This book discusses the scientific reason why leaves change color from the spring to the fall. It talks about the reproduction of cells and the use of chlorophyll for many different types of trees. This book would be useful for young students as it highlights certain words and gives the pronunciation for vocabulary words with a glossary at the end.

I really liked this book because it had so much information about trees. I feel like its a good book to teach a very wide range of students about how the change of seasons also changes trees. It could very easily be split up into sections to make a full unit!
