Erin Bedford is an otaku, recovering coffee addict, and Legend of Zelda fanatic. Her brain is so full of stories that need to be told that she must get them out or explode into a million screaming chibis. Obsessed with fairy tales and bad boys, she hasn’t found a story she can’t twist to match her deviant mind full of innuendos, snarky humor, and dream guys.

On the outside, she’s a work from home mom and bookbinger. One the inside, she’s a thirteen-year-old boy screaming to get out and tell you the pervy joke they found online. As an ex-computer programmer, she dreams of one day combining her love for writing and college credits to make the ultimate video game!

Until then, when she’s not writing, Erin is devouring as many books as possible on her quest to have the biggest book gut of all time. She’s written over thirty books, ranging from paranormal romance, urban fantasy, and even scifi romance.

Pounding Earth: A Reverse Harem Dragon Fantasy
Starcrossed Dragons, Book 4
By: Erin Bedford, J.A. Cipriano
Narrated by: Melissa Moran
This is an audible book I requested and the review is voluntary. I have read this as an ebook first but wanted to hear it too. I sure wish this was not the last one, I would love to hear one more to have the babies born!
I am keeping my original review for this book, it still is appropriate.
This is the final book in the series, say it isn't so!!! SOB! I love this series with the handsome and sexy dragons, the humor, the fantasy, magic, fighting with their powers, and I want to know about her triplets! Surely they have to continue this series! Maybe if enough people beg... lol
The narration is wonderful as it has been with all the other books in this series. Perfect voices to match the men. Great series!

I really enjoyed Pounding Earth. When Maya turned into her dragon I was able to picture it in my head. I liked the fact that the story was able to end really good. I loved the vision that Maya had at the end. I was glad that everything turned out good for all of them after the battle. I am sad that this is the last book of this series as I would of loved to the guys trying to handle parenthood. I loves the Starcrossed Dragons series and would recommend to others.

Enjoyable conclusion to the series.
Maya, now pregnant, is struggling to regain control over the raging hormones and the new demonstrating powers her babies are channelling through her. Accidentally causing trouble, her three men get her to practice the powers to regain composure before someone gets seriously hurt. However, the threat coming from the East cannot be forgotten, and the joined forces are collecting an army to defeat the coup of Lady Nariko. All seems well, until Firestar's abduction and disappearance in the area of the unaligned. In the light of the action needed, many secrets start to resurface..
When I read the book, I could not help myself but feel a bit awkward at some moments. It was as if I was watching a bunch of horny, immature, and whimsical teenagers playing heroes and trying to save the world (God help me in that case, and thanks for Jack's presence as he seemed to be the only one to keep calm and actually think). When I was happy in the previous two books that Raiden has finally grown up and Maya stopped to act as reckless and sometimes outright stupid, now it was a huge step back when it came to these two. Okay, accepted in Maya's case due to her pregnancy, but I was facepalming myself more often than I'd like. Firestar remained true to his nature but he is truly adorable that way, and Jack was always my favorite - that remained unchanged. I also grew more fond of the twins and Maya's sister than of some of the main characters - which is quite remarkable and I remain undecided how to process this fact.
But, casting this weird feeling aside, the conclusion was epic. Adventurous, full of tension and hilarious scenes, intervowen with steamy moments, and action-packed final battle. I enjoyed the fight and the demonstration of power and strategy so much in the end! I was almost sorry it was over. However, I would love to see more of tied knots in the department of Maya's home - to see the situation with Ned actually solved, and, well, I would like to know how things settled down between Maya and her father.. if they settled down at all. Nevertheless, it was a quick and fast pacing story with remarkable world building especially when it came to magic and special abilities. I am glad I was able to finish this series, and if there was a book about the young dragonlings in the future, I would definitely pick it up and read it in one go.

Not the final book

I was led to believe this was the final book of this series or i would not have started it. Unfortunately, it isn't. This one kind of left things left up in the air. A couple things got almost seated, but nothing was completely wrapped up. It ended with them literally no place to stay. Are they to stay in the East with Raidens mother who the Lord was obviously going to let get away with e everything, even though she brought about a war that could have easily resulted In the death of all her sons. That would be stupid. So she still has enemies out there with no home to call their own and still miserably pregnant. So if you were like me waiting until the end to read, keep waiting. Also be prepared for a very immature and selfish mc. And let's not even get into her constant oh disgusting comments when the twins flirt with her sister. Every time, yet she flaunts her guys in front of everyone all the time, but heavenly forbid if anyone said that to her. It was just so childish. Something a six year old would do and say. That was the age she sounded anytime she though or spoke, unless it was about sex. Then her constant leg rubbing was more like a teen. I got real tired of that about 4 books ago and it still hasn't stopped. Lastly, it was just crazy that Blogard survived the decapitation that Firestar dished out in the camp several books ago to be while and a villain in this one. The typos her weren't as bad as previous books, but still enough to pull you out of the story every couple chapters. Overall, this could have been a great series if it had an editor and some had been written with a little or maybe a lot more maturity. one to point out seriously missed issues and the mc

Maya and her mates might have thought they were safe but when one of her mates is kidnapped through treachery at a time when there is also a time of chaos her world spins. Thankfully the large army that comes from the West has her sister leading them. Can Maya master new powers, save the missing mate and rally everyone to finally bring peace back to the land and get her own HEA?

Wow - this last instalment in the story didn't disappoint. There was plenty of drama, danger and magic in this thrilling finale. I could definitely feel and empathise with her when one of her mates was taken away from her and could definitely relate to the frustration she was feeling. Definitely recommended. It definitely helps to have read the previous story first otherwise you might not understand what happened.

Left Wanting More

by PamGram1

Well this series is over, but a new one will start with Maya's sister Aeis. Maya has found out she's having more than one baby. She thought one as she got power over fire so they thought Firestar was the father. Then she finds out its triplets and Jack, Firestar and Raiden are very happy. Mostly when she starts manifesting all their powers. Her sex drive is getting out of control and they finally have sex all together. Lots of sex in this story. So much is happening in this last story that I don't want to give anymore spoilers away. I don't like the ending though as I would have liked to see Maya confront her father with the babies and all her power. It does have a happy ending, but doesn't feel completed.

Absolutely amazing. You'd think that think that all things are fine now that Maya and her mates are safe in the North and they prepare to take the Eastern dragon kingdom back, but no, things never are.

Maya is now pregnant which leads to more surprises and treachery. One of her hot sexy mate has been taken, additional chaos brewing and now her sister leads the army of the West which appears on her doorstep.... Maya has to learn her new powers in order to save her mate and defeat her sister in order to bring peace back to the lands. Will she find her HEA?

A definite must read! You'll be drawn in from the first page, Maya is fantastic as ever, great action, some twist and turns and a fantastic conclusion!

This is the last planned book in the Starcrossed Dragons series and this installment was just like the others in the series in that it was well-written, had much humor/romance/action, and some very hot scenes (and not because of fire…well, there was that one scene where it was both). The ending was very satisfying with almost all questions answered. We even get a glimpse of the future. I can’t say much more as I don’t want to spoil anything in the book. I’m hoping maybe the authors will change their minds and write more of this world as I’m really sad to see it end; it was a great place to be! Curious about what happened in the fire scene? Read the book and find out! Highly recommend! I was provided the e-book which I reviewed voluntarily.

There is plenty of action going on in the final book of the series, just when Maya, Raiden, Jack and Firestar thought they had a plan and things under control the pregnancy gets complicated, people from the past they never expected to see again show up and the battle to keep their freedom does not go as planned. I was definitely left guessing in regards to how things would go, but loved the action, suspense some of the surprises that occurred and showed not all of Maya's family is out to get her and they get rewarded for it too. The ending did leave an opening for more books I think so who knows what the future holds!

This is supposed to be the final book of the series but does leave a few questions up in the air - where do they end up living, does Maya come through her pregnancy without killing everyone, does the Lady of the East end up paying for her crimes and various others. The book needs a little more consistancy in editing as sometimes the inconsistencies and misspelling can pull you out of the story. But in spite of the various superficial flaws the characters are charming and entertaining and Maya, while sometimes childish, is still strong enough to stand on her own two feet. I did enjoy the book and will be looking for more of this world down the road.

I love all Maya’s guys. They are really getting this multiple mate thing down pat. I still think Maya has a bit of maturing still to go, but she is very protective of her mates. She is still goofy when seeing her sister with the twins. I know, she’s got pregnancy hormones. Even though I was scolding her all the way through, I couldn’t put it down. Even though this is the last of the series, maybe we can get an epilogue sometime. I would love to see the guys with the babies, especially Firestar. I loved how he reacted to anything about babies, big-bad not so big and bad. Hilarious! Don't miss the ending. I volunteered to read an advanced reader copy and am under no obligation to leave this review.

This is the best book in the series. It really brings a big payoff for those who have been reading along.

Maya and her three mates are so much fun together. They really are enjoying her pregnancy and it holds some surprises. They also have a big battle ahead of them that keeps her worried.

There is lots of passion and action in this final book in the series. I am sorry to see it end and hope the author might bring us more of the characters.
I really enjoy the interactions between them all. They have formed their own special family. I am sad to see it end.

I am voluntarily reviewing a copy I received.

I would like to thank the Booksprout website and the authors for this partnership.

This fourth volume concludes the Starcrossed Dragons series.

We find there the pretty Maya who thought she was safe with her companions in the North, she was wrong.

Her pregnancy brings her many powers, she is betrayed and there is a kidnapping and an army arrives and her sister is one of them. She will have to learn to control her powers and save her friend to bring peace to Earth.

A breathtaking finish, I loved the captivating story filled with suspense and twists and turns. Hurry for this quadrilogy to be published in full paper edition.

I loved this fourth book in the reverse harem dragon series "Starcrossed Dragons.". I don’t know if this is the last book in the series as it seemed to complete a story arc. I hope there is more to come as it seems not all the ends were tied up. Maya has come a long way under the guidance of her mates, and I have enjoyed both the story and the very sexy intimate scenes. I love the secondary characters, too, and the humor infused throughout the story, along with the serious dramatic scenes. The various dragon types and their powers are unique and intriguing. Very enjoyable

Book 4 is out and Maya and her men are back. Full of steamy scenes and quite a few funny scenes too, this story just sucked me in to see what crazy thing would happen next. Liked the few twists that showed up too. Quite a few people from the previous books showed up again too so that was fun. Wrapped up the series fine too. Definitely worth reading. Questions from the other books were answered too. Like the other books in the series, once I started reading, I was hooked and had to finish it in one sitting. Plus the writing made it easy to get sucked in. I really enjoyed the story.

Too much sex, not enough action, and really 3 guys, one lady, yuck, nasty

I gave you 3 stars, and barely that! You got so involved in your sex descriptions, you almost forgot your main storyline . Disgusting disappointed ripped off. Cipriano you're a great writer, why? Because boys just want to bang the pretty girls, your words not mine. Girls just want to bang the pretty boys? Gag me, please gag me now, what a waste of talented writer. I won't buy or read another. Ms. Bedford you should hang your head being a part of and contributing to this! No one else care?

This is the last book in the Starcrossed Dragons series and I must say I am sad to see it end. I loved watching Maya and her men deal with everything that was thrown at them. The pregnancy bonuses were a surprise even though the blurb of the book speaks of them. This book definitely keeps you on the edge of your seat while keeping you laughing at all the surprises that show up with the growing pregnancy. Best story in the series! There are several surprises for Maya and her men in this one. Questions will be answered and new ones asked. This is supposed to be the last book but I hope it isn't. Hints of another relationship and a "loose end" that needs taken care of leaves the opening for more stories or even a "spin-off". One can only hope...

I received Pounding Earth, book 4 of the Starcrossed Dragons series, from the author/publisher (via BookFunnel). The gifting did not determine the review/rating, which reflects my honest opinion. Although I skipped a couple books in this series, I found it easy to pick up on the action and remembered the characters from reading book 1. As before, a fast-paced thrill ride from the first chapter! A little over-the-top, but that is what makes this read such fun.

Another great addition to the story

I love this series following Maya Rose and her 3 dragons. This book is another great addition to the ongoing story I’m just hoping the next book carries on were this one left off I’d hate to miss anything. This one was none stop from start to finish so you will not be disappointed with the story, Maya is one kick a$$ dragon with the support of her mates.

As one battle comes to ahead, we learn a lot more about some politics and the dragon species. Maya learns more control and the love deepens. New alliances are formed and things are revealed. It's another great read in the series, but if this is the end, it left a lot of questions for me. I felt one more book in this series could have been written to tie up the loose ends before a spin-off was started. I still give it four stars because I really enjoyed. I volunteered to read this book.

I loved following Maya through her journey and getting to see her relationships grow with her men. Her sassy attitude made me love her even more every time it popped up. This was a great conclusion to the series and I hope that there are more books on Waesigar to come. I loved hearing Melissa narrate this. She was the perfect choice for a narrator and she did a wonderful job with the entire series.

I laughed at Maya's hormonal mood swings during her pregnancy, and smiled happily when she discovered she was carrying triplets . There was tension, tears and drama when one of her mates was kidnapped, and then the war to end all wars. I loved the way the characters developed - how Maya's powers grew and changed as her pregnancy advanced - and laughed at how she struggled to control them. The ending was beautiful, and I cant wait to read more from this brilliant author

Maya is pregnant with triplets and her hormones are all over the place! Then her husband Firestar is abducted and her sister arrives with an army of allies. Finding Firestar, taking names and kicking asses. The thrills and chills are headed for an epic conclusion to this series! I loved reading Maya and her mates story. And I am very interested in Maya's sister. Her story looks to be a winner!

What a perfect way to end Maya and the guys adventures. Maya doesn’t let anything stand in her way. A book that just keeps you on the edge of your seat and chuckling. Can’t recommend this series enough! Sad that it is the final book but an amazing ending to an amazing series

Ok, this is just a a “quickie” review. Unfortunately, I’m in in a hospital and asked my husband to post this since I don’t have the time to do better - even though the book definitely deserves it.

Bottom line: five stars. This was one wonderfully fun novel and definitely recommended. It had just what I wanted and was well written and with a great plot and great cast of characters.
