Calculus is an essential area of mathematics. As with all skills, you get better with practice. The book is a short introduction to the field, so it goes broader rather than deeper.

Hugh Neill covers all the aspects of two semesters of Calculus. The last chapter does get into differential equations, but only in passing.

Thanks for reading my review, and see you next time.

Not recommended

The book is loosely written, piecemeal. Examples are dull and not practical. The books of Chris McMullen are much better.
