Honestly, this book while being silmiltaneous a challenge to work through and eye opening, has profoundly impacted my life. A semester of my life in the late 2010s was spent intimately getting to know this book. But like any first great true love, I found the later content involving inertia to be a bit dry, and we parted ways. But the concepts and ideas present are so evident in daily life and have impacted me for the better. I wish I would have read it sooner, because it's application of geometry and trig problem solving has me lusting over this book several years after the fact. This really is the most digestible statics content I have found in a text. I know things can never be the same, and time marches on, but maybe we could repeat our time together this Valentine's day? Just for old time's sake. Spent the next several hours on my kitchen table drawing truss diagrams and really putting some work and energy into our free body diagrams. But what would really be gained from such an adventure, outside of pure carnal fun?
