I am not even sure what to rate this one. It gets 5 stars for being HILARIOUS. OMG, I just about died laughing at the stuff in this book!
Our intrepid HERO, whose name is T-BONE (like the steak not the rapper) and (who had a beard and apparently only ONE hair on his head.)
Murders two people and feeds them to his hogs (which I REALLY hope he never butchered and ate.)
Then he stalks the heroine like a predator worthy of this own Dateline episode.
Then he drugs her and has oral and anal sex with her. And sticks fertility pills in her anus every chance her gets.
Ya I dunno WHAT she was thinking. *Insert sarcastic eye roll*
Then he basically just continues to have sex with her until she Stockholm syndromes all over his ass.
Then they have a TON of babies and live HEA.

I CAN'T BELIEVE I FINISHED THIS ONE!
"Why just looking at her made me want to just grab her up and take her home and protect her she was so little. The thought entered my mind that maybe I wouldn’t mind seeing her little belly swollen with my child either."
This book is one that I think a psychologist would have a field day analyzing. It's disturbing and because of the gendre it is, it's almost impossible for me to rate.
As a romance book this would maybe give it maybe 1.5-2 stars, because this book did not have many romantic elements in it. He was an alpha and he does falls for her insta-love/lust. He does some nice things for her and cares for her in his twisted way.
- He buys things for her wellbeing and according to her wish list.
- He makes her food and makes sure she is kept healthy with vitamins and going to the hospital when needed.
- He wants her to be happy and never abuses her physically. I mean he doesn't hit or beat her.
- He doesn't cheat on her nor does he push her away. He is 100% faithful to her.
These are all very sweet and well intentioned behaviour from the hero, but it doesn't really make up for the fact that:
- HE KIDNAPPED HER AND HELD HER AGAINST HER WILL
- He drugged her, and while incapacitated, he sodomized and raped her.
"When I’d cum about the fourth time I was plum worn out. After cleaning up after cumming in her ass, I’d rubbed my cock all over her exposed body, even letting it sit on her lips and coaxing her tongue to lick me in her sleep..."
For me, this was made even more disturbing by the fact that the heroine was a virgin. The hero thinks "My little Angel was pure. She’s my first virgin. And if I have anything to say about it, my last. My mind was filled with the knowledge that she would be the last woman I lay with."
- He plans on having children with her without asking her consent. He thinks "by hook or by crook T-Bone Riley is gonna make that little beauty the mother of his children yes sir." And he then proceeds to make it happen.
THIS ARE ALL VERY DISTURBING ELEMENTS THAT MAKE THIS A ROMANCE FAIL!
I will be honest and say I found the hero T-Bone's character very fascinating, from a psychological point of view. His history leads me to think that he is a victim of psychological conditioning, with the isolation from society and his father's emotional and physical abuse (using the dog).
He never really attended school or even spend any length of time within society. His father essentially isolated him from everyone. Even his mother died young, so he had no real concept of right and wrong.
The hero, honestly sees nothing wrong in killing those that have wronged him. "Then pulled my gun and blew them both to kingdom come. I made sure they were done for, even a wild animal deserves to be put out of its misery after all.."
He firmly believes "...my daddy had told me long ago that it was a woman’s place to give her man as many children as her body could hold, just as it was a man’s place to provide for his family, and not just food and shelter, but love."
He has never even had real exposure to regular women "You see the truth is, I don’t know much about courting women. Sure daddy had taken me on my sixteenth birthday down to the playhouse to lose my virginity."
Even his fiancée that he killed with her lover was a woman of "lose moral fibre" aka a slut!
Therefore, what chance does this messed up guy have of trying to make a relationship work using traditional methods? NONE!
Now as an EROTICA, this would be a whole different rating. I would have to say, other than the first sodomy while sleeping/drugged and the fact that she was tied up (aka dubious consent and rape), this book was actually pretty erotic.
As an erotica (if you enjoy the rape fantasy thing) I would rate it at 3 or 3.5 stars.
We have some hot mating scenes in the barn and on an ATV and not to mention what that man can do with his mouth!
Wow, that was very seriously hot!
However, this book is definitely NOT FOR EVERYONE! It has too many elements and triggers for that. But I will be honest here and say I did not hate this book. I didn't love it, but no hate here.
Now the big question is "Would I recommend it?"
And honestly, it depends on how good a friend you are. If I know you well enough (book wise) to know if you would be offended by the content or aroused by it.
Therefore, my suggestion is if you like your romance light and gentle, skip this book.
But if you enjoy a really twisted love/erotica story, then honey you have come to the right place!

This book it's not fucking romance
I WON'T condone this.
I DNfed this garbage, the author is a sick person.. it doesn’t matter that she wrote her heroine falling in love with her rapist and having his children. If he raped her then he could very well rape his daughters and sons.

Re-edit of T-Bone and Redneck did you say!?
Well, I may just need to try this one out.
I know, I know,
And now that I have read it, I am of two minds about it.
While the content was more digestible, it was not as captivating.
The whole rape sex scene has been edited out.
This is what took it's place instead.
But as I got into bed beside her with my dick in hand ready to seal the deal, I realized it wasn’t as much fun, her not being awake. I wanted to look into her eyes when I take her the first time. Wanted her with me when I plant the first little one in her. I studied her as she slept, all that beauty that was now mine. I could see my sons and daughters in her arms, see the love and joy on her face as she accepted her lot in life. The picture was so clear I almost spent right then and there. She moaned in her sleep bringing my attention to her mouth. She had full pouty lips that were just begging to be kissed. I gritted my teeth and held myself back from touching her though I wanted to so bad my eyes were crossing. I threw my arm around her and for the first time since my daddy passed I was at peace.

After reading this re-edit, even thought I enjoyed it more as it was a relatively safe read, I feel that the censorship that was done to this book was WRONG!
YES, it's true that the first two version are hard to read with questionable content, but T-Bone was lost in translation to me.
He became this slightly softer less primitive character who was less assertive. He still does everything he did in the other two versions but in different set of circumstances.
Also, the story sequencing makes less sense to me. When she wakes up after their first sexual encounter, why does she not remember it!?
When this happened
Her eyes opened wide when she felt me there and I had to move fast before she hurt herself fighting me. “It’s okay darling, I’ll go real slow, but I have to have some part of you. Let me.” I planted my hands next to her head and slid my cock deep into her ass. I held still once I was all the way in and then lowered my head to take her lips.
Why does she says
“Did you…what did you do to me?”
"I did not violate you Melanie. I did touch you, but I restrained myself from taking your virginity, don’t you remember?”

If I have to pick between the three versions, I would have to say the first T-Bone was much more hard hitting and captivating. Yes, I was uncomfortable reading it but I felt compelled to turn the page and discover more of the story.
In conclusion, this book is a relatively safe read without triggers for those who want to read a raw book with an interesting character, this may be a book for you.
For me personally, I am glad I bought the first version. It was raw and gritty but it's the authors original work and it SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN CENSORED!

It's a goddamn tragedy that this novel got taken down officially. Can't a girl enjoy her insane, redneck stalker rapist murder husbands in peace? What is this world coming to?
The fact that the author re-released a highly altered and pussy-footed version of this is just a slap on the face.
To show everyone what has been lost with this masterpiece:
Meet T-Bone Riley. Yes, you heard that right - his name is T-Bone. His initial description was written in such a confusing way, multiple readers (myself included) thought he looked like this:
When in reality, he looked like this:
Thanks, author, for at least having multiple instances where women would be mooning over our hero and comparing him to Jax from Sons of Anarchy, because I never would've guessed that's what he looked like based on the initial description. So I appreciate the clarification, because it would have been difficult to appreciate this book imagining the hero as I originally did 🥺.
T-Bone is a crazy ass redneck that has elements of this author's OTT rough talking alpha heroes... but taken up to serial killer psychopath levels. At least with him being a hillbilly redneck, it actually makes sense for once why he talks and thinks like that, unlike the author's other heroes who are supposed to be sophisticated billionaires but have the language vocabulary of cavemen who have overdosed on viagra. T-Bone is a sad lonely soul. He is a millionaire that chooses to live a simple and quiet life on his farm. Ever since he shot and murdered his ex-wife and her boy toy when he caught them cheating in his bed and fed their corpses to the pigs, he has been alone and without companionship 😔. Town whores are no longer doing it for him, and this man just wants to find true love and settle down with lots of babies in his happily ever after. So he decides to do the logical thing of going back to college to find a nice girl to settle down with. Sounds normal, right?
On T-Bone's first day at college, he meets his Angel, Melanie. It's obsession at first sight, and he follows her to her class (despite not being enrolled).
Anyone watching would’ve probably found something wrong with the strange man and the way he seemed to have the young girl in his sights as he followed behind her, not to mention the bulge in his jeans that he wasn’t even trying to hide. Everybody had a suspicious mind these days.
Me:
T-Bone, despite living in modern society with computers and Internet access, decides he likes "ye olde days" of wooing a woman better, and decides he wants to kidnap her, lock her up, and breed lots of babies into her. Who said romance is dead? He then proceeds to stalk Melanie, showing up inside her house in the middle of the night to whisper sweet nothings to her before disappearing like the goddamn redneck boogeyman he is.
He goes through with his plan, chloroforming Melanie and capturing her in his van, and his delusional thought process is absolutely fascinating and menacing.
"Hello Angel.” She screeched and tried moving off my leg but her bound hands and feet had her a bit encumbered. “Stop that before you hurt yourself.” Her eyes turned up to mine and I saw the question in her eyes seconds before recognition hit.
“Why?” It was all she said as the fear clouded her eyes. I didn’t like seeing it there, but knew it would take time before she understood.
“Why not?”
Gave me the SHIVERS. Melanie is understandably terrified, but your man T-Bone is so disconnected with reality, it produces comedy gold like:
"Are you going to kill me?” Her words stopped me in my tracks and almost knocked me off my feet. “No.” The thought never entered my head. Why would she even think such a thing?
T-Bone then proceeds to give Melanie horse tranquilizers and rapes her up the ass (because he's a gentleman that wants her awake for taking her virginity). Melanie wakes up, gets raped by T-Bone and goes through betraying body syndrome (because your man is hot and looks like Jax Teller).
They then proceed their courtship with Melanie making her numerous escape attempts, and T-Bone going after her naked through the farm, which is honestly very intimidating and terrifying. Lots of raping times are to be had, and T-Bone slowly wins her over with the power of Stalkholme Syndrome. He also eventually gets her sold on his breeding kink, with the help of some good old fashion inspiration by watching farm animals mating. Yes, that actually works - apparently watching cows get down and dirty is enough to get Melanie worked up and ready to go 💀. Poor girl's brain probably got broken from all those overdoses on horse pills.
In the end, they get their happy ending when Melanie realizes she can't live without T-Bone, and decides to become a redneck herself. Cue ending with massive amounts of children and Melanie mysteriously adopting a redneck manner of speaking.
This book was so ridiculous, you can't take it seriously to enjoy it. I loved this messed up crazy trip, being the pervert I am. The breeding kink was hot, and everything about this was really taboo. Loved getting into the mind of a crazy like T-Bone. The world is a colder and sadder place without this fascinating case study into the mind of a redneck psychopath 🥲.
Safety:
* Heroine is an inexperienced virgin, never been in relationship. Was raised to think boys were cheating and terrible.
* Hero is NOT a virgin, very experienced ex-manwhore. He was married (but murdered his ex), then took care of needs with prostitutes. Once he meets heroine he is loyal.
* LOTS OF RAPE AND NON CON.
* No cheating
* No OM drama
* No real OW drama: hero used to be married but killed his ex wife and only hates her. Lots of women ogle over hero and flirt, but hero is disgusted.
* No condoms or protection, very big breeding kink.
* An age gap of probably over 10 years (heroine almost 19, hero probably around 30-some)
* HEA with epilogue and kids

Ever since he shot and murdered his ex-wife and her boy toy when he caught them cheating in his bed and fed their corpses to the pigs, he has been alone and without companionship 😔. Town whores are no longer doing it for him, and this man just wants to find true love and settle down with lots of babies in his happily ever after. So he decides to do the logical thing of going back to college to find a nice girl to settle down with. Sounds normal, right?
On T-Bone's first day at college, he meets his Angel, Melanie. It's obsession at first sight, and he follows her to her class (despite not being enrolled).
Anyone watching would’ve probably found something wrong with the strange man and the way he seemed to have the young girl in his sights as he followed behind her, not to mention the bulge in his jeans that he wasn’t even trying to hide. Everybody had a suspicious mind these days.
Me:
T-Bone, despite living in modern society with computers and Internet access, decides he likes "ye olde days" of wooing a woman better, and decides he wants to kidnap her, lock her up, and breed lots of babies into her. Who said romance is dead? He then proceeds to stalk Melanie, showing up inside her house in the middle of the night to whisper sweet nothings to her before disappearing like the goddamn redneck boogeyman he is.
He goes through with his plan, chloroforming Melanie and capturing her in his van, and his delusional thought process is absolutely fascinating and menacing.
"Hello Angel.” She screeched and tried moving off my leg but her bound hands and feet had her a bit encumbered. “Stop that before you hurt yourself.” Her eyes turned up to mine and I saw the question in her eyes seconds before recognition hit.
“Why?” It was all she said as the fear clouded her eyes. I didn’t like seeing it there, but knew it would take time before she understood.
“Why not?”
Gave me the SHIVERS. Melanie is understandably terrified, but your man T-Bone is so disconnected with reality, it produces comedy gold like:
"Are you going to kill me?” Her words stopped me in my tracks and almost knocked me off my feet. “No.” The thought never entered my head. Why would she even think such a thing?
T-Bone then proceeds to give Melanie horse tranquilizers and rapes her up the ass (because he's a gentleman that wants her awake for taking her virginity). Melanie wakes up, gets raped by T-Bone and goes through betraying body syndrome (because your man is hot and looks like Jax Teller).
They then proceed their courtship with Melanie making her numerous escape attempts, and T-Bone going after her naked through the farm, which is honestly very intimidating and terrifying. Lots of raping times are to be had, and T-Bone slowly wins her over with the power of Stalkholme Syndrome. He also eventually gets her sold on his breeding kink, with the help of some good old fashion inspiration by watching farm animals mating. Yes, that actually works - apparently watching cows get down and dirty is enough to get Melanie worked up and ready to go 💀. Poor girl's brain probably got broken from all those overdoses on horse pills.
In the end, they get their happy ending when Melanie realizes she can't live without T-Bone, and decides to become a redneck herself. Cue ending with massive amounts of children and Melanie mysteriously adopting a redneck manner of speaking.
This book was so ridiculous, you can't take it seriously to enjoy it. I loved this messed up crazy trip, being the pervert I am. The breeding kink was hot, and everything about this was really taboo. Loved getting into the mind of a crazy like T-Bone. The world is a colder and sadder place without this fascinating case study into the mind of a redneck psychopath 🥲.
Safety:
* Heroine is an inexperienced virgin, never been in relationship. Was raised to think boys were cheating and terrible.
* Hero is NOT a virgin, very experienced ex-manwhore. He was married (but murdered his ex), then took care of needs with prostitutes. Once he meets heroine he is loyal.
* LOTS OF RAPE AND NON CON.
* No cheating
* No OM drama
* No real OW drama: hero used to be married but killed his ex wife and only hates her. Lots of women ogle over hero and flirt, but hero is disgusted.
* No condoms or protection, very big breeding kink.
* An age gap of probably over 10 years (heroine almost 19, hero probably around 30-some)
* HEA with epilogue and kids

What I did not appreciate is what T-Bone did to her body while she was unconscious. Its one thing to coerce her into wanting her abductor while she's awake, its another to pretty much have anal sex with her while she's passed out from the drugs you gave her.

I have absolutely nothing good to say about this book. It was absolutely disgusting. I cant believe I actually finished it. There is nothing right about kidnapping and raping somebody even if "your body responds". It is still rape! I have read books where the h has been rapped but she never ends up with the villain or rapist so this was just gross for me. And to rape her while she is unconscious??? WTF!!! This was just crazy. And thank you JS for clearing up what the male lead actually looked like at about 30% of the book. I wasn't getting a very good visual on how she was describing him. Ewwwww. I read this book after all the fuss raised by some self righteous witches. This is dark erotica, no romance involved. The main character is an alpha stalker neanderthal recluse billionaire who once he saw his "target" he then kidnapped her because he wanted her to be his baby mama. The girl sort of "learned" to accept him and there you go they may have lived happily ever after . I wonder if they would have if he was dirt poor and didn't look like Charlie Hunnam? This story isn't full of angst and there was non-consensual sex at first but then if you read the blurb you know what you're getting into. So if you have some triggers you shouldn't jump in blind and read ANY book without reading the synopsis first! This isn't my top read but then this isn't my worst read either so 3 stars from me.

December 12, 2016Nope! This is not insta-love, this is not some dark psychological romantic thriller. There is no progression into maybe the heroine is suffering from Stockholm syndrome or anything that deep and thought provoking. This is rape. Saying that, this isn't the worse thing I've ever read. And I normally enjoy dark and twisted and to be honest this book doesn't even fall into the top 10 on my list of twisted. My only issue is at the very least the author could've left a possible trigger warning. Mislabeling this as a romance was callous and insensitive and deceptive to her regular readers. Some people were upset to the point of tears and now there's some long drawn out debate that could've been avoided.

This was just hilarious with a no filter writing style of Jordan Silver. Honestly I love her writing style! I'm still laughing and constantly saying "no T-Bone didn't" (but he did) while writing this brief review. Although it was good, some of the actions of redneck, T-Bone as the FLAWED, rich (due to Texas gold... think similar to Beverly Hillbillies ) and blunt hero in those dark shades and bushy mountain man beard who didn't give a lick what people thought of him was surely the image of a redneck that Silver portrayed...but hey these are the supposedly actions of a redneck in TEXAS (spoiler alert) who kill his ex and the adulterer in his bed and shots the computer man in the butt for trying to steal his files . Nope T-Bone was no joke! And the heroine... well you have to read this baby to believe it.... I will just say --- STOCKHOLM SYNDROME!!!!!

Definitely not for the faint of heart!
It was wrong on so many levels but I kinda loved it! I know.. I know.. "what's wrong with me right?" but c'mon.. I've never met a hot sexy redneck in my life so give me a lil break here! lol.
It's a short, insta-forced-love, hot, gritty story.
I've read this kinda of theme before were the heroine gets kidnapped by hero, forced himself.. heck! even shared her with other men but a longer version. Now this is a short story so I understand why a lot of people hated this book. There wasn't much in it other than sex so it was kinda poorly executed. He kidnapped her, drugged her, raped her and few pages later on she accepted it and they fell happily ever after! LOL. This is JS so to be honest, I didn't expect much other than all that!
I'll give this 3.5 stars.

At 16% this man is already a murderer and self-educated with a lot of oil money.
By the end of chapter 2 he seems more like a less charming more apt to shoot you than talk to you
By chapter 4 he gravitates to the first attractive girl he sees. Follows her and stalks her on the internet. Then by the end of the class he knows what he wants to do is wrong but he plans for it anyway.
He is a flipping pscyho-kidnapping-stalker with a heart of gold? Maybe. Would I try to kill him in his sleep? Yes. So, what if he is sexy, hot, big and hard in all the right places, richer than the state, and wants to please me forever, I’m not that kind of girl that would give you a pass for that shit. I am expecting an explanation like, I had to take your virginity, kidnap you and force a pregnancy on you to save all of mankind or some shit. Am I right ladies? I fear this girl is the TSTL kind of meat bag.
Yes, the heroine wants an easier life but not something out of a psychological thriller novel. Anyone see Misery, if this girl was a tad bit stronger the ending to this book would have been way different. But it’s not…
I can’t help but wonder why did the author write this under their main name and not another name to test out the waters per se. I must state that this is not erotic romance at all, maybe dark erotic fiction.
So, the rest of the book he is screwing her into submission because a book from the 1800’s told him to. (Lame, if he was so modernized like he said he was he would know that that book was full of shit and probably a TSTL novel for the simpering women of privilege.) He has it planned and figures it would take some years to win her over. (Yeah, he knows what he’s doing is going to see him in jail for many lifetimes.) Okay now fast-forward through a few sexy steamy hot chapters of nothing but dirty sexy monkey sex, to she is fighting him to not leave. Then after nine months she is talking like him and acting like him. She has all the traits of a storybook frontiers woman of the mid 1800’s.
Oh, and there are a few paragraphs about the missing people he killed, and about her but no one cares.
All in all, once I got passed the whole kidnapping, molestation, forced orgasms, and forced seduction the sex scenes were hot. I think that this is a niche book for readers that understand the forced submission fantasy. I don’t think real life is meant to intrude here at all.
I'm giving 2 stars because of no warning to sensitive readers, and the creepiness of the hero, and the TSTL factor for the heroine.

This book has received a lot of backlash for it's content. And you know what, that's fine. Everyone has an opinion and they have a right to theirs. What they don't have a right to do? TELL OTHER PEOPLE WHAT THEY SHOULD NOT BE READING.
Every person has the option to NOT read a book. If they buy a book and do not like it they can get a refund. Why on earth another person, an AUTHOR, should take it upon themselves to have a book banned due to content they don't agree with just blows my mind. I thought we as a human race were able to move past censorship.
Once again, you don't like content of a story, don't read it, ask for your money back, warn your friends, DON'T BAN IT because that's just not right.
I now have a list of authors that were involved with this mess that I refuse to EVER read again. Congratulations. You want to censor others, what goes around comes around.

Seriously this was WHACKED. Wtf was up with this shit ? The author did a lot more than just attempt to push the erotic envelope with this little tale. I do not care if a guy is as scorching hot as Henry Cavill or looks like a dashing handsome Christian Bale did in the Dark Knight Batman series. Nothing is romantic about a guy abducting a young woman, feeding her fertility drugs and forcing her to have sex with his body ( even if his body has 8 pack abs, bulging biceps and other interesting bulges). It still isn't normal. Whatever. Maybe I'm tripping too much over this but I usually enjoy Jordan Silver. This T-Bone hero gave me the creeps. This guy was freaking weird !
