William Tate MorrisonThe man who came into my life and turned my entire world—and me—on its ass.

Logan Mitchell has always been a man with a plan.
One for work. One for his relationship. And one for his life. Which is exactly the way he liked it—until recently.
Now with words like marriage and weddings floating around his head, Logan’s plans have suddenly changed course, and where they want him to go has him feeling somewhat distracted.

Tate Morrison knows Logan better than anybody else—or so he thinks. So when his lawyer is finding it hard to sleep at night, he chalks it up to the craziness that has recently descended on their lives.
Never in a million years would he guess what’s really on Logan’s mind.

Tate is the fifth book in the Temptation Series, and the next chapter in the lives of the two men we have all come to know and love.

5 STARS!!!!!!!!

It has been quite the ride with these two men. They were my introduction into the MM world and I fell head over heels in lurv with both of the men and the genre. Since then I have been drowning myself in this genre and enjoying every minute of it. So when I read there were going to be more books with my first MM couple I kind of flipped my lid. I was extremely excited. Who doesn't want more books with one of their favorite couples? And so far what I've read in the last two books I have not been disappointed. Especially with this one.

I think this book needed to happen. The things in this book needed to happen. I know people say that this series has too much sex and not enough story, but you can't say that with this book. Don't get me wrong, there was still some really hot steamy scenes that we haven't seen happen between these men, but the story was the vocal point. The author listened. And boy did she break my freaking heart. LOL

This one hits you right in the feels. I knew it was going to happen. I knew Tate was going to say what he said and I was dreading it. But I think it needed to happen because it's been too good between these guys that something like this was bound to happen and rock the love boat. And boy was it rocked. But it doesn't matter the storm these men dredge through they ALWAYS come out of it a stronger couple with a fierce love for each other that is untouchable. That is exactly what happened here. The floor moved beneath them and left them unbalanced, but they found their way back and were stronger for it.

The more I read about Tate and Logan the more in love I fall and the more greedy I get for more. I am extremely impatient for the next book because OMFG that ending! I literally screamed NO!!! when it ended. I.... I just can't believe that was it. So now I have to fill my time with other great reads (hopefully) until I get my next hit of L+T.

If your a fan of these men and this series then I highly recommend you read this and prepare your heart for the emotional toll it will take to get through it.

If you haven't read this series, WTF!? Get on it! If you are a die hard romance junkie like myself then there is no way you won't love this.

Happy reading dolls! xx

Well holy shit! This book...I think I need some anxiety medicine now. Or maybe a stiff drink...or two.
Why do this to me Ms Frank? 😰

I was a nervous wreck going into this book. I will admit, I read some spoilers and saw all the status updates so I knew the dreaded "53%" was going to be tough. And while it was, and I cried some tears here...I mean it was sad and my heart was breaking, anybody who has read these books knows Logan and Tate are solid. They work their shit out one way or another. It may take a while but eventually they talk and can move on.

These two are one of my all-time favorite couples ever. I love them and I love to see them at different points in their lives and moving on with life in general. They are truly soul mates.

But for the love of all that is holy!!! WTF with the end??? I mean it's good but still...now we have to wait hopefully not too long. I think I could read a hundred books about them. So, I will make sure to have my anxiety medicine filled and I will anxiously be waiting for the next one.

Thanks Sarah for budding reading with me so I could rant and cry with somebody! 😘

As I get ready to write this review, I feel like I might want to bring out my battle gear and get into my box of shame...

I just don't think these books are necessary and they are killing me because they are taking a power couple, Logan & Tate, and re-hashing old wounds, dragging their relationship through the mud and creating angst for us all, when we had previously tucked these beloved men away in a "Safe & Secure" HEA box. Now, we are reading books that really are not adding to the romance of L&T - or changing their HEA, but instead its like we are being exposed to all their dirty laundry and watching them work through it. Why?

What is the point of the story? That is something I ask myself as I read each story. Why is the author making characters go through certain trials and tribulations, does it add to character growth, does the situation add to the overall story and plot line, was it necessary to move the story forward?

As I read Tate I found myself pondering why we were reading an entire book about a couple situations that could have been relayed in 2-3 chapters? I found myself getting bored. I didn't care what happened to L&T - as long as I was getting closer to the end. Unnecessary. That word wraps up my feelings on books 4 & 5 of this series. I know I am alone in my thinking and that's okay.

At this point, I am not even sure I will read book 6 - part of me wants to just because I hate leaving a series unfinished, but a larger part of me just isn't excited at all about revisiting these characters again. That saddens me. Because I loved this series. I read books 1-3 several times and listened to them in audio - but these extra books, in this case, more is not better.

It's not that I don't still love L&T -- I will always love them. It's just that they are tucked away in their HEA box and thats where I, as a reader, think they are best kept.

**On a positive note, the sex between L&T is still fucking hot as ever and if nothing else this book makes for some awesome L&T erotica! Logan is still Logan and Tate is still very Tate ~ they compliment each other amazingly well! It was fun seeing the family from both sides and what their lives are doing – so this is not a total loss.**

I think I can't hide how much I love Ella Frank's boys Tate and Logan. They are so very special, each in his own way. I was really excited to find out how Logan would explore these new thoughts about his relationship with Tate.

The first sentences of the story say it all and it's pretty much the central theme of the whole book:

IT WAS STRANGE how a life could change in the blink of an eye. How someone’s perception of things could alter in a nanosecond due to one look or word depending on the mood or the timing, or even the person they were with. And sometimes, when that happened, there was no explaining why. It just… happened.

This not only explains why Logan changes his mind but also why the author chose to change the path for her characters. They are on the brink of starting a new chapter.

In the newest installment we see a little more angst and a lot more emotional scenes. There is no doubt that Tate and Logan have changed each other's life for the better, that they enrich each other's life. You think they are as solid as they can be and nothing can disrupt their state of bliss. And even when there is discord you have that absolute trust in them that things will be OK in the end. There is so much love that it can't be any other way.

Not only Logan explores his new feelings toward their relationship, Tate also has to re-think a lot of what he thought was a given and he has taken for granted so far. I felt for both of them, how they both struggled with all the new influences and situations. I wanted to hug them so bad. Logan in particular, who is always the most beautiful when he bares his soul. His snark and sarcasm are my second favorite thing about him. Tate's anguish was hard to watch, he had a tough time figuring out how to work through all the new situations - but as I said, you trust in their love being able to overcome anything.

“You and I, we’re a bit of a mess lately, aren’t we?” “A little bit.” Logan brought his hand up to cover the one on his cheek. “But there’s no one I’d rather get messy with.”

We get to hang out with the whole gang and we get a little more of Priest and Robbie and how their relationship hasn't improved. I am really looking forward for their personalities to crash into each other. There is a lot of hate-lust going on.
Robbie is coming back to his old sass which I loved to see. I actually like him now better than in the first installments because you can see a little bit maturity come through. There is also a tentative friendship developing between him and Tate, which I thought was lovely.

This definitely is Ella Frank's best installment so far and together with Trust the most emotional one. She shows us a bit of a different Tate and a solid Logan and a lot of mutual love and understanding between them. I adore their relationship so much, their connection and how they just work.

...and then he was falling all over again. Falling for the charm of the silver-tongued lawyer who’d picked him to sit down opposite that first night. Falling into a relationship he’d always wanted but never dreamed he would have. But most of all, he was falling in love with Logan all over again, just as he’d done every day since he’d known him.

I can't get enough of Ella's boys and it will be bittersweet to say goodbye to them when the next book will be out in January 2018. Until then I'm holding on to the warm fuzzy feeling she left me with.

Tate is the fifth installment in the Temptation series which must be read in order.

OMG I love these two guys SO MUCH they stole a piece of my heart years ago and it just gets bigger with each chapter I spend with them.

WOW this was an emotional read for me with all the emotions that both Logan and Tate feel throughout this instalment, I must admit I was scared there for a while. I wanted to give them both a hug and help them get sorted.

Logan and Tate make me blissfully happy I have a smile on my face while I read them with all the banter, flirting and of course the scorching hot bossy sex they have.

These two have evolved so much over the years they mature like a fine wine.

I loved the last few chapters having everyone spending time with the guys and Tate you made me cry happy tears.

Priest and Robbie what is going on there??? I cannot wait to dive into their story.

I can’t begin to express my love for this series and these two men. Sure, this series isn’t for everybody, and that’s more than okay, but I’m so damn happy that I discovered Ella Frank all those years ago, and subsequently, because of her, the wonderful world of M/M romance. Seriously, just thinking about an alternate universe version of me out there, walking around completely unaware of this book genre, makes me so god damn sad! Thank fuck for my reality, right!?

But I digress (again)…

Tate was another wonderfully fulfilling addition to this series. I’m obviously bias and clearly obsessed, but (in my opinion) Tate and Logan just go from strength to strength as a couple with each subsequent book. This one in particular was EMOTIONALLY CHARGED. I was legitimately squirming from the awkward at times and my heart ached for a solid 40% of the story, over multiple occurrences, all of which caused my face to leak and had me speed-reading to find out what would happen next to my boys. (Yes, my boys – back off, bitches! LMAO)

As many people have said (or complained about, in some cases), this isn’t really a series where all that much of anything substantial happens. Instead, it’s simply about two men who love each other fiercely, who spend their everyday lives working through regular old day-to-day problems, while tackling universal relationship issues and marking memorable milestones, together. For me, that is more than enough to keep me entertained and ridiculously happy. I’m a greedy romance reader, so when I love a book couple this passionately I’m more than happy to keep on reading about them just being them, well past the point most people pack it in and call it a day.

This review was probably not helpful in the slightest, but history has shown that I write utter drivel whenever I’m hard-core fangirling over something, so my blissful ramblings should come as no surprise to anyone.

Now, don’t mind me, I’ll just be over in the corner in a suspended state of impatience and giddiness as I die over the wait for the final book!

(Obviously) HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! <3

Another book and another emersion into the love between Logan and Tate. Who would have thought that Ella could continue to grow and expand on this couple so beautifully and so successfully. I am in awe.

We're back with our darlings Logan & Tate!
If you haven't read TRY & TAKE & TRUST & TEASE you should definitely do it now, before reading TATE!

description

We start basically right where we left them in the last book.
Logan is hiding his scary marriage thoughts from Tate.
The meeting with Tate's sister is getting closer.
The boys are thinking about getting a new place together.
Robbie and his troubles.
The office renovations.
Priest - the new partner at the firm and why he and Robbie can't stand each other?
Lots of stuff on our darlings' minds.
But they'll fight through everything together.

description

WASN'T THAT ADORABLE!?!

I just LOVED loved LOVED this book.
I never want this series to end! Can't we just make a Netflix show out of it and watch it every day for the rest of eternity?

TATE was so very sexy, funny, moving, adorable ... Just perfect!
I might have even cried on a few tiny little occasions.
There's so much going on in that book, but it's also not filled with unnecessary drama - even though we do have some drama! OY! 😟
I can't wait too see where the boys will take us in the last book in January!
Also, I want to be Tate and Logan when I grow up!

description

I loved every single adorable and funny and moving and erotic moment of this book!

description

I have a tiny little something to complain about... nothing bad - just something difficult for this confused bookalzheimer-sufferer....
I wish those book would've been written in the first person POV!
It gets sooo confusing for me when it's two guys talking and thinking - all those him's and his's and grrr - I sometimes didn't know who was thinking/doing/saying what. ☹

I was a bit hesitant about this book because I found the previous one a bit boring with not a lot going on. So I am happy to say this book was very enjoyable. Logan and Tate are such a good couple, happy to read another chapter in their lives. Only one book left in this series and now I’m going to be so sad when it’s over.

Story 4.5 stars
Audiobook 2.5 stars

I know I am way behind with this series, so I was thrilled when I finally had time to listen to this one. I honestly always loved both Logan and Tate, but in this story, I really wanted to smack Tate upside his head. Logan was a rock, as usual, and they had a lot of things to work through. So fair warning, buckle up, it’s definitely an emotional ride.

I listened to the audiobook, and honestly, I struggled from the beginning. I loved the voice of the narrator, except when it came to Tate. His voice almost sounded, well, cartoonish. I really tried to get used to it, and I admit there were times it wasn’t so bad, but then every once in a while, it annoyed me again. I think I will definitely read the next one.

All I'm gonna say is, I'm right here with my fingers crossed, praying that Ella Frank steps on a god damn Lego for the fucking shit show she slapped me in the face.

How dare she.

How fucking DARE Tate stupid o'fucking Morrison even exist to say his stupid words.

I can't believe that asshole made the same mistake TWICE.

MY LOGAN DESERVES BETTER.

William Tate Morrison.
God, just his name alone made Logan’s body undergo an immediate reaction. Whether it be a ridiculous smile on his face at the mention of it, or the urge to slide his damn hand between his legs because he wanted to groan it out loud. The person who belonged to that name had managed to completely alter what Logan had always assumed would be the trajectory of his life.

And by the bitterness rubbing off me and this sorry ass review, don't ask me why I'm rating this HIGHER THAN THIS SHOULD'VE DESERVED.

Well, I actually have an answer for that, and it is ONLY for the first 50% of this book that spoke, healed and trembled my soul with the delicate touches of sweetest nature found between Tate and Logan. And for the other half of this book? All my love, and fucking devotion goes to Logab Mitchell. Stupid William doesn't deserve him and he should fucking kiss the walk Logan walks on to even step into a non-nuclear section of me not wanting to bash his head.

(also, the amount of times I said FUCK YOU TATE overnight while I tried to regain my sanity is UNRIVALED)

initial reactions

I don't know who I hate more. Take fucking stupid ass Morrison, or Ella Frank who I so want to strangle.

hell if I know if I want to rate this 2 stars or 4.

Oh how I love my boys Logan and Tate! They are polar opposites, but fit together perfectly. Their dynamics always keep me coming back for more, even though I felt their love story became rather stagnant in the previous book, Tease. Now five books into the series, and things are back on track. I’m really happy with the way their relationship is progressing.

Tate’s interactions with his family have been all kinds of messed up throughout the course of the series. It is necessary and satisfying to confront the many cracks that have formed as a result of Tate’s evolution from a straight married man to a committed gay man.

Logan and Tate’s love for each other is more evident than ever. Their chemistry is still phenomenal, yet there’s a great deal of unease in addition to tenderness as they contemplate their future. I love how Tate and Logan share vulnerability and dominance. Even at his weakest, Logan maintains a confident swagger and snappy comebacks that are difficult to resist. Tate’s huge heart and openness makes him wildly attractive.

The story is filled with smiles, swoons, heat, and heart. There are some parts of the book that were slow going for me. However, as a whole it suits the very real nature of the couple’s complex love story quite nicely.

I’m excited to see how Tate and Logan’s story plays out. I am also dying to know what’s going on between Robbie, my favorite formerly flamboyant bartender, and Priest, Logan’s cold and enigmatic new law partner. I hope we get even more of them in the next book.

5 Brutal but Glorious Stars!!

My gawd. This sucker punched me. Hard.

I'm not saying that's necessarily a bad thing. Just be forewarned that this is kinda a 180 from Tease. Tease was just that - a peek into these two that was fun, sexy dirty, and just fabulous.

Here, though, it’s all emotions. Some were good, others were not. Be reassured that despite the tears, I was one happy reader at the end.

Overall, I just want to say that Tate and Logan have always held a special place in my heart, mostly because they were my first. And though over the years, I continued to love them for sentimentality sake (not to mention, they are shit hot) this right here?? THIS elevated them to so much more.

These two have weathered so many challenges and crises, and have come out on top where nothing could ever make them anything less. However, even they didn’t know there’s some fundamental baggage on both their parts that needed to be worked out before things can finally come together. AND holy begeezus! How the feels, turmoil, smex, and epic love just explode!!

Passionate, raw, intense.

This fucking slayed me.

January cannot come soon enough.

Sigh... I just love these men. And although this book is called Tate, I'm such a sucker for Logan. As arrogant and inappropriate he still is, he has become so much more....

The last book was sweet all over but this installment was so not. Ms Frank sure threw out a punch. Well actually Tate did.

There, in a bathroom that was built for sin, the passion eased and the fever simmered until the deeper, scarier feelings began to consume the two of them.

... he was falling all over again.

Falling for the charm of the silvertongued lawyer who'd picked him to sit down opposite that first night.

Falling into a relationship he'd always wanted but never dreamed he would have.

But most of all, he was falling in love with Logan all over again, just as he'd done every day since he'd known him.

NOW Tate understood.

"I dare you to try.
I think you're my truth
Terrify me

I'm so looking forward to the last installment. Also I would love a spin-off of Priest and Robbie. That is going to be awesome.

Tate, bad-boy bartender and Logan, the sophisticated, sexy attorney, are one of the“celebrity” book couples of MM erotic romance, in my opinion. The GFY/OFY/BiFY trope was taken to new heights in the first trilogy and it's fun returning after 4 years to have Ella Frank tease us about an ultimate HEA for these two. This novel includes a lot of changes in Tate and Logan’s lives with new people and new locations, plus issues appearing from the past, that Tate has to face. It can be difficult for anyone to maintain their equilibrium in the face of major upheavals. Tate and Logan face an unexpected obstacle that tests their bonds, and caused me to consider hurling my tablet into the wall. Be prepared and have tissues at the ready!

I had to give this one some thought though. While the story still has all the same chemistry and heat, their characters in the latter half of the book didn't feel quite the same. The plot gave plenty of reasons to account for such a shift, yet their actions still didn't quite match my expectations. It was nothing major, just something that made my brain itch and other readers will probably never notice a thing. I think we will all agree that the erotic content is hotter than ever! Up-against-a-pillar-suit-porn FTW! Most of the secondary characters from prior books have roles in this one, and there's a definite build up for a spin-off story with Robbie.

Tease, book four, was quite aptly named since there wasn't much action, but it refreshed the characters and set up all the elements to make this book pivotal. It's easy to strongly recommend this to the legions of fans that want to see Tate and Logan’s journey continue and to the new readers that will get the whole experience. Now I shall commence to tap my foot impatiently for the next chapter of Tate and Logan’s lives.

** 4.5 fan-girling stars **

Ella Frank did it again and brought back one of the hottest couples I’ve read with off the charts chemistry, dirty talk and great banter.

The intensity and pleasure I had reading the first 2 books of this series was there is spade again. And while I liked the previous book Tease as it was nice to reacquaint with Tate and Logan 4 years after their HEA, I found it a bit bland. No worry here and no absurd drama either.

Tate is as arrogant as ever, although he’s brought on his knees by Tate every single time they spend together or he think about him and Tate is as stubborn as ever. They navigate in their relationship with all their previous baggage on their shoulders but not ready to give up on their love for each other. However, they have to deal with their powerful and additional emotions and it can be unexpected, awkward and a punch in the guts.

And give them all the stars for holly hawtness in claiming each other (I’m all in christening new offices or abandoned drive-in). That’s a trademark for them.

A nice plus : some resolution on the family side and some teasing with what I expect to be the center of a next story : Robbie and Priest.

As Natalie said, I’m now taping my foot until next January to witness the rest of their journey (no cliffie per se but there is much more to come) and meanwhile, I may read for a third time Try and Take to keep me hot during winter times.

Oh, how I love Logan and Tate. Their relationship is never boring and this installment had everything the previous book Tease lacked. Five books in and I found new sides to Logan and Tate. They keep evolving as people and in their relationship.
Their love and chemistry is so palpable and is just one of the things I love about this series. Also their trust and how comfortable and supportive they are of one another is heartwarming and so beautiful.

Tate's family and he and Logan's friends play a central role in Tate and I enjoyed every moment. They also show how important they are to Logan and Tate and vice versa. I have to say that Tate's father Will, his friendship with Logan definitely made me emotional because of the lacking father figure in Logan's life.
Logan and Tate have been together for a long time now, 4 years, and now they're both feeling content and secure in their relationship. I was eagerly awaiting the next step and I wasn't disappointed. I expected a conflict cause I needed some light angst and I got it. It only made me love these men even more to feel and watch them fight for their relationship.

The ending only left me wanting more and in a positive and exciting way. Ella Frank knows how to write m/m romance. Tate is the fifth book in the Temptation series and it's still going strong in my opinion thanks to some well developed and layered characters. Logan and Tate will forever have a piece of my heart and I'm very content with waiting for the next book. Tate is that good and these men are worth waiting for.

One of the things for me which makes a good romance is how much of the time reading it I have a big smile on my face.

Well, with the exception of one moment where the smile dropped and I actually gasped out loud, this book just made me smile.

I wasn't sure if Ella would be able to match the intensity of the first three books in this series but with this new trilogy the lives of Logan and Tate are simply gaining more flesh.

There's no great storyline being revealed, no huge adventure or gripping tension, instead we see two men continuing to navigate their way through the complexities of love and relationships.

Logan and Tate together are a force, they're an epic love, they're all the romanticism you'd want, they're also flawed and human. Tate inadvertently hurts Logan and my heart broke alongside his.

But, you know these two are creatures who mate for life and the good memories come back to smooth over the pain and leave the reader waiting eagerly for the final part of the trilogy.

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 because of Logan ❤️. Tate you’re still my favorite tough 😂❤️. I have to admit that for me Tate and Logan story was finished in the third book. So I wasn’t really ok with three more books. But THIS book. So good. Really. It’s really about Tate (the title 😂) but Logan is just the center of it. And they are cute as hell (I was crying in the end 😍). Logan is adorable as ever. Tate is struggling with his family, his friends and his new life BUT even in a total chaos one thing never change: these two ? They can’t breath without the other. It’a like their love for each other can beat anything. In the end I was really amazed by it. I really love this. I was suffering with them, laughing with them, crying with them. I love them. Can’t wait for the sixth book. Can’t wait for Priest and Robbie too. Really. 2018.

Seriously did it have to end like that ???? These two just hit me in the heart every time. Logan finally puts himself out there, the ultimate in vulnerability and Tate does the unexpected.... what follows is eggshells and angst which I HATED ! No spoilers here but this was sexy, hot but emotionally tough at times so please, please, please can the next book be pain free ??? I don't care if Priest & Robbie have angst - but Logan & Tate need rainbows and all things glorious ! Yes, I really enjoyed this book ❤️

THIS COUPLE..!!

It is not about the story or the plot anymore for me. IT IS ABOUT LOGAN AND TATE.

It is about the chance to read about them again. It is about getting a small glimpse in their life through these few pages that the author writes.
I wish I could get an everyday snippet on what they are doing, but well.. Beggars can't be choosers.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVED LOVED LOVED LOGAN MITCHELL IN THIS BOOK. There has never been a more sexy, confident, dirty and more vulnerable character I have read before. I Loved to see him grow. I loved his strength. I loved how understanding and forgiving he was.

I even loved TATE MORRISON. It was amazing to see him reconnecting with his family. I loved that the author showed that he is not perfect. Logan is not the only one with emotional stuff to deal with. Tate has his own insecurities and we get to see how, by not discussing those insecurities in the previous books and putting them under the rug, that they affected the couple in the present time.

Steam - I have to accept here that I did skip over a few sex scenes in the last book .But WOW.. The sex in this book was far better than the last 2 books. It was a lot more emotional and heart warming. It was also a lot dirtier... ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT..!!

I DON'T WANT THE SERIES TO END. I hope the pace of the next book is a lot faster and we don't get stuck with one issue. I want to see a lot more of their life.

⋰⋱⋰⋱⋰⋱*Another unnecessary read*⋰⋱⋰⋱⋰⋱

We are now on the fifth book of Logan Mitchell (37, turns 38) and bartender Tate Morrison (32-33-34?). One of them is ready to take it to the next step, shockingly the other one is taken by surprise. Not a good one. This twist was alright (it didn't shock me, in fact I expected that it would happen), I liked to feel something other than lovey-dovey that the couple is feeling, I just didn't like how short it lasted. It should've lasted more than a couple of days to make an impact on the characters. I also Didn't like that they seems to 'get over it' so fast.

“From the very beginning I had a plan for my life. But it wasn’t until we met that I knew it was you.”

I like to sometimes feel the pain of the characters, like when Tate got in a accident, you felt Logan's pain. You can feel the love through how much pain they are in and more pain is what this book needed. Less sex. Yes, I said that. There's too much focus on the sex than the story. In fact, there's barely any story at all. There's sex, sex, sex, family dinner, sex, sex... Overall, it was predictable, boring, cute and too much sex. It's like taking one step forward then two steps back with these two; you're not getting anywhere. I need to be done with this couple.

“Logan took hold of his chin then bent over and said against Tate’s lips, “You’re mine. Now, tomorrow, fifty fucking years from this very moment. And by the time we leave here, there will be no room for doubt. Do you understand?”

Other characters:
Cole Madison, Logan's (half) brother and business partner at the law firm, Mitchell & Madison. Rachel ‘Rach’, a pastry chef and Cole's wife. Has two kids; Thomas (4?) and his little sister, Lila (2 and a half).
Diana Cline, Tate’s ex-wife. A bitch.
Jill, Tate's sister. Is trying to fix her mistakes, to apologize to Tate. Her husband, Sam. Cooper (11) and Jonathon ‘Jon’, their kids.
Will Morrison, Tate's father who is awesome and accepting.
Mason ‘Mase’ Langley, Rachel’s brother and runs the restaurant Exquisite downtown, which he and Rachel owns. Has a little girl named Catherine. His wife Lena, a pediatrician.
Joshua ‘Josh’ Daniels, a client and friend of Cole’s. Has a daughter named Savannah. He owns Creative Construction & Remodeling Company (I think). His wife Shelly, a pulmonologist.
Robert ‘Robbie’ Bianchi (29), a complete flirt. Used to work at The Daily Grind as a barista. The new bar manager at The Popped Cherry; bar owned by Tate and Logan.
Christopher ‘Chris’ Walker, Logan's ex and a abusive (with words), manipulative bastard. Owns half of the biggest architecture firm in Chicago.
Evelyn Mitchell, Logan’s mother. A bad, selfish mother.
Daniel Finley, lawyer at Leighton & Associates; the best in the business when it came to personal injury claims.
Joel ‘Priest’ Priestley, the best criminal law attorney. Is now a third partner at the law firm, Mitchell & Madison. A mystery and
Sherry, Logan's PA.

It’s so fucking ridiculous that in this day and age people are still so narrow-minded. So judgmental. What should it matter who we love? Who we’re attracted to? Pisses me off.”
“Pisses me off too,” Tate said.
Robbie huffed and then a devious smile quirked his lips. “Then don’t let them win.”

Quick basic facts:
Genre: - (Adult) Contemporary Romance (M/M)

Thanks to Christelle I actually 'tried'. I wasn't going to after the disappointment of book 4.
But I am glad I did. I 'took' the book and 'trusted'. (Sorry, I just had to go for this... XD)

This was Logan and Tate at their best. The naughty banter and the essence of their relationship (lots of heat and intensity, nicely mixed with playfulness and genuine feeling), just as we remember it from the first tree books, is back. Thank you, Ella Frank! Big sigh of relief!

Tate is at a very exciting stage of his life. Moving to a place he and Logan picked together is special. And he is so happy, he can allow himself to look at the past and what he left behind when he decided to be with Logan. The friends he hasn't met since then. His nephews, his sister. Him 'coming out' to all those people after so many years. It is not an easy propsect, but felt totally organic as a 'next' step.

And, although this is essentially Tate's book, Logan was just so delightful, it eclipsed almost anything else. (well, only almost!) He is a man turned more than 180 degrees (if that was possible!). I LOVED all his soul searching and realizations about himself.

Okay, the happenings at 53 % come as a total surprise and hit me straight in my unsuspecting heart. I mean, WHAT??? Not sure, if that was totally in character, but it made for great reading! And it added enough drama and that teeny bit of angst to spice things up.So I didn't really mind. I felt so gutted for Logan, so heart broken, and found it difficult to come up with the same generosity and forgiveness as him. Even though I understood Tate's reasons for his actions.

So yes, I will read the last book. How can I not, after coming so far with these two!

Loved, Loved Logan and Tate

Falling into a relationship he'd always wanted but never dreamed he would have.
But most of all, he was falling in love with Logan all over again, just as he'd done every day since he'd known him.

This book was perfection, ok maybe that's just me, some readers might like this series some might not but when it comes to Logan and Tate, i will always be in their favor.

Not much to add that has not already been said.

This was an emotional roller-coaster, it was fantastic, heart breaking and damn right perfect. The sex and the dirty talk was hot as usual. The chemistry off the charts.

We get to see the growth in Logan and Tate's relationship, their fears and most of all their love for each-other, when something was wrong they talked, no unnecessary miscommunication dealt with everything as adult.

The first half was all roses and rainbows

“To Tate, From the very beginning I had a plan for my life. But it wasn’t until we met that I knew it was you."

description

And then without warning everything crumbled and i was like wait:

description

My heart broke for one of my favorite couple, i wanted to wrap Logan in a tight hug, wanted to smack Tate but also to assure him everything was going to be fine.

Tate pointed to the clothes Logan was wearing. “Only thing you could find last night, huh?”
“No,” Logan said as he headed to the boxes with his name marked on them. “It was the closest thing to having you here. They smell like you.”

I Loved it! Love it . Since i can't choose between Logan & Tate and Ty & Zane i have decided they share no. 1 for my favorite M/M couple.

Now i just have sit here and wait for Jan 2018.

This book revolves around the word: NO!

Yup....

I just LOVE Logan in this book. How vulnerable he is, how sweet and how loving. How he's devoted to Tate and the complete 180 he did.

Meeting him in book 1, you would have never though that he might change that much, transform from the ultimate play boy to the ultimate romantic.

It's also lovely to see Robbie and Priest and the tension there!

Also the steam!!!

Onto book 6!

PS... was this book necessary? No! Still don't care. Love Logan and Tate.

Oh my god, my heart!!!! I was NOT expecting that, and I cried!!!

Can't wait for the next one.

I also cannot wait to see how Robbie and Priest get together, the antagonising behaviour is just making me laugh so much, Robbie needs foot stomping lessons from Posh 😂

I belive that after I read the word NO from Tate's mouth my heart almost stoped.
Logan and Tate are the real deal in MM world and after knowing them so long I wish them all the best, but is it realy necessary to drag this series for so long???
Somehow, it destroys all the charm that was until now.
