5 SEXY AND SWEET STARS!! This story is a hot and sweet short story. Dash and Cain's story is sexy, hot and put a smile on my face. This author has turned a sad painful Christmas memory for Dash into a beautiful Christmas memory. If you are looking for a quick delicious story to make you happy, look no further.

This little story was a
delicious moment in time
. However, we do get two epilogues that give us a glimpse into their future and allow for a more solid romance journey. Very well written and deliciously sexy. There's no real development of anything, but if you read it for what it is, it won't matter .... Well done!

I really liked this sexy short story when I read it in an M/M anthology and now with the little bonus epilogue it’s just about perfect. Cain and Dash are two strangers who end up at the same bar during Christmas but they don’t remain strangers for very long. I loved the explosive heat these two generate and when they get friendly I really didn’t want them to stop. Novellas are a great way to read something hot, entertaining and bite size before you go to sleep.

Well first I have to say….one of my fav sayings..lol Let’s take a moment to enjoy this cover!!! HAWT DAYUMMM it’s beautiful and y’all, let me tell you that what is after this cover is sinful!!! Lord Going Down was smoken’ HAWT!!!
Soo this short little novella was first published in the What Happens During The Holidays Anthology and I had the pleasure of reading it then as well and just loved it. Well it now has a bonus epilogue and yess I enjoyed reading a second time around!!!
Dash was sitting at the bar having a drink when a very hot blue eyed man with one very smooth like bourbon voice sat down right beside him at the bar. He figures out who this guy is and happened to know this guy was supposed to be getting married. Soo why was he here?? Dash realizes this hottie seems to be flirting with him and wonders if it’s just the alcohol affecting them both. Well one conversation leads to another and they decide to take this back to Dash’s house. Umm now you better get those fire extinguishers out cuz your Kindle will combust after this read!!! Make sure you go one click on release day and get wrapped up in this HOT and quick read!!!Sooo yummy!!!

I'm not sure what kind of voodoo magic Beth Michele injected into this story, but I somehow feel as giddy and satisfied at the end of this very short, "quick and dirty" story as I do at the end of most full-length novels.
My biggest complaint in most short stories is that things move too quickly and I do not feel like I connect with characters. That didn't happen here. I can't even tell you why. Something about the smart, engaging way it's written allowed me to attach to Cain and Dash despite the fact that my time with them was very short. On top of that - while this is a sexy (*fans self* no, like...sexxxxyyyyy) story, it also tugged at my emotions and teased out that big goofy smile of mine, a hallmark of any good story to me.
This was such a fun read! I loved these two and the peeks I got into their (hot, hot) love story. It's short, sexy, and surprisingly sweet and I'm left craving so much more where this came from! ~ Shelly, 5 Stars

Holy Shit!!!
If you are looking for a HOT, STEAMY, MM novella then look no further guys. I have been struck dumb by the sheer sexiness that is contained in this short story. Like...GD. My only complaint, honestly, is that it was TOO SHORT. Like....PLEASE GIVE ME MORE!!!!
Seriously, the hotness factor of this book is off the freaking charts. These two men, strangers, meet in a bar and well, you know the rest right? Naaaaa, you don't know how hot it is....seriously. OneClick this MF TODAY!

This is my first story from this author and I’ve already been to amazon to get more. I really enjoyed the story and the writing style. It was seriously hot but with humor as well. Plus two sexy men what’re could a girl as light for.
Dash is spending Christmas Eve alone in a bar . Christmas is his least favorite time of the year after being rejected by his family two years previous for his life style choices. He is bitter grumpy and a little bit snarky but that’s the best part. Along comes this beautiful stranger with amazing blue eyes and maybe dash won’t be spending Christmas alone after all.
Cain has up and left Christmas Eve he needs a break from his family his life and just about everything. When he meets Dash for the first time it’s not exactly the friendliest of welcomes but there is something about his snarky style and his sexy body that Cain can’t resist.
Highly recommended especially if you have a hour to fill and want something a little different.

This was a very short, very hot story. I wasn't too sure if I liked Dash or Cain at first, but I couldn't deny sparks flew as they started to banter back and forth and after Dash made a move, it was full speed ahead, and by then I was thoroughly invested in them. Even if it was all very instalust, Ms. Michele gifted us with 2 epilogues showing us the evolution of Dash and Cain's relationship sometime in the future and I have to admit, those were my favorite part of the book.
Very recommendable!

If you like you like filthy quick reads then this is definitely the book for you. Cain meets a down in the dumps Dash in a dingy bar on Christmas Eve and soon enough they are getting it on. These boys certainly like Going Down. I wish we had a little of what their Christmas was like after their elevators hook up. I really loved the bonus epilogues that let us see what they were up to a couple of years later. This book has left me wanting so much more from Dash and Cain.

Short, sweet and super steamy indeed. I need to go back and read all the other Beth Michele books I have on my list now after reading this. Inst-lust and a few ups and downs prevail on Christmas Eve, but even quick, one night stands sometimes have staying power. Great story.

Beth Michele turns up the heat factor between these two complete strangers. A close encounter during the holidays lead Dash and Cain to an even closer and personal encounter behind closed doors.
While this is a very fast pace story the character development doesn't suffer at all. I loved their their banter and the journey following their encounter. And like any other story by this author, the writing is superb. If you like short, sexy, and sweet M/M stories, Going Down is definitely for you. Did I mention that I loved the epilogue, I'm a sucker for those.
This is one of my favorite authors and this is a highly recommended novella.

A super quick, hot & steamy read. Dash and Cain were instantly attracted to one another when they met at the bar. I love their dynamic and their back and forth banter. Love the epilogues so I wasn't left hanging! I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.
