Wealthy businessman Finn Walker is out of his element when his baby nephew is dumped on his doorstep.
After single-handedly raising his kid sister, handsome alpha biker Slade knows a thing or two about babies. What he needs is a foot in the door on a big construction deal – one Finn can provide. Finn suggests an exchange: Slade gets a fair shot at a lucrative bid, and Finn takes Slade on as his baby coach.
An intense week of baby boot camp begins… but with the two hot men in such close contact, the undeniable chemistry threatens to take over. Will they amend their original week-long exchange to include a very sexy clause? And what happens after their seven days are up?
The Biker’s Baby is a fun and sexy new 50,000-word gay mpreg romance tale from Austin Bates that will leave you breathless.
...a beastly eleven inches or twelve and a half inches?
Just sayin'! ;p
While reading this story, I kept thinking how I was going to write a review for something that at times just seemed "crude" to me and NOT in a good way! I felt like having Slade refer to his own man parts as a "beastly eleven inches" (and at another point, it was twelve and a half inches?) was a bit weird! Now, if Finn had been the one making that comment or having those thoughts about Slade's man parts, then I would have found it intriguing... but, as it was written? I just found it to be over the top self-centered!
Another thing that was weird for me was the fact that I may have jumped into the middle of an already developed series with all the characters established, but there was NO indication of this from the blurb and as this was a NEW author for me... I found certain parts of the book confusing about things the author assumed I should already know... grrrr
And what about the scenes that left you wondering why in the world they were even in there... Example: When Slade went to the store to grab more buns for the BBQ! How did that add to the story? Why did we even care that they were running out of buns? Am I the ONLY one that found this situation weird, also? *grin*
ALL of that having been said... I liked Finn and I grew to like Slade (of course, Beau was a guarantee love fest for me!)... but could these two have had LESS communication? I mean, seriously? I just wanted to reach into the book and bang some heads! There was NO flow to most parts of the story, things just seemed to jump around like popcorn popping in a pan (hmmm, now I am hungry) and I lost count of how many times one of them walked away from the other because the other one refused to open his mouth and let words pour out! UGH, this was soooo frustrating for me, as a reader! Even at the end, you thought, oh no... here we go again! But, thankfully, we were FINALLY put out of our misery and Finn and Slade got their HEA... HALLELUJAH!!!
Now, I find myself in a quandary... Do I just walk away from this author or do I do a bit of research and see just what the hell was actually going on with all the other secondary characters from this book? Yeah, I can't help myself... research it is! *headdesk* LOL!!!
Omega Finn Walker is a wealthy businessman with a lot on his plate. His life is turned upside down when his half-brother, that he didn't know existed, abandons his baby and leaves Finn to raise his nephew. He is way out of his element and doesn't know the first thing about taking care of a baby.
Biker, Slade is an Alpha that owns a construction company and is trying to get his company a bid on a huge construction job. There is a lot riding on this job and so many people are counting on him to come through. Slade knows a thing or two about raising kids since he practically raised his baby sister while his parents were off doing God knows what.
When Slade finds evidence that Finn maybe using his influence to get the bid for his own company, Slade confronts Finn about getting a fair shot at the construction bid. After some back and forth, they come to an agreement. Since Slade knows about kids and Finn has the connections to introduce Slade to the right people to get a chance at that construction bid, Slade agrees to help teach Finn how to take care of a baby.
However, as they spend time together, their chemistry is electric and they soon find that they can't keep their hands off each other.
There are so many aspects of this book that I just loved. The author did an excellent job of providing a back story for both Finn and Slade that was so insightful. The characters themselves were well written and you couldn't help but swoon over the two of them. And their chemistry just jumped off the pages of the book. I enjoyed this book from start to finish and felt a little bereft that life got in the way of being able to consume this book. I do hope I get to see more of these characters. They were hard to say goodbye to.

The book blurb tells the story a lot better than I ever could. Truly the book blurb is nothing like reading the book. I enjoyed reading "The Biker's Baby" with the MC's Slade, alpha motorcycle club "Sargent -at-Arms and Finn, omega, a rival in a bid for the city's project. Each one feels right in their estimation as who was in the wrong in the bidding war between the two companies. Neither one would back down. Sparks fly between them and it is of running. Finn just newly saddled with a nephew, Beau, he didn't know nor wanted plus this intrusion of this alpha, Slade, made Finn throw out a suggestion would both be beneficial. This is a great read. Fans of the mpreg would definitely love this book. An omega who does not know how to care for a baby and alpha who has it down pat. It touched all my buttons, humorous, awesome chemistry and throwing in a motorcycle club just made it an entertaining read. At times, it felt slow going but overall it was worthy of 5 stars in my opinion. It is an awesome start to a new series (I hope). Maybe Phoenix and Jules? A great read. I would recommend this to anyone wanting an entertaining and adorable book. I like to point out I like the way Austin writes: his sentence structure, his word usage, and of course, his imagination in creating his take on the omega/alpha male pregnancy genre. *********************************************** I received a free advance reader copy of this book in exchange for an honest & unbiased review.
I read this book as part of an arc program. I loved this book, I loved Finn and Slade. They had a great connection and had a lot of heat. Finn was a wealthy businessman who was biding on a construction job against Slade's company and Slade confronted Finn accusing him of being unfair in the biding. Slade offered Finn 24 hours to get another chance at the biding or he would go public accusing Finn of bribery with the mayor. When Slade lands at Finn's home and sees Finn with a very upset baby, Slade steps in and tells him why baby Beau is crying nonstop. Finn is so upset, he offers to agrees to Slade's demands if Slade will help him with the baby and teach him how to care for him. Slade agrees to a week of baby boot camp and while Slade helps Finn, they fight their attraction to one another, until they can't fight it anymore. Slade also has issues arise with his MC that he has to deal with. Finn and Slade make a great couple. I loved how Slade brought Finn out of his shell and how he was so great with Beau. Finn was so clueless, he was adorable. I also really liked the other characters like Jules and Phoenix as well as Parrot and JT. I would like to see a series with this book. I really liked this one.

Finn had a rough start in life. Then his grandparents step in to raise him. But it was only to mold him how they want him to be. Finn did what was expected of him no matter what. But one day his life is turned upside down when he is left to take care of his nephew that he never knew he had. Plus he has to deal with contractor, Slade, that will not take no for an answer for the up coming bid that he got shot down for. What will Finn do with Slade? Will he give in to his demands? Or will other opportunities pop up?
Slade is upset that his bid got pasted over and he is determined to make sure that he was given a fair shot not matter what. So when he approaches Finn about it, he is surprised to see that Finn is keeping a secret from everyone. But this secret, his nephew, Beau, soon brings them together in more ways then one. Will Slade be able to put his past aside to be with Finn?
I really liked this book. I could not put this book down once I started reading it. The flow of the story was on point. You will fall in love with the characters. This is my first time reading this author and I can wait to pick up another book by him. I highly recommend this book to others
I really enjoyed this story and one of my favorite things about it - the characters were not at all what I expected! Finn is a very successful Omega, he's worked very hard to become the businessman that he is! Slade is a tough Alpha, yes, but he's got a softer side too especially when it comes to kids. These two are initially thrown together for business reasons, and it's not the best start but when Slade realizes Finn is now caring for his infant nephew and doesn't have a clue, little Beau brings the two men together.
These two have major chemistry right from the start, but it's not always great, they but heads A LOT! Both of these guys have a stubbornness that made me a little crazy at times but I really did enjoy their journey! As they start to spend more and more time together and learn about each other, it's clear to see that they are just meant to be! It was entertaining and fun to read and I think Austin Bates does a great job of bringing these characters to life. I sure hope we see more of this group!

Finn was being blackmailed by Slade, both contractors bidding on the same construction job. In the middle of negotiations, waaa, waaa. Slade goes to find the author of the noise. Beau is Finn's nephew. He was dropped off and given to him only two weeks before. Finn tried everything he knew to get Beau to be happy and stop crying, including Google search. Then Slade asked for a try. He found a diaper rash and told Finn how to treat it. Finn discovered how much he needed help and Slade also pushed a few personal buttons for him. He asked Slade to help him with Beau. Negotiations began. Finn was used to business practices, but wanted to learn about taking care of his nephew. Slade knew about kids and business. He also saw something in Finn he wanted to get to know. The more time they spent together the more passion began to take hold. a A great love story of will I or won't I. Will I enjoy you for a small time or longer? Do you want me for a small time or longer? I voluntarily reviewed an advanced readers copy of this book.
The Biker's Baby is about two soul mates from the same side of the coin they have both been hurt by their parents having to take care of kids that someone pushed the kids on to them in a selfish way. One having to take care of a sister at a young age and one having to take care of a 6 month old baby and having no idea what he is doing but he is trying to be the best dad that he can. Finn is also trying to keep people at arms length with the people he loves. Slade is trying to keep the people together at his first biker gang and also trying to keep his sister out of trouble. I am very glad that they were able to find a way to work there relationship and make a happy life with them and their babies. It is a little sad that what happened with Slade and Finn's relationship before the ending. Austin you did an amazing job with this story I hope you guys read this story it is very good. I can't wait to read more of your stories. Keep up the amazing work Austin. I love your stories

Omega Finn was abandoned by his mother at the age of six, after losing his father. Brought up by his grandparents, he worked hard to get where he is in life. Then he finds himself the guardian of his infant nephew. He doesn't know anything about being a parent.
Alpha Slade is a general contractor who finds that Finn may be cheating in a bid for a big job coming up. He confronts Finn and tries to get the man to allow Slade to make a fair bid.
Finn finds out just how good Spade is with children and asks him to help him learn to be a better parent. One week, coach Finn in parenting and get his chance at a fair bid. Slade agrees. As the two men are working together, their mutual attraction grows and soon a new term is added to their agreement - sex. But when the week is up, will they be able to stop?
Well written, entertaining story with great characters. Definitely a recommended book.
I loved it! The story was great; the book was great. Slade and Finn had met not long before they fell for each other, but it did not feel like it. It felt as if they knew each other for much, much longer. If it was not for the book reminding me that it had only been a short period of time from their meeting, I would have been thinking years had passed by. Always good when the connection between characters does not feel as if it was rushed. Their feelings and emotions gradually grew and it was really nice to see. The only thing I did not like was that the ending just seemed like it was cut off. Maybe it needed an epilogue or just a few more words to make it complete. Either way, I enjoyed reading the book.

Read this book years ago, but now on Audible. Omega, alpha and mpreg
Finn Walker an Omega, wealthy if not a little dishonest business man, has suddenly become a father to his baby nephew, not that he knew he had any family out there. He'd been brought up by his grandparents, wealthy but not emotional. Slade an Alpha, Biker and construction business owner, struggling to get a foot in on the big deals in his town. Finn and Slade meet, to discuss Finns illegal process of getting deals with the mayor, but things seems to divert to the baby that Finn was not coping with. This is a great story, great narration but did speed it up to 1.25, and a HEA.

I cannot tell you how much I liked this story. Hopefully, it was a great start to a new series by Austin Bates. Slade, a biker alpha, was fighting for his company and his "brothers" against Finn's company. These guys started out rough and had their fair share of bumps (as any romance) but in the end everything worked out. Beau, Finn's abandoned nephew was a big part in bringing them both around to how they would feel about each other and being a family as they were both basically abandoned. Finn learned what a family that the "club" could be as well.
I really enjoyed this book and hope that this is the beginning of a series. I highly recommend it to anyone who loves Mpreg or is new to it. I was offered an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
Starting off I wasn't sure I would like it. Slade came off as a bit of a jerk just bursting into Finn's place of business because he felt he had been wronged and Finn had unfairly won the bid he wanted. I was glad I gave the book a chance though. Slade wasn't as bad as I expected and Finn was a character that I felt for. I was glad to see them working together to take care of Beau even though there were ulterior motives for doing so. It turned out to be a very nice read. The romance development did feel a bit rushed to me at certain junctures of the book but overall I enjoyed it.
An ARC was given to me in exchange for an honest review.
This is a interesting, intriguing & a heart-warming book to read, and I thoroughly enjoyed reading it. What you will find in this amazing book is: a wealthy omega (Finn), a alpha construction company owner (Slade), a abandoned baby, drama, intrigue, rivalry, humor, disagreements, chemistry, emotional feelings, lack of communications, heartache, lust, love, passion and erotic scenes. The story-line is well thought out and written, the pace is steady and not rushed. The characters have emotional fears, needs and desires according to their personality. I would recommend this book to people who like to read a Mpreg romance with a HEA.
I liked the sexual tension between Slade and Finn. But... This whole book got me extremely confused. It's the whole thing of "Slade loves Finn but he can't and he decides to love Finn but again, cannot" and "Finn loves Slades but he cannot allow himself to fall in love..." At least show me the reason why MCs cannot love each other instead of simply saying that they cannot love each other. It's unconvincing. I cannot believe this plot still exists. It's 2019, author. Please show some better level of story telling. I tried to follow the plot but I was lost a couple times and I eventually gave up on reading this book with repetition.
Slade is ready to battle who he thinks is to blame for his company not getting a bid on a contract, Finn. He also assumes because Finn is rich he has always been that way and has no idea how the other side lives. Finn is dealing with several personal issues and tries to compromise with Slade. They both have their own problems and lack of communication is one they share. I understand Slade's position from the beginning and Finn's lackadaisical attitude does not help. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.
I think this is a great book, and I was caught in the story from the beginning. As always a well written book from a awesome author.
"Spoiler alert"
I think the way Slades plast, in which his parents leave him to fend for himself and his baby sister shows a new side of the typical alpha, and Finn really is a one of a kind omega with his idea of a baby training camp. I just loved watching their story unfold and I was so happy when they got through the tuff times and got their happy ending! I voluntarily review an advanced copy of this book.
Well written story that has a nice timeline. It does not feel rushed. Characters well described and develops nicely. Hot chemistry and great passion. I am not into people that are very selfish and Finn is at times. I felt confused at times because at lot was going on that I could not relate to from reading about earlier. There was a lack of depth in the story sometimes. This also comes from the fact that the lack of communication between Finn and Shade also gives the reader a lot of questions and loose ends. Enjoyable read.
read this book as part of an arc program. I liked the book, It's a sweet romantic story with entanglements and HEA. The story is about a alpha biker Slade and rich omega Finn. Finn gets an exclusive contract that Slades building company also are interested in. Slade tried to blackmail Finn into getting a new bid on the contract. Slade discovers that Finn has a baby to support and needs help. Finn manages to get parental coaching from Slade, so Slade's company has a shot at getting the contract. They get involved and I like the way they interacts with each other.
Don't get me wrong, I did enjoy the book but it is not one of my favorites of Austin Bates. The characters are great but there were times I wanted to smack Fin upside his stubborn head. The main problem I had with the book was, to me, the title is a bit misleading. I expected a MPreg book but the pregnancy actually doesn't happen till the end of the book. I love Beu and his relationship to Slade but he's not the "Baker's Baby". The story is well worth reading and as I said I did enjoy it but it just wasn't what I was expecting.
Not really a fan of this one. I was really hoping that there would a lot more tension and build up before they hooked up. I didn't really feel like there was much going on for either character. And the back and forth at the end was annoying and confusing. Like, I thought flying to Seattle and inviting Slade to the ball and him showing up would have been enough to cement their mutual feelings, but apparently we had to go through the whole "I love you, we can't" nonsense once more.
The Biker's Baby is a fun, sparks flying mpreg story about Finn, an omega, and Slade, an alpha. Finn is raising his baby nephew when he and Slade are up for the same construction deal and Slade trades parenting skills for a fair shot at winning the bid for his company. They didn't set out on falling in love but that's exactly what happened. This is an enjoyable book and well worth the listen. Narrator Barney Parkwynne does a marvelous job.
Loved this story. Strong chemistry and great story line. Alpha Slade is determined to get his company a fair chance while the rich omega Finn tries to figure out how to care for his infant nephew. Will they work it all out? Plenty of twists and turns to keep the pages turning.
So I got this book by mistake but since I had it I read it. I'm not going to say it was a fantastic read but it was interesting. I enjoyed the premise of a male pregnancy. The writing wasn't great and the flow of the story was a little disjointed. A good KU read but not sure I'd pay to read it.
These stories were well written that had a hard time putting them down and do other things. I will have to say that my favorite story was of Slade and Finn. When you meet and see the clash of two that think that are right all the time. This was wonderful collection of the two stories. Highly Recommend to read today
2,5/5 It's a soap opera, a mess, a telenovela where decisions and events don't really make sense nor bring anything to the emotional stakes or the plot! The first all is the better one though.
**Longer review to come if I remember to come back to it (because I have a lot of things to say about it and not necessary the will to put it in writing)**.
Another amazing book by this talented author. Finn and Slade started out as opposites, but realized they share similar backstories. Their chemistry is red hot and I loved reading how much their characters grew both together and individually. Wanted to smack Finn a few times though lol.
