I liked this book from Sonia Weyers. Happiness really can be found in the rituals and routines and with the ideas this book, I was able to establish both. I'll love having this book in my library and will definitely reference it often.

A book chock full of tips and tools to assist people to be happy or happier. I knew about meditation and gratitude but was interested on the section on forgiveness. I am not sure I understood the point of the action steps in the last part of the book, it seemed like it was repetition of earlier information, but they may be useful for some people. All in all, I recommend this easy to read and immensely positive book to anyone who is interested in having a more fulfilling life.

A guidebook for well-being

Each chapter has a short task to perform. Some are as easy as one-minute meditation, while others are setting up morning and evening routines. These will slowly add up to better well-being and happiness. There is a workbook that can be downloaded as well.

I don't know where to start... This book is my bedside reading. I turn to it to remind myself that happiness is at all times at hand, if we just keep at it in a loving and open-hearted way. I kept taking notes because it talks to me (and I am no newcomer in self-development!). It accompanies me on my path.

I really like the idea that your emotions are a language from you to yourself. I struggle with happiness because of my childhood. I tend to also hang onto anger at those who wronged me. It was the emotional health section which spoke to me the most. I tend to create "familiar emotional atmospheres" for myself in more areas than just relationships. I am seeking insight and liberation from my past pain in studying this book. It is interesting, I had heard about "breathing" before as a way to control emotions but I had a lightbulb moment when I read "breathing is directly linked to your emotions".
