This book was written for those who enjoy reading of those terrible days when men were men and died because of it. The most violent time was during the first century after the Civil War. This book is about a boy left alive from a family murdered on the North Platte River in the last half of the 1800’s. The reading is easy and hopefully somewhat interesting. Individuals living a hard life do understand a hard language. We tried to keep profane and vulgar words to a minimum, this isn’t easy when hard men are shooting killing and dying.
