And the story goes on. Another very interesting and captivating investigation holds you on your toes. Winkes has a good manner to hold your interest in the cases at hand and also in the development of Ellie and Jordan's relationship. Step by step we get to know them better and can understand their fears and joys. Also, we too learn more about the most important secondary characters.

Keep going Barbara Winkes.

Wow!

The drama continues in this fast paced lesfic series. Jordan and Ellie face new challenges in both their professional and personal lives. Estranged relatives, exes, a frightening cult, and more dominate the women's lives in this latest tale from Barbara Winkes. Put this series on your list read list!

Wow

Some of these scenarios that gets written about makes me worried sometimes. But these things are actually going on in the world.

A man-hating-woman-rights cult... Taken down by the FBI and Police, that is good news, the only thing is always for them to get the proof to do something about it.

Excellent writing.

Women’s Place

A missing woman found murdered and dumped at a landfill. Now the hunt is on for evidence to raid and jail a vicious cult. Women and children are mere chattel and men reign supreme. A tense and twisted story of life in a cult. Great series.

You should know that when I review a story most of the time I CANNOT be like the cool people here analysing the books. I just pretend the characters are real people and I'm giving unsolicited opinion on Twitter/Reddit. Be warned.

My my, the investigation bit was again thrilling, things are so interesting that is hard to put the book down. And it was quite loaded. So have the plot which is sort of heavy then you have the story telling, which is top notch as always, at some point so much was going on I thought it was already past half... But it was barely 30%. Awesome

When you think their relationship is, VERY SLOWLY, moving on, they just get stuck for a bit, but keep going. I'm quite enjoying this though. They have to make an active effort together to make things work.

The main side characters' story are looking interesting too. I'm looking forward to it

Really good read. I read the first three when they first came out, but stopped reading this series for some reason, but now I'm back into this (as well as the rest of the Alex Hope series) and I really liked the continued development between Jordan and Ellie's relationship. I liked how that was seamlessly implemented within the actual plot of this crazy Cult that takes these young women and brainwash them into being their slaves.

But, yeah; Ellie + Jordan=Mix together perfectly. They are basically "couple goals."
