Daniel Fingeroth (/ˈfɪŋɡərɔːθ/) is an American comic book writer and editor, best known for a long stint as group editor of the Spider-Man books at Marvel Comics.
Listen, it's not just Danny Fingeroth giving you a master's course in Marvel Comics worldbuilding, it's not just early and amazing Mark Bagley art bringing an early iteration of the webslinger that'd later define the golden era of his career, it might be the best What If? issue EVER. I've thought this since I was ten. Nothing's topped it. Some came close.
How does the symbiote carry Thor's hammer ? Is he worthy? How does so much go wrong in the marvel what if milieu? You would think that one death wouldn't lead to so many others .moo
Actual rating 3.7 stars. I liked how this story was about more than Spider-Man/ Peter Parker.
Not sure how accurate this is with today’s Venom but I liked the consequence of the symbiote stealing all of Peter’s energy, how that led to an emotional moment.
I even liked the fighting scenes! They had a bit of suspense and weren’t just boasts and corny lines.
I didn’t get why Black Bolt had to scream though. Like, wouldn’t a single word have been enough?
I loved the ending. It brings a depth to the Black Cat I don’t think we see often in the main comics.
