Finally! An adult coloring book that urges all of you introverts out there to band together to color, but, you know, separately and in your own homes. Because, let’s be realistic, who wants to socialize when you can stay at home and color?
After all, coloring combines two of the things that introverts love most; curling up with a good book and artistic expression. Oh, and coloring also offers up the perfect diversion for those times when it all just feels way too peopley outside and you need to recharge your batteries.
Introverts Unite to Color! consists of 25 coloring pages and, with phrases that express the innermost thoughts of pretty much every introvert, all of you gentle souls out there will definitely be able to relate.
So, grab a copy of this adult coloring book for yourself as well as all of the other introverts in your life. That way all of you can happily stay home and individually bond over your shared love of alone time.
I unabashedly love this. I’ve been an introvert my whole life, so I identify with almost all of the sayings (I do like to hug, after all). Some pages made me literally laugh out loud, like “Ain’t No Party Like An Introvert Party ‘Cuz An Introvert Party Don’t Start” and “It’s Too Peopley Outside.”
I enjoy coloring books, and I usually break one out during church every Sunday. I have ADHD, Primarily Inattentive Type, and doing something with my hands helps me to focus on the speakers way more than if I just sit and stare at them. We’re so willing to allow little kids to have accommodations…why can’t adults be afforded the same courtesy? I’m all about informing people that a lot of these “issues” do not go away because someone turned 18 and was magically cured. I wish!
Okay, off my soapbox. 😂
This book is one that I’ll definitely be ordering for my collection…there’s nothing like coloring a page that has DON’’T TOUCH ME in big, block letters while you’re at a church meeting, haha!! (Just kidding—I’m a hugger, remember?)
Thank you to NetGalley and H.R. Wallace Publishing for a copy in exchange for my honest feedback.
The cover of this adult coloring book immediately caught my attention and I was intrigued. After getting a chance to look through the pages. I not only want to get a copy for myself but for some friends as well. This is the perfect coloring book for an introvert! Each picture is on one page so any medium (including markers) can be used. Every page has a humorous saying that applies to introverts, along with designs or illustrations to accompany it. Some examples: “Give Me Space” has an outer space theme, “Don’t Touch Me” has the word “Me” made out of cacti, “Not Today, I’m Booked” has books for the background, and “Anti-Social Butterfly” has butterflies on the page. There are 26 pages to color, including a copy of the book cover. The only thing that some may not appreciate is that the animal included on a few pages is a cat. Dog people may feel left out. (lol)

2.5 ⭐️ Hilarious and sassy quotes for the introverts that just want to read, color or sit in stillness.
🐢 “My spirit animal is a turtle. We’re both content in our shells.”
🎉 “Ain’t no party like an introvert party, ‘cuz and introvert party don’t start.”
📆 “I’m a social vegan. I avoid meet.”
🙈 “It’s a beautiful day to leave me alone.”
Features 26 designs with a variety of themes ranging from nature and space to indoors and books. Each design has a different style, like mosaic, chunky, zen doodle, simplistic, busy, etc.
Overall, the sayings are funny but only a few of these designs really appeal to me. Most of us long-time adult coloring book fans have multiple books to choose from, and I will find myself exhausted of desire to grab this one over some of my other favorites.
Thank you to NetGalley and HR Wallace Publishing for this ARC in exchange for an honest review!
Introverts Unite to Color! But Separately, and In Your Own Homes is a fantasic colouring book. It has a subtle humour to it, with each page having a different meme/quote that all introverts can relate to!
I really like that each page had text and a lot to colour in. It wasn't just big blank spaces, but a lot of different elements that will keep you busy
A really good colouring book to pass the time. On your own. Away from the peoply places
Thank you to NetGalley for this fantastic eARC. My review is left voluntarily
Thanks Net galley for digital/advanced copy . Really aye catching title who fully delivers full of and phases every introvert would Relate to. Would make excellent gift to introvert in your life. Or you as introvert itself get yourself a copy and immersive yourself into coloring this and relax. Also i might each picture has blank page under which is wonderful if u want to use markers whosometimes bleeds so it doesn't affect picture after which is major bonus .
This coloring book is hilarious and ideal for introverts! Each page perfectly encompasses a moment lived by or thought that has come across the mind of an introvert, in the context of beautiful illustrations. Examples are:
- small talk survivor - canceled plans are my favorite plans - please don't make me do stuff - why go big when you can go home?
And so many more that will have you laughing. Separately. In your own home.
Thanks to NetGalley and H.R. Wallace Publishing for a digital copy of this book.
Color on! Go dig out your colored pencils or markers or a long forgotten box of crayons. There's fun to be had here. There's something relaxing about simply sitting down in a comfy chair and coloring a picture. We knew it as children but somehow forgot this simple pleasure as we aged.
While this collection targets introverts, it should be a fun, relaxing activity for all, even if you tend to color outside the lines. I could go into great detail about the benefits but, well, fun tops the list for me. I've always enjoyed coloring and have several adult coloring books scattered about at any given time. The drawings just begging to be colored here are humorous and offer the chance for lots of color choices. My only qualm was that although there is a dog in one of the pictures, this one was probably largely designed with cat people in mind. No matter. Still fun.
The drawings are cute and funny. See the cover. There are 58 pages with fun sayings. Each drawing occupies a full page with the facing side blank, meaning you can easily remove said artwork without having to choose one side over the other. I had the ebook version, so can't address the quality of the paper but given the design, lean toward it probably being quite appropriate for most coloring tools, maybe even paints. No author/illustrator credited, so probably done in house by the publishers.
Kudos to the creators who managed one of my favorite sayings since covid appeared, "It's too peopley outside." Another, although I'd have to change the "cat" to "dog", was "I'd love to but my cat and I already have plans." "Enjoy the silence" was another appropriate one for those of us who crave the peace of silence and nothing but a furry pet to distract us from out books, ie "Not today. I'm already booked". Bottom line, lots of fun. Thanks #NetGalley and #HRWallacePublishing for the creative inspiration.

Introverts Unite to Color! is a humorous and appealingly simple coloring book for adults. Released in 2018 by H.R. Wallace, it's 58 pages and is available in paperback format.
These are simple line drawn coloring pages with a humorous/pithy saying on each page. Each drawing is on one page with the facing page blank, so they're appropriate for most media (markers, pens, dry-ish watercolor, pastels, pencils, crayons, etc).
The art is not credited, and presumably done in house. The publisher produces coloring books in a number of themes and styles.
Four stars. Lots of fun pages to keep readers busy for hours.
Disclosure: I received an ARC at no cost from the author/publisher for review purposes.

Review: LOVE the cover, it draws you in immediately. Images are so cute and messaging is on point for introverts. It appeals to stereotypes in the best way. I personally adore larger drawings because they are easier to color. Would love a physical copy!
'Introverts Unite to Color! But Separately and In Your Own Homes' is a delightful addition to what can be an overwhelming selection of colouring books that are now available. This book includes 26 ready to use colouring sheets filled with sweet and relatable illustrations about staying home, reading our books, and not hanging out with too many people. A highlight is its combination of cute, cartoon style illustrations and geometrical patterns that are used to create a satisfying colouring experience. I utilise colouring sheets in the classroom for regulation and recreational activities and this book meets this need perfectly.
Introverts Unite to Color! But Separately and in your Own Homes
4.5 Stars
I had to try this book; the title amused me. I enjoyed all the witty sayings written about us introverts on the coloring pages. I made a mixed medium artwork, Give Me Space, using watercolor, colored pencil, ink, and white acrylic for highlights. I had a lot of relaxing, fun using this coloring book.
Overall, this is an enjoyable coloring book. Some pages I found too busy. I'd prefer a variety of levels, from easy to hard.
Thank you, NetGalley and Wallace Publishing, for an ARC for free in exchange for an honest review.
Oh my goodness, I loved this so much more than I expected. The various pages are hilarious and so cute. Some of my favorites are: “It’s a beautiful day to leave me alone”, “Ain’t no party like an introvert ‘cuz an introvert party don’t start” and “Not today, I’m booked” (with stacks of books to color). As another reviewer mentioned, it is cat heavy, but a sweet dog of the most perfect breed is included on page 39.
I viewed a temporary digital copy from the publisher for advanced review, but I cannot wait to purchase this myself.
They had me at the title with this one! As a lifelong introvert, and one who is regularly in need of stress relief, this book was a perfect fit.
It is designed so as to minimise your chances of colouring outside the lines (thereby adding to your stress!) And the various text elements/titles were a hilarious addition to the experience.
Recommended to all introverts who needs to de-stress, as well as those who simply like adult colouring books.
I received a free copy of this book from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review
Introverts Unite to Color is exactly what I was looking for in a casual but humorous adult coloring book. The expressions totally capture the essence of what it means to be an introvert while providing varying degrees of complexity in the pictures. I cannot wait to get an actual copy and start coloring. I would also like to gift to several introvert friends so we can have the color party that will never happen!
I received a complimentary copy from the publisher via NetGalley and all opinions expressed are solely my own, freely given.
Introverts Unite to Color! But Separately and In Your Own Homes: A Comically Calming Adult Coloring Book for Introverts. This book was so on point and relatable. I liked and laughed at every page. I was sent an electronic copy of the book to review and I had to order a copy to color. One of my favorites is “I am a social Vegan. I avoid meet.”
Thank you to the author, publisher, and NetGalley for the Advanced Reader Copy (ARC) copy of this book and I am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
As an introvert who likes colouring books, I couldn't NOT pick this one up.
Introverts Unite to Color! (But Separately and In Your Own Homes) is a fun colouring book of slogans all about the fact that people are too peopley. The designs are simple text-based illustrations, backed with a plain page so colours/markers are less likely to leak through.
They're funny, relatable and a perfect gift for the introvert in your life (or yourself, because people - ugh)
~ Many thanks to NetGalley for a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review~
I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily. This is such a cool colouring book. Working through it was soothing and relaxing, great for mindfulness and grounding. The pages had a good mix of detailing and more simplistic colouring spaces and the slogans are funny and often sarcastic. I also loved the spare/blank page on the back of each colouring page that stopped two pictures from bleeding through the pages and blending which I have struggled to work with in other colouring books.
This was a nicely done coloring book. The pages were intricate but not overly so. The sayings were relatable and perfect for it. My favorite was the give me space with the space theme going on in the background. I like that the page behind the color page is blank so if markers are used you can put something under the page but you don’t have to worry about another picture being ruined. I liked that there was a blank of the cover inside the book as well. Overall very thought out and hit all the marks on what I would look for in a coloring book.
I read and went through the book the same day that I received it and so many of the pages did give me a little smile, I loved the messages that were used.
This is definitely a book I am going to be recommending and I loved the idea that you can pick the book up and do a couple of the pages as and when.
It is 5 stars from me for this one – very highly recommended!
Hahah this book is a riot! A short collection of clever introverty quotes set to coloring pages that will set the reader (artist?) chuckling as they work away.
Some of the quotes I'd heard before; others were new to me, and I enjoyed them all. The coloring designs present a variety of styles to meet all tastes.
Perfect for any introvert (or their friends) to do ... alone ... in their own homes. :D
I received an eARC of the book from the publisher via NetGalley. All opinions are my own.

If you’re looking for a coloring book targeting introverts, you’ll be happy to find it exists! Inside you will find a whole bunch of super cute and fun coloring pages with funny and relatable quotes. I really liked how fun and relatable many of the pages were, with a bunch of simple and aesthetically pleasing patterns to color in! My only issue is that the 17th coloring page says, “My spirit animal is a turtle we're both content in our shells.” It’s taking spirit animals, which are sacred to indigenous people, and totally taking it out of context. I’ve heard and seen this a lot over the years because a lot of people don’t know where spirit animals come from, so it’s entirely possible that the people behind this book are also unaware, but it was still sad to see this as a coloring page.
I'm prejudiced because I'm addicted to coloring books and I love good adult ones. This is a fantastic one, with patterns that are just complicated enough to be fun and comments about how wonderful it is to practice being an introvert. I highly recommend this to other people who enjoy adult coloring books. Thanks to NetGalley for letting me preview this.
This book is perfect for introverts! The punny title is a delight, as is the artwork inside, which features plenty of spreads for you to enjoy in the peace and quiet of your own company. Or maybe indulge in parallel play with your favourite human. The linework is clean, and the amount of detail is perfect, not so intricate as to be daunting, but enough to feel like it is for an adult.
This coloring book really cracked me up. The illustrations were simple and fun. You could use all your favorite colors to decorate the designs. The little sayings on each page really made me chuckle. They were witty and will definitely bring a smile to your face as you color. If you are an introvert, you’re going to like this one. Thank you for the eARC!
This was cute. It uses a lot of common introvert punchlines that you hear over and over again. Individual pages felt a little cluttered. I was curious about the content and if there would be anything new or extraordinary. It’s pretty ordinary. Thanks Net Galley for the ebook!!
