A heartwarming, sexy, and hilarious romance with texting, banter, and the Running Man...
Me: How did you get this number, Joe Silver? Him: I Googled you. Me: Wow, I'd make a terrible secret agent. Him: Lucky me.
I fell in love with Joe Silver when I was 16 and told him when I was 17. He didn't return my feelings... at all. My broken heart lead me to making one bad decision after another, eventually marrying the worst guy ever.
It's been 14 years; I'm divorced, own a successful salon, and I'm so over Joe Silver. So why do my knees go weak the moment he saunters back into my little town?
And why has texting with him become the best part of my day?
I should be wary. I should be careful. I should guard my battered heart.
But I really don't want to.
All I want to do is savor the slow, delicious burn of falling for Joe all over again.
I only hope this time he's falling right along with me.
Cut Short is a small town, slow burn, STANDALONE second chance romance that is high on swoony and funny moments, and low on angst (but just enough!).... plus some rad nineties dance moves.
Sometimes I read a book that the story doesn’t completely work for me but there’s something about the author’s writing that keeps me going and makes me finish and that’s what happened with Cut Short by Julia Wolf. I was attracted to this story because the couple is over 35, but unfortunately their actions were more young 20’s and that was just the first problem. I guess this could be considered a second chance romance since the couple met when she was in high school and he was just out of high school with three years separating them. They had a friendship, she wanted more and he broke her heart in an email and forever became email Joe which led her on a path of marrying the wrong guy and staying married to an emotional and verbally abusive man for way too many years which she of course blames on email Joe. Joe goes on to get his college degree have a series of girlfriends who he later calls placeholders and then tracks down Rachel when he is offered a job back in Baltimore hoping to reconnect. Sounds like a pretty great story right? It could have been, with better editing. I get they had history, but it was over a decade ago and they rehash it ad neuseam and it gets very old, very quickly.
Rachel now divorced for two years although she admits over and over she should have left her ex-husband sooner (but that email ) is now living in a quaint small town she once lived with her mom dreaming of buying the “stone house” she’s wanted for years and working in the hair salon she now co-owns since her divorce. She’s got a bubbly personality, she’s a bit type A in that she works seven days a week because she can’t let go, she loves her work and her friends and honestly seems like a fun woman to hang out with, but she is still hung up on something that happened when she was 17 and I seriously want to give her the Moonstruck treatment and tell her to snap out of it.
Joe is living in New York where he went to college and never left, he is a middle school band teacher and much beloved by his students, he has a core group of friends in New York and has been in and out of relationships his whole adult life. Accepting a job in Baltimore he has decided to buy a home in the small town of Tiber City and although he never admits it I feel certain it is because he knows that’s where Rachel now resides. While all the women in this book thought Joe’s attentiveness towards Rachel was dreamy and him being a great guy, I found it quite frankly to be a bit stalkerish and as Rachel had just gotten out of an abusive relationship, I honestly don’t see how she wasn’t the least bit concerned that he admitted he’d kept tabs on her through social media, that he knew where she was working and hoped by going there he’d run into her, and the aforementioned fact he bought a house (btw, the “stone house” Rachel always wanted) in the town where she lived (coincidence I think not).
Despite all my reservations I did like Rachel and Joe together and the fact that they didn’t jump into a relationship right off the bat mainly because Rachel didn’t trust him after that email (from 14 years ago). They took some time getting to know one another as adults and sharing bits and pieces of their past and seeing each other when they could as Joe was still living in New York. Once he moved their relationship kicked into high gear but the insecurities were still there. Their communication skills were somewhat lacking for people their supposed age, but somehow they managed to finally figure it out with the help of some sage advice from a character I expect to see in future books.
Cut Short had multiple problems that sent up red flags for me, yet there was something about the characters including the supporting ones that intrigued me, and there were parts of this story I did enjoy, so while the book itself was more of a miss than a hit, I am going to give the next book in the series a try and see how it goes.
Cut Short was supposed to be a BR for me but I totally slacked off. In it, you will meet Joe and Rachel. I guess you can say it was sort of insta-love, since Rachel sort of fell in love with Joe pretty quickly. However, things didn't really work out for them when they were kids.. because they were kids.
Years later, they wound up in each other's lives again. Now they are both different and they both grew up. I was wondering what was going to happen once they met up again.. and it was really cute. Rachel wasn't really prepared for Joe that day that they saw each other.. but then again, is anyone ever really prepared when someone from their past comes back? Nope. Never.
Their chemistry and the romance was pretty cute. I will admit, that I also laughed a ton as well. I enjoyed them more than I thought I was going to and I can definitely see myself diving into the second book of this series. At first, Rachel was okay but once Joe came into her life.. I liked her a lot more than I did in the beginning.
Overall, it had it's funny, sweet, and hot moments. These two were a great fit and a fun couple to fall in love with.
DNF at 56% I would caution both queer readers and survivors of abusive relationships to read the content warnings before trying this book.

I am very disappointed in this book. I loved the author's Chanukah romance, Eight Cozy Nights. I was so excited to find an author who wrote good romantic comedies with Jewish MCs, and wanted to read the entire series from the beginning. As a Jewish reader, it's so rare to find romances where both MCs are Jewish. And this was funny, the MCs had great chemistry, it was a lovely read, until the halfway point. So I am very sad to DNF this book, and that my feeling about this series has soured because of this book.
Unfortunately, there is a troubling plot twist at the center of this book that needs spoilers to explain.
So not only do we have a queer hating stereotype, we also have a very false and misleading representation of abuse in this story. As a queer abuse survivor, I am appalled by this plot twist. As a queer reader, I found it hurtful to read this, and am choosing to not continue reading. It feels very clear that the world of this book/series is deeply hostile to me as a queer reader.
I absolutely enjoyed Cut Short- it was a comedy because I was laughing at the girls dialogue so much! I can't say it enough- they reminded me of me and my girlfriends and us discussing our relationships. This book was a breath of fresh air for me- nothing too heavy and a great love story! Rachel and Joe met when they were younger, but the timing was just all wrong. It didn't mean that each of their feelings were valid or strong enough, just that it wouldn't have been the right time to get together- and I can totally respect that. It does suck that Rachel had to go through an awful marriage, but in the end, it always works out like it supposed to- and that's why I love it! I think the best kind of love is old love and their love goes way back. Rachel is a hair dresser and has started life over after a divorce. Joe is moving to town and he just so happens to buy the house that Rachel has always dreamed of owning. When they cross paths again- hilarious times ensue, but from pretty much there on out, they are inseparable. There were times when I was reading, I wasn't sure if Joe was really into Rachel, so it definitely kept me wanting to turn the page. The ANGST! and like I mentioned earlier- not only was this a good story, but it was a HILARIOUS one- the dialogue seriously made up the best parts of the book. I loved all of the characters and each one was so relateable- we all have friends like Rachel's friends - they are supportive and they are great friends. Joe and Rachel took my heart by surprise and kept me laughing for the time I was reading the book and because of that I give this book 4.5 stars. This was the first book that I read by this author, but hopefully it won't be the last. I truly enjoyed the writing and can't wait to see what is next.
I loved this book! I couldn't put down. I laughed so hard I cried!
Joe and Rachel met when they were young, she was 16 and he was 19, and they liked each other but didn't act on it. Rachel sent Joe an email and told him how she felt. He felt the same way but told her he didn't cause he was scared. Needless to say they went their separate ways and started careers and lives. Including messed up relationship's and marriage's.
Then Joe turns up at the salon where Rachel works and it goes from there.
This book was really great and getting to their HEA was great and fun.
This book was exactly what I needed. Small town, 2nd chance, low angst romance with great characters, fantastic chemistry, great buildup between characters, great supporting characters, and just plain funny at times. Rachel is making a name for herself and is a self professed work a holic after her divorce. One day, she runs into "email Joe", a man from her past that she has been unable to forget about. Joe is moving to their town, and pursues Rachel. He let her get away once, he won't let it happen again. The side characters are great and pave the way for more in the series. I will be reading on!
Rachel Sachs finally has her life together— almost. She owns a salon in the town she's always loved, dances the Running Man like nobody's business, has regular wine nights with her girls, and does really good hair....Until she sees Joe Silver— the object of her high school obsession and the breaker of her young heart. That might be a little too real.Fourteen years ago, Rachel ghosted when Joe made it clear she'd never have him. But now? He's not letting her get away. And soon they're right back to where they started, only instead of the all night instant messaging they did in high school, they're blowing up each other's phones with texts.
Rachel has always loved Joe. When he rejected her she fell into the arms of a man who actually wanted her. After years in a miserable marriage Rachel has managed to follow her dreams. She has her own place and is a co-owner of a salon. One fateful day she runs into Joe. She realizes there is still a spark there. Joe goes out of his way to reconnect with Rachel. When Rachel finds out Joe is moving to her town and into the house she loves, she is excited and nervous. Unfortunately past hurts and insecurities hold Rachel back from giving Joe her all. Despite this Joe continues to peruse Rachel and does his best to show her that he is the man she needs.
I loved this book. Every page had my rapt attention. I understood Rachel's hesitation with Joe and while there was a point where she may have overreacted, even that was understandable. Rachel is a woman who has spent a lot of time rebuilding her confidence and independence. Joe is a dream man. He is handsome, sweet, thoughtful and all around great. He wants Rachel just the way she is. He even dropped everything to be there for her when she needs him (swoon). I was rooting for him the entire time. When Rachel's ex showed up I wanted to punch him. The fact Joe wasn't there to do it was frustrating. Rachel has pretty awesome friends. They made the story even better. This book is a definite 5 star for me. I hope that Eliza and Frannie get their own book
Taking chances. I'm not a risk taker, so as much as I would love to write the next great American romance novel, my fear is still too intense. I admire writers today for following their need to tell a story, their passion for writing, and their willingness to take a chance. When I was given an opportunity to read the debut novel from Julia Wolf, I jumped! I'm a sucker for second chance romances, and this sounded perfect!
Cut Short is the story of Rachel and Joe, teenage friends after a night of great music and bonding over soundtracks. When the 16-year-old Rachel admitted to having feelings for the 19-year-old Joe, things didn't go quite as planned. Fast forward 14 years, a few failed relationships, and a whole bunch of insecurity, the older and wiser Rachel reunites with the older and wiser Joe. They resume their old friendship and take a chance on becoming so much more.
Ms. Wolf created a lovely and relatable character with Rachel. She's a smart, dedicated to her craft, creative lady who can give Tabatha Coffey a run for her money with hair styling. For all her sensibility and intelligence, Rachel has made bad decisions when it comes to love. Ms. Wolf also gave us one of the best female friendships I've read in a long time. Eliza and Frannie are the gal pals we all want. I'm hoping we'll get more in-depth stories for them!
As much as I love the unique story and the character development, there were times when I felt the dialogue remained a bit juvenile. The interaction between Rachel and Joe was sweet, and their sexy times were steamy, but the conversations between them at 30 and 33, respectively, felt too similar to their conversations at 16 and 19. I do think aging dialogue as characters age can be difficult for any author. However, minor dialogue issues should not be the reason to prevent a reader from taking a chance on Cut Short. It's worth the risk!
Cut Short is a sugary sweet read with some hilarious moments and second chances. Sigh. This book. I feel like I've been wrapped up in a big ball of cotton candy. I'm left with a sugar high after reading it. It's so deliciously sweet. Rachel fell in love at the age of seventeen. Also got her heartbroken at the same time. Fast forward years later and guess who is in town? Email Joe. The one who broke her heart. After a few misunderstandings they give spending time together another go.
Everything about this story has you captivated. Rachel has an amazing group of friends. All of them are supportive and really take care of Rachel (not that she needs it). Rachel is such a strong woman, she goes through hell in a past marriage but is now a bright and bubbly woman who makes everyone gravitate to her. Joe is an exceptionally easy going, sweet, gorgeous, and amazing man. He deals with Rachel's insecurities so well and makes you want him to give tips to your own man. He's easily lovable. Both him and Rachel are.
I can't get enough of this book. I loved it beyond belief and didn't realize I really needed a sweet read right now. The writing, banter, characters, everything will grip you tight and not let go. It's a definite five star and I'm telling everyone I know to READ IT!
This is the first story I have read by this author and I really enjoyed it!
That's the theme of this story, the sublime. It's the story of Joe and Rachel. They met when they were younger and a great friendship was born. But because of immaturity words were written that were hurtful and they drift apart.
Flash forward over a decade later and they run into each other again.
Rachel is coming into her own, life after Joe has been a debacle and she has persevered with grace and sassiness. Doing things she wants and thriving.
Joe is just wow, he is everything that Rachel doesn't know she needs, or maybe she did?
Rachel's friends are amazing and I wish I had girlfriends like that! In fact I hope the future brings more of Frannie and Eliza stories!
This is a easy to read, fun story with heart and humor! I am so glad to have had the opportunity to read it! Sometimes you need a story that is like a palate cleanser for the world around you and this story does that! It's a breath of fresh air!
I'll just end with my favorite line in the story "We're the sunflowers...."
I have never read anything by Julia Wolf before and what an introduction to her work. I freaking loved Joe and Rachel's story. My emotions were completely involved throughout the whole book be that from laughing, raging, crying, swooning. I was feeling a crazy amount of emotions with this book. This book isn't a boom there together from the beginning book. This book is a slow burn that as such a great journey.
These two have a history that they both tend to ignore and try to start their friendship again. Both have had lives in the 12 or so years since they last spoke. Moving on may not be as easy as they hoped and if they hope to have any kind of relationship be that a friendship or more then keeping it swept up under the rug may not work.
This book is about self-discovery, learning to move on from past hurts, opening yourself up to others, learning to hear both sides of the story and some serious friendship. This is a must read and I can't wait for the next in this series and more from Julia Wolf.
I thoroughly enjoyed this second chance romance by author Julia Wolf!
Cut Short is the story of Joe and Rachel, two characters who were friends when they were younger until Rachel's feelings grew into more. Because of the age difference and other factors Joe tries to let her down gently. Now it is several years later and Joe is back.
This was such a sweet, funny charming read! The characters were so amazingly likeable and relatable. Rachel came off funny, witty, and so down to earth. Joe was charming, considerate, and sweet. Plus the secondary characters were just as entertaining! Eliza and Frannie must have their own stories told!
Julia Wolf gave us an entertaining story with a great plot line that seemed to flow effortlessly. Cut Short is such an easy read that it just keeps you entertained because of the pure goodness of it. This was my first time reading her and I can't wait to read more!
I really enjoyed this book. It was a cute friends to lovers tale with 15 years in between. Rachel was in love with Joe from the minute she met him. However, with them being so young Joe had emailed her saying he just wanted to be friends. This event created his nickname Email Joe. So when 15 years later, after a failed marriage, her stone house being bought by someone else, and finding her new groove as a hairstylist Rachel was not ready for Joe to be sitting in her salon. But what we find out is that not everything is always as it seems when we are young. Sometimes the best things are worth waiting for. Rachel is blessed to have friends who love her and are truly there for her best interest. They help each other through hard times and just offer to be there even when the person is not ready to leave like Eliza and her jerk of a husband Edward. Joe is a sweet, caring and thoughtful man. I would hope that everyone finds their Joe. He will drop everything, drive across state lines just to bring the love of his life ice cream and mashed potatoes.
What happens when love is born young, lost, and then renewed in maturity? What is it about that heart wrenching feeling deep down… the one that stings for the rest of your days? And, when do we know for sure that we have met “the one”?
Julia Wolf puts all those questions out there and then gives us answers in a most delightful way. Some of those answers are hard to deal with, but others come easier. And what we all discover is, time is a great educator…even if we don’t have all our ducks in a row.
Angst, excitement, humor, anticipation and exhilaration are but a few if the emotions you will feel with this story. You will fall in love with Rachel as she is identifiable in those around us today as well as those we may have grown up with. Many will say Joe is the typical male. All I can say is, I’m glad he got his head out of his butt, and got right with his program…haha. And it is good they both got it figured out together.
Julia, what a great story and well worth the 5-stars I give it.
I really enjoyed this book. I wasn't sure at first, especially because Julia Wolf is a new to me author, but I'm so glad that I gave it a shot. Her writing is much more seasoned than I would have expected for this being her first full-length novel.
This is the story of Joe "Email Joe" Silver and Rachel Sachs. They first meet when Rachel is in high school and Joe is a sophomore at NYU. They have a connection right away, but when Rachel musters up the courage to email Joe about how she feels, he tells her that he wants to stay friends. Fast forward 14 years, Rachel has just gotten out of a bad marriage, and Joe is getting ready to move to her little town. They become friends again via text messages and video chats until he actually makes the move.
I really liked Joe. He was a wonderful guy, and treated Rachel so well (except for that email in college). I liked Rachel, as well, although she was a little more annoying to me. I didn't like her nickname for Joe ("buster"), and at times she and her friends came across a little immature. I did like Joe and Rachel together.
I'm glad I took a chance on this new author. She is very promising, and I look forward to more from her!
OMFG!!! JULIA WOLF is a First time AUTHOR for me and She Had Me at the Very First chapter alone!! CUT SHORT is a Standalone and it was a Refreshing Second chance Romance! Rachel and Email Joe are too hilarious and their friendship grows throughout the years. Their relationship starts to grow after spending time again after fourteen years ago. This Book will have you Laughing Out Loud and can Relate to events happening in their Lives! This is a Book that you WILL NOT WANT TO PUT DOWN and Instantly wanna know what is going to happen between a Sexy Musician/ Music teacher and a Hair Stylist. Their Chemistry is Such a Slow Burn but their Humor is too funny. At times, I wanted to Scream at them but Love them all the way to the END!! THIS IS A MUST READ BOOK AND CANNOT WAIT to Read More from this Author- Julia Wolf!! DEFINITELY WILL NOT DISAPPOINT YOU!! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
I fell in love with Joe Silver at sixteen, and told him when I was seventeen. He didn't return my feelings...at all. My wounded heart led me to make one bad decision after another-like falling into the arms of the worst guy ever.
Fourteen year later, I'm divorced, own a successful salon, and I'm so over Joe Silver. So why do my knees go weak the moment I see him, sauntering into my little town? And why has texting with him become the best part of my day?
I should be wary.
I should be careful.
I should guard my battered heart.
But I really don't want to. All I want is to savor the slow, delicious burn of falling for Joe Silver all over again.
Rachel, our leading lady, Frannie and Eliza have formed a tight bond and friendship in their lives and business. These girls are the crazy kind of women you might like to have for your own gal pals!! They are all hairdressers at Salon 410 in the quaint and beautiful town of Tiber City, Maryland.
Rachel sees someone from long ago, here in her town, a boy she crushed on, now gorgeous man, the one that got away and broke her heart in the process. She is a nervous wreck...the doubt creeps in, as it often does for Rachel.
Joe Silver is that man, shocked to see the awkwardly lovely, funny and beautiful girl who capture his eye back in the day, then ghosted him and disappeared from his life. BUT, she's right here in front of him, right now, all these years later and she looks sooo good. So what does she do..runs again, like she's done before. Can he finally catch her? Well he's gonna try.
Rachel has allowed doubt and that devil on her shoulder dictate so many things in her life and running is one of them. She has been beaten down in her world of bad choices, lost her zest for life by listening to that devil and letting her husband rule her life for almost 10 years..but not anymore! She is free now!!! Divorcing him was one the best ideas she had for her future happiness and doesn't regret it at all. He was controlling, nasty, maybe didn't even like her and never made her feel good about herself! She is part owner of that salon and has made something out of nothing. She is a free spirit with the most unique way about her, who wouldn't love her. Rachel is her own personal sunshine and rainbow girl and besides that devil..she is feeling really good about her life right now.
Well, until she starts reliving the past and that summer when she was 17 and thought herself in love with a handsome, slightly older musician. They were new friends getting to know each other, until it all went wrong... and her life was never the same. Joe Silver stole her heart and stomped on it. Can she act like nothing happened?
This book was many things and more-small town charm, the best characters, friends that never became more, second chances even when the 1st chance never happened with a so, so sweet and slow burning, swoony and sexy feel that will leave you hoping and anticipating what should be. There is also hilarity, which...of course there was, because Julia Wolf wrote it and what else would you expect from this amazing author. I read it in one glorious sitting, lost sleep while doing so and can't wait to partake of another from her 'vault'!
I received and am reviewing a complimentary updated and revamped version of a previously published book. I hadn't read the older version so I don't know what has been added or taken away from the original. What I do know is that if Julia writes it, it has to be worth reading, in my opinion and this book surpassed my expectations. I'm going to keep the Sublime series revamp rolling with the next book to see where that one takes me. How could I resist this womans books...well that just it, I can't!
*I was provided this early version by the author but the words in this review are my own thoughts and opinions after reading it.
Do you love second chance romance books? This is a great book to read. When you’ve had her heart broken at such a young age sometimes you don’t make the best of decisions. Well this happened to Rachel. Shes come to understand that her marriage was rushed and pushed because of it. When she meets the cause of her pain/failure after many years she tries to run/push him away but she’s pulled right back in by some force. The magnetism is strong. Can she keep her feelings for Joe separate to have the friendship she at least wants? Or will her heart betray her again and she’ll be crushed. Will his feelings be genuine? Can signals be misread because your infatuated with someone? Rachels heart is on the line. I read this book voluntarily for an honest review. This was my first julia wolf book and I loved it. Im looking forward to trying other books by her. Enjoy!
I took a few days, and read this book a few times before posting. I like to make sure I read at least twice, because then I know for sure if I missed anything. I can say without a doubt that I liked this book. I think what stuck out to me the most was that Joe had a ‘code name’ within the girls. It honestly made me feel like I was in their group too because who can honestly say they don’t give secret little names? (My best friend called my crush, Baby dinosaur teeth!) I liked the romance of this book, I liked the story, I liked rooting for Rachel & hurting with her when she was scared. I think it had all the aspects of a great book & I’ll put this on my re-read shelf that I come back to in a few weeks! I recommend you all do the same!
This is such a fun, beautiful, and swoon worthy second chance romance. Years ago, in high school, Joe broke Rachel's heart. This caused a ripple effect that is still making waves in their lives today. Then fate brings them together again. Can they move beyond the past and open their hearts to try for the HEA they missed out on? Read this heartwarming and funny romance to find out. I'm posting a completely honest, voluntary review after reading a copy of this book.
Very good book. I didn't want to put it down. I love second chance romance stories and this defiantly fit the bill. Rachel is divorced and started a new life in a new city. She is a hair stylist with one of her best friends that co owns the salon with her. When she waa younger he fell in love with Joe who was 4 years older than she was. Years later she runs into Joe. He just bought a house in her town and come to find out it's her dream house. They become friends again and the chemistry starts to spark all over with them. This book blew me away. It's well written and keeps you on the edge of your seat to see what happens next. 5 stars for me. Loved it
I loved this!!! I raced through it in two days, getting annoyed at anyone who took me away from reading. It is similar to some of my favorite Emily Giffin books in how the main conflict is Rachel's internal conflict with her feelings. I'm a therapist, and Rachel's feelings about her ex and her reaction when coming face to face with him is completely believable. I already want to make time to read it again, and I can't wait for the next book to come out!
This was my first book by Julia Wolf and boy did she get a new fan in me. This was a second chance romance high on laughs swoons and low angst. This is a slow burn but I laughed along the way and enjoyed it.Rachel and Joe were together in high school but thing werent right for them. It was sad but they nedd ti grow up or things would not have worked out. But Joe has alot of work proving his in it to stay to Rachel.
I loved the ending of this book! I enjoyed all the characters immensely. The characters along with the town are the sort of fictional world you want to come back to again and again. I was envious of Rachel's friendship with Frannie, Eliza and Laurel. Joe was a compassionate guy. But he just didn't grab me as much as other book boyfriends.
I was reading along thinking, "Boy, things are going great. I can't see anything that could happen to cause the expected tension we get in all books." Then BOOM! Julia Wolf hits me with the tension. I never saw it coming. It made perfect sense and I loved how it was resolved.
I like second chance romances, especially ones in which the thing that tore the couple apart is forgivable. This is a simple romance with the drama limited to the main character's own self-esteem issues. Although the "retreat phase" is emotionally draining for her, as a couple in their 30's they handle it like adults and tackle the problem head-on. Any woman that has ever been in relationship in which she felt undervalued...any woman who suffers from self-doubt because of a past relationship...any woman rebuilding her confidence--this book is for you.
Julia nails the romance genre down. After reading Cut Short (which is read in less than a day!), and Run with it; Julia is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors of romance. In Cut Short, Julia 's portrayal of Rachel and Joe made me jump up and down with glee and scream with sadness. This novel tugs at the heartstrings; while also making you want to find your very own Joe.
The Sublime is a sweet and sexy second chance love story. Synopsis: Rachel, a hair stylist, reunited with her former high school crush, Joe. Sparks fly as these two figure out their future. It was a quick and fun read. It had some entertaining supporting characters as well. It also had some off the charts steamy scenes. If you dig a good second chance romance, then look no further.
