An Alien's Task

Rate this book
Alone in the desert, Bud Fletcher finds an abandoned car. Inside the car is the aftermath of a bizarre death. This makes Bud ask the question; is this a crime scene? Is this murder? The evidence is conflicting. The condition of the car, the lack of foot or tire prints around the car, the odd collection of articles in the driver’s briefcase and the car’s trunk only adds to the confusion.
Inside the briefcase is information appearing to support a special project. Bud decides enough information exists for him to continue the project. What is it for? Who is it for? Each step toward completion adds to Bud’s growing suspicions about the project and its originator.

Wasted talent. Exceptional technical talent blends with a boring ‘I LOVE LUCY’ sense of plot. Dictionaries make for more interesting reading. Terrific letdown.

Sadly a very disappointing read. Endless detail about pointless trivia. I am certain to avoid getting caught reading past two pages.

Awesome story, needs a sequel..!

We need to know what happened to the Fletchers parents and what happens when/if the Agency returns.
There is definitely a sequel here, maybe even a trilogy. I'll be waiting Mervin!
