ellie dealing with her pregnancy, at the same time she needs to deal with Aiden still in a coma, and Aiden's mother, who is horrible and doesn't seem to want them together at all.
I'm anxious to know if these two will finally be able to be together and in peace.
I recommend the reading.

Again another wonderful continuation of the Ellie & Aiden story. There is so much more I want to say but it would all give things away.

The cliffhanger ending though....argggh! Why can't Aiden & Ellie just get a break! Will they get married? Will they get their happy ever after?

Love this author and can't wait for the next book!

These poor people!

I’m so happy and heartbroken at the same time! After fighting all that they have to be together, losing friends along the way, these two have finally gotten to the isle, just to have it snatched up yet again! I cannot believe it! I cannot wait to see what happens next, hopefully only good news this time, and that crazy lady will be put in her place as well.

Talk about twists and turns, this has to be my favorite of the series so far and the next book is the last one. That sux, but the series is good none the less. I have had a hard time putting these down as they are a quick and enjoyable read.

Best addition to the series, and that’s saying something because they’ve all been great! This one not only had the amazing sex scenes and the suspense, but this one had nail-biting drama and the best cliffhanger yet! Cannot wait for the next book. Book gifted to me.

Awesome

Love the series, however, it's getting tiresome for it to have all these cliffhangers. Ellie and Aiden are a beautiful couple!. They have gone through a bunch. Aiden's mom, Arlene is a bit**! Enough is enough!
