Underdeveloped and lacklustre

This could have been a much better book. First, to get it off my chest, there's a scene where the author calls Draven a demigod and mixes up the character names horribly. If you can't keep 5 names and backgrounds straight, use fewer!

The entire book was lacking in development, from the characters to the politics to the world itself. Where did the shifters come from? Were they always here? Were they always their own separate kingdoms? Why don't they get along better with one another? How do the Olympians and humans fit in?

Not a single one of those questions was answered or even touched on, so we're left with nothing but a shallow "relationship" between Tina and the guys built on sex. If that'd what you're looking for in a book (complete with BORING sex scenes) then this is the book for you. If you're interested in something more, find another book.

Not worth your time

I really wanted to love this book. The storyline seemed so promising. But the author does not know how to Write where the reader is completely drawn into the story. The dialogue was weak. And the main character became annoying instead of beloved. Even the internal dialogue from some of the characters wasn’t interesting. I had to finish the book but I had to skim through a lot of pages to get through it.

Unfortunately, I did not find another series to complete. I will be stopping after this first book.

Interesting take on shifters and fertility godess. I really enjoyed all the different shifters: wolf, dragon, eagle, tiger and demi-god. They all sounded like 'hot', sexy men and I was concerned for Tina about how she was going to make a choice! Like Tina, I grew to love them all as the book went on. The story had lots of danger, action and suspense.

I did find quite a few editing errors and typos which did distract from my enjoyment slightly, but not enough to turn me off the book. I was also expecting more sex scenes, they came, but not until about 60% through the book. I voluntarily reviewed a ARC of this book

This book was enjoyable.
There was something off for me though.
Oddly enough the writing screamed YA to me. That is insane though because there is a shit ton of smut in this book.
I just felt like everything was a bit to casual.
I get magic sex powers from interrupting this weird ritual to save my friend? Cool...
I am now super rich and powerful? Nice.
Somehow Tina became an entitled brat in .5 seconds. It was a tad annoying.
Also... I almost screamed in frustration when the author mixed up the characters, a few times. You can't do that! I mean, seriously?
There are some spelling errors and whatnot but not enough to make me stop reading.
I have yet to decide what I really want to rate this so I will go on the high end with 3 stars.

Love love love

What an awesome book. This one really had everything I love, all kinds of shifters, mythology, hot scenes and it's reverse harem. How great is that

Started out strong then wobbled a bit

So, I am here for strong and smart heroines, especially the smart ones. I really love that this book threw our h into political intrigue and she held her own and has potential to run it all together. She also stands up for herself. Then it starts to get a little wobbly about half way through. It almost felt like the author was like “ alright, world is set no need to keep everyone trying so hard, time to fall back into cliches”. Our five guys start to *shield* the h because she’s *stressed enough*. Like huh? this girl is more powerful than all of you combined and smart as hell; are you really going to shelter her from unpleasant things like I dunno, information about the people trying to kill her? She is in a unique position and needs all the info she can get because knowledge is power. And because the five love interests start out a competitors and don’t get along they don’t share all their information with each other, only her. So this girl is an amazing puzzle solver and you are going to keep things from her? Yea I think not. I started to be as less engaged with the story. It speeds up and in doing so feel back on tired damsel in distress needs protection. Like I’m all for them working as a team but I need everyone to trust and respect each other’s ability. She trusts them but they don’t do the same for her. Some other books I’ve read that are RH do have the male love interests fight most of the battles but it’s known she is even more capable and dangerous. Like she may not fight daily but she is a force all her own and you better hope you don’t actually have to fight her. Maybe a little more of that and less fretting about keeping her in the dark in the next book.

This book is a VERY adult paranormal/supernatural (magic, shifters and gods/demi-gods) reverse-harem romance book. Whilst not my normal reading (I'm not into romance books, especially explicit ones) I was asked to review this one, so gave it a go, and the overall story behind it made me persist, even if the sex scenes made me feel a little uncomfortable (which is what, for me, made this a 4*). I won't go into details about the story as I hate spoilers and you can get the outline above, but I will just say that you do get drawn into it and want to keep reading to find out what will happen, who Tina will choose, and if she and the others will survive.
If you like adult romance books with a shifter and magic twist, this is definitely a book you'll enjoy, and I cannot recommend it enough for you. But if, like me, explicit sex scenes make you uncomfortable, this book's not really for you (unless you want to skim those paragraphs!). Unusually for me though, I will be reading the next book, as now I've got drawn in and want to find out what happens to the characters next!
NB I received a complimentary copy of this book, but I always give an HONEST review based wholly on my own opinions

I really liked this one

While the novel, being about a fertility goddess, does have it's fair share of sex scenes, I really enjoyed this one. Jean and Cipriano have created the perfect balance between spicy harem romance and page turning story. Each of the characters was unique and easy identified with strong character traits and charismatic personalities.

One of the things I absolutley adored about this book which makes it stand out from the rest is that while the group of men know each other, they enter the story as enemies and aren't already an established group of friends as is the norm in the genre. The story examines more than jusy a romantic relatiosnhip, but the bonds of friendship as well. The opening was a little shaky, but once the story begins to pick up, the balance, the intertwining characters were absolute poetry. If you enjoy the reverse harem genre, this is definitely not one to be missed.

Absolutely Fantastic in every Way!

The Tiger’s Offer is probably one of the best RH books I’ve read, if not the best one I’ve read in a very long while! While it starts off “slowly” once it picks up speed it never stops! There is action, intrigue (yes a lot of mysteries that must be solved) and of course plenty of romance! The author has managed to “do it all” give us a complex and deeply layered book without sacrificing her characters to the sometimes divisive nature of such an act. She introduces her heroine, Tina, and although Tina is portrayed as loyal and kind, there doesn’t seem to be much more there...and that’s where the author has started her brilliant character development strategy; by starting Tina off this way you are absolutely 110% engaged in her development as the book continues, you see her grow and are involved as a reader in her journey with her men, and wow let’s get to her men her Harem! Often this is where an author will “mess up“ they either cannot seem to develop or give us the perfect balance of men or they spend too much time on their heroine and not enough time on the supporting cast, which come on is not a supporting cast if you think about it, the genre wouldn’t be anything without the harem part of reverse harem, the men are ALWAYS important! The author has managed to give us five wonderful men! Each man, or in this case each shifter and one demigod, is so well “fleshed out“ and so believable in their character that you can honestly feel how Tina feels: she can’t choose. You understand her torment because you feel it too, you don’t want to have to choose just one!! So when the time comes and Tina has a revelation about choosing all of them it makes absolutely perfect sense for her to do so, in this way the author has given us a truly believable reverse harem; a reverse harem that makes absolutely perfect sense to the heroine and to the reader who is reading her story. In fact you spend a lot of the book chanting come on come on come on get to the decision to choose them all already we know you want to, lol, HECK we want to!! And the author doesn’t stop there! She continues to move the plot forward even after the heroine has chosen all her guys, the intrigue deepens, the story develops and continues to grow! Do not miss out, if you like/love the RH genre you MUST read The Tiger’s Offer! Your only “regret” come the end of the book...is that you’ll have to wait on the sequel! It can’t come out fast enough in my impatient opinion 😊

I really enjoyed this story a lot. Our MC managed to bring five princes from kingdoms on the brink of war with each other together. From enemies to brothers ready to take on the world and that's pretty much exactly what's against them. It's a stacked deck for sure, but with their own expanding powers they just may be up for the task. Each Prince brings a key skill and a piece of her soul and heart to their girl. They start off fighting and hating each other. By the end they would die for each other. You can't ask for a better RH than that!

There were two issues that prevented me from being able to give this 5 stars. The first was the author mixed up the guys a lot. It was very confusing. Once it was so bad that I had a hard time figuring what was going on. Draven got his powers first. At least in the published version. I actually think it was originally written with Flynn getting his powers first and she went back and changed that and missed a whole lot of references to the first as Flynn or the Demigod. She mixed up their names and dragon and demigod. It was really confusing. There were also a lot of instances of he and she pronouns being mixed up. These books could really do with a good editor and if you paid one, fire them.

My last issue which is just personal but it really took me out of the passionate moments. Every single coupling ended with her release and then afterwards the man just quietly releases. It was a real letdown in the erotic scenes department. Has this author never experienced how truly amazing it is when two people release at the same time? The man going as soon as the woman starts actually pushes her release deeper, longer and harder. While her release will normally cause a loss of control that is passionate and moving. Instead these endings read like they are clinical, never losing control and waiting until she is finished. It's cold and detached and they all do it. Poor Goddess, not experiencing true bliss.

Received in exchange for a honest review.

This was interesting. Not what I expected. For me it was a new type of read because I had never read a book with a harem before let alone a reverse harem but to me the harem part was minor to the story. Did it play a part? Yes but did it take over the book? No.

Tina was accidentally brought into something and now must come to terms and deal with her new life. At the same time she is adjusting, she is thrust into a world where she must choose a mate and find peace amongst the other groups. ONly the kings don’t really feel that way and wow do they show it.

The princes though are awesome. They at first are wary of one another but as they get to know each other and come together under one common goal-protecting Tina- you see them form a sort of brotherhood. Each one has their own great qualities that endear you to them. What I love is that they show that they can all come together and do what is best for their people and not just for power.

The writing is fast paced and the story erotic and sensual and yet also strife with danger and intrigue. We get some very steamy moments as Tina comes into her own but also moments of fierceness and battles that keep you on your toes. We see all the princes work together and use their strengths to protect each other and Tina. A wonderful steamy tale that starts what looks to be a sensual and dangerous tale for Tina and her group of men as they attempt to do something not done before-broker a real peace for their people and learn to live together as one kingdom.

This is the first book in a new series The Goddess’s Harem. I have never read one of these authors before, but if this is how she writes, I am a new fan. I’ve read the other author before and I love him. This book was very well-written, had some really interesting characters, and an intriguing plot. As for the characters, I really liked the different type of shifters; I do get tired of the same old kind in most books. Next, I really do like that the reverse harem theme didn’t take over the book. I don’t mind reverse harem, but I have to admit I don’t like it when that’s all the book is about, and that isn’t the case here. And, last but not least, I was invested in the whole book from the beginning to end. Yes, the first little bit was a tiny bit slow, but I really liked the action and characters right from the beginning which was what I want in a book. So, if you like reverse harem with some great action (not the unclothed kind, the other kind!), you will love this book! Highly recommend! Thanks to the author for the e-copy which I voluntarily reviewed.

A glowing and thrilling read!

A fertility goddess on earth...
Assassinations...
Danger...
Will the goddess and her harem work together to save themselves?
Or will evil win?

Such a brilliant book that is full of betrayal, action and adventure. I had such a great time reading this novel that I did not want it to end. Such a pleasure!

Excellent world building. I cannot wait for the next book to see more of the world, the characters and the journey.

These characters were mind-blowingly amazing! So bada** and fierce. The goddess was one hell of a character. Loved experiencing everything with the goddess and her harem. A wonderful experience!

Full of shifters, goddesses, demigods, adventure, action, tension, decisions, enemies, steamy moments and romance.

Perfect for readers of reverse harem fantasy romances.

What a cool reverse harem story with a cool concept and a fun twist. It is the story of a normal human named Tina who goes from average girl on the sides of the shifter world to right in the middle and straight to the top of the shifters due to becoming the vessel of a sex goddess. I found it to be well written and very addicting to read. I loved the shifter princes, their different personalities, and how their interactions change as the story goes by. There was very steamy sexy scenes and a few battle scenes to to spice up the story. But there was a decent plot and a few twists too along with the sexy times. And Tina and her sex goddess were a hoot. I cannot wait to see where the story goes and what other secrets will be unveiled.

Tina went to a werewolf strip club with her friend and when she leaves there she finds she is a merge between herself and a fertility goddess. All of a sudden she has powers and magic and five hot shifter princes fighting over her. Can she persuade them to share her and can she avoid dying at the hands of the priestesses?

Loved the premise of this story and the way it built up and was developed. I can see that many different things can happen with this so I'm looking forward to reading where this goes next. I just wish I had a problem deciding between all of those hot men! Nicely written and very enjoyable. A great start to this new series with is own fair share of excitement, drama and danger.

Loved This Book!!!!

This book had the perfect blend of passion, violence, and humor! I cannot tell you enough how good this was to read. The plot was thick and tasty and the pace perfect, it didn't drag but it didn't stumble or sprint as it unfolded. Each male in the harem was unique and delicious to learn about, their strengths and weaknesses complimented one another and were utterly perfect for a budding goddess's needs. Its hard to pick a favorite but I'd say that my favorite would be the goddess herself, she is compassionate, whip smart, and devastatingly powerful. I do have to mention as well that I deeply dislike and distrust the head priestess. She's a snake if I ever saw one.

Daring, Desire, and Damara

Tina a normal human gets forcefully fused with a powerful fertility goddess Damara. Now everyone is out to control her or kill her. When the Kong’s of the five shifter kingdoms and the royal princes come to secure Tina/Damara she has to display her powers to keep from the kings from killing her or claiming possession. So she proposed a contest, the five princes compete to win her hand and her powers for his kingdom. What can go wrong with five handsome shifter princes and a sex goddess? A must read!

Pretty good

So, I rated this a four because I more than simply enjoyed it. Normally I rate books like this around a two or three, but it kept me captivated and I enjoyed the characters. There was some grammatical errors, but I overlooked it. Some words were switched around, but again not that bothersome and it didn't deter me from finishing the book. I feel like there is a lot of buts in this review. Oh well. This book also leaves a lot of unresolved issues that hopefully will advance in the next book. Maybe we get to see some more development with Zane. Hmmm

O-M-G I am in love !!! Wolf shifter, dragon shifter, tiger shifter, eagle shifter, Demi-God and Goddess who could go wrong with this mixture for a reverse harem !! There is plenty of drama, action, suspense and yup you guessed it, sexy romance all wrapped up in this book that I was unable to put it down! I have always said I wanted to see a RH with more than just one shifter and this book was perfect! I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.

World peace do the 5 kingdoms real want it? Goddess may help.

A paranormal romance with friends that really are honorable. Ritual to bring a goddess back to earth. Boucher plans, lusty urges and a contest like no other. Tiger, Wolf, Eagle, Dragon, Demigod and Human are central characters and their kingdoms. Great fun can't wait to see what happens to Tina later. This story standalone but hint at later in their lives in another book to come. Enjoyed reading this book.

What would you do if you were out on a girls night and your friend disappeared. Go look for her of course, but Tina ended up with more than she expected when she rescued her friend and got joined with the Goddess of Fertility. Suddenly all the Kings want to have her live with them. She has to make a choice of one of the five incredibly handsome Prince’s as her mate. What’s a girl to do. Her solution is totally cool. Highly recommended.

Holy crap! I'm in love!

I absolutely loved this book and story line. Tina is your average girl, just chilling and having fun at a strip club with her bestie when the sh*t hits the fan but nuts up to save her friend. Then out of nowhere, bam! you're a goddess with a kick ass body, power and 5 HOT Princes wanting to make you their Queen.... wish that'd happen in real life. I loved how they were all able to come together and become friends and family. I can't wait for book 2!

Couldn't even finish it. Oh God. It was like the Dragon's Curse all over again and I was getting horrible flashbacks of shallow characters and overly-dramatic-but-not-anything-worth-caring-about situations and female heroines who don't DO need a man men.

UGH.
What is wrong with this book? It starts out somewhat okay and then it just nose-dives to below rock bottom.

Nah, not for me. No thanks.

*waves goodbye while clutching a better book*

Boring!!!

Geez, for me this book was a bore fest...honestly the first three chapters were the best but once Tina became a goddess she became really annoying. She became a harpy and made the prince's her bit#$es. Not only that but it just lacked story. No type of outlined confrontation or villian. I'm sure it probably is a great book for those that want just conversations between MC and her harem with no action. If you like that then buy the book, if not, skip.

What a wild a crazy ride this is, one woman & 5 men, boy was it fun and we're not done yet. Tina gets bonded with a goddess through no desire of her own. The five Crown Prince's must woo her until she chooses one of them. Too bad their fathers would rather go to war and that's where this book ends.

I received an ARC of this story and have voluntarily chosen to review it here.

Loved it!

This pulled me in from the very beginning. A lot of books in the RH genre seem to be getting repetitive, but this authors world she created was a breath of fresh air. I love Tina and all her men and I am very much looking forward to what comes next for them! I will be checking to see what else this wonderful author has out there :)

Great story

Loved the story of Tina and her shifter mates. Lot’s of heat, heart and intrigue. Tina is a new host to a goddess and has to learn how to harness her power and also pick a prince out of the shifter and demigod kingdoms. As she learns about her 5 potential mates, the other mystery, disappearance of shifters needs solving as well.

A Goddess And Some Shifters Walked Into A Bar...

I like the diversity of the talents of the princes as love and concern for Tina override past prejudices and distrust to make her protection the number one priority. I found the plot interesting with lots of action, love making, and witty dialogue. I look forward to the next book.
