Your mama would call me a whore.
I am not.
I just liked a good fuc seein’ to. To be known, Old Testament-style.
I’m a psychiatrist with a specialty in sex, and collecting data doesn’t end when I shut my office door. And I’ll use any old excuse to justify my reckless behavior.
But it’s a small world, and sometimes past lovers fall into your lap. (Literally.)
Ones that ripped your heart from your chest.
I don’t know if I want it.
I don’t know if my heart will let me have it.
I don’t know if I will catch fire, tear my thrumming stitches, or drown.
It doesn’t matter. Because motherfuc Tyrone is coming with me.
He might not wish he did.
He might want to run.

Arden Aoide lives in San Antonio, Texas, with her husband, two daughters, and three cats. Turn ons include men who cry during sex, long walks on the beach, and talking about herself in the third person. Turn offs include mean people and trying to figure out how to write an interesting author bio.

She doesn't write about the typical men you normally read about in erotic romance novels. She likes her men brainy and just this side of manic.

She's an introvert, she loves coffee, Internet, British television, and pot stickers. And pie. She loves pie.

.....What do I tell you?

Do I say this book made me giggle? Yes... Do I tell you that the characters are fun, interesting and sexy? Yes... Do I tell you that, after a particularly sexy thigh clenching moment, I sent a very naughty text to my hubby because this book got me so hot and bothered that I NEEDED him? Ummm no I probably won't tell you that ...

Noelle is a quick and very easy read. Part of the Dishabille Sextet series. I haven't been much into the Dom/sub thing in a very long while but this book only briefly touched on the subject, I didn't mind at all!

Noelle is a therapist in search of....something. For the sake of research and to fill a sexual need, that she can't quite grasp, she puts out ads. The end result of these ads will either make you laugh or get so fired up, only a long (hard *wink wink*) hose will be able to extinguish the flames *fans self*

Tyrone is a Dom looking for.... something/someone, to not play games, to submit, wholeheartedly, and quench a thirst he can't quite sate. Tyrone comes off as a bit of an ass to the woman that answer the ads. His "test" is a bit too trying... Of course when our duo gets together things are a different story altogether!

I thoroughly enjoyed this book and am dying for the next one!!! THANKFULLY the next installment will be out soon (May 23rd)!!! This is part of a series and while you can wait I suggest you start the series NOW! Arden Aoide seems to always write such exceptional smutty easy to read novels that consist of likable characters, smoking hot scenes and an all around fun read.

Once again Arden's prose is amazing. She manages to drag her readers into her stories making you feel as if you are watching it live. In Noelle we see into the mind of two sexy deviant characters journey to find the perfect partner. Little do they realize they already had it but let it go. This book is full of hot sexy scenes and you also get a glimpse into the inter workings of two sexually frustrate deviant characters that will leave you panting for more. I absolutely love everything Arden writes especially when you get to see the inner Psyche of her characters

I'm having way too much fun with this series. NEED to know what happens with Tyrone, Noelle and Vega. Vega's story is going to be interesting.

The start of this book is quite intriguing because it is not clear in which direction the story is heading. Nevertheless, it was an enjoyable read cataloguing Noelle and Tyron’s trolling experiences. Noelle likes to keep her night life exciting, and that is the point of her little experiments; that way it feels safer than actually giving in to the sort of madness she truly craves because one day she might go too far. Noelle needs a new Ad and a new name to add to the mix; she has a few throw-away names for when she wants to stir up trouble or when she is more intrigued than wise. When Noelle meets a man, it is because their shared messages have stimulated her and while she gets braver with her anonymous want Ads, she needs to be more specific. By day Noelle is a psychiatrist with a specialisation in sex therapy. While she enjoys one-on-one experiences, she is good at keeping them separate from what she did at night. Noelle likes the science of attraction and had found something like love once with Tyrone. It is why she chose this path; she became obsessed with sex and relationships because of him. Tyrone is not going to change but wonders if his expectations are unreasonable; he just wants a girl who desires to take a particular path with him. It is time to modify his Ad; they were normally too short and vague. Tyrone’s first meetings were always him testing patience and simple obedience. Noelle was all his fault and the one that got away. Noelle fills his thoughts, but he is just existing and wants someone to share his life with. Tyrone answers an obscure Ad of Noelle’s and while they are both cynical about love, romance and kink they enjoy talking to each other. What will be their reaction to one another when they finally meet? A copy of this book was provided to me with no requirements for a review. I voluntarily read this book and my comments here are my honest opinion.

This was my first read of an Arden Aoide book and it sure as shit is not going to be my last. Oh man this book KICKED ARSE....5 beautiful well deserved stars!

Most of the time when I read a book, there are usually some sections that just annoy the crap out of me, but this book did the opposite - the author just kept surprising me with her/his? completely non-cliched character descriptions which made me genuinely smile and laugh out loud.

So lets agree that mainly characters have luscious thick hair with the heroine all feminine and beautiful and the hero all masculine.....but here are a couple of ways Noelle and Tyrone were described :-)

Noelle
I let my hair dry and fall where it wanted. I didn't have much of it anyway

Tyrone
My stupid hair didn't help. It was dark brown and too thick, and I kept it long out of laziness. I could keep it short and neat, but it was easier to just tie it back. Honestly , from the back, I looked like a girl. A very large woman.

There are so many more quotes that I loved in this book but no time to waste, I have to download the next one in the series......

(only one gripe, just over 100 pages.....really? Surely that's only a third of a book?)

This book was provided to me for an honest review.
The storyline was so different to other books I have read. I really was not sure where it would end up. I enjoyed being kept on my toes. I also found it extremely appealing how there were smaller sub-stories within the major plot.
My critique would be how suddenly the book would move between perspectives and some of the chapters felt jarring to me.
It is such an interesting writing style and something completely different to the norm. It was a refreshing read with some confronting themes.
I did really enjoy it and would definitely read the next one in the series.

Arden has such a unique writing style and it always leaves me wanting more. I was excited to get my hands on another one of her books and it certainly didn’t disappoint. Noelle is a psychiatrist how likes to spend her evenings meeting random men for sex or fun. She calls it “research” but she’s really just looking for the right person for her who will allow her to experience the unique sexual freedom she craves. She finds it with Tyrone, who she already knows. But is she willing to let him back into her life? Warning: this does not end in a HEA but you enjoy the darker side of sex you will love this book.

I voluntarily reviewed a complementary copy from the author with no obligation.

This is the first book by this author that I have read, and I think I will try her again.
At first, I was confused and had trouble getting into it, but I kept going and ended up intrigued. Now I want to know how things go between Noelle and Tyrone.

Noelle is a sex therapist who enjoys hands on research. Actually she's looking for that one man who can satisfy her sexual desires. Noelle knows Tyrone can but after breaking her heart shes leary to trust him again.
Tyrone wants a D relationship. He made the mistake of letting Noelle leave.
Will the Ad bring them back together?
Can't wsit to read Vega's story.

WTF! I have read works of Arden Aoide before so I guess I shouldn't really expect anything less of some f- up shit. Do note this type of read isn't for everyone or the easy romantic. Noelle and Tyrone were once together but couldn't find it to be at the same point in what they wanted in order to stay together. Tyrone ended it and Noelle hated him for it. Tyrone was one at that point to see how he could torture women by having them kneel on concrete upwards of 30 mins. Noelle was a Psych therapist who had her own explorations of the sexual world in the evenings. The way Arden wrote the story with a viewpoint back and forth between the main characters was a great way to read this story. The sexual tension even frustrated myself. The ending was abrupt. I want more. And I'm after more in the series once I have Wi-Fi. I completed this on a plane. :)

This book is the story of two people who are bored with their current love lives, they are both looking for something to spark their interest. Noelle has been hurt and is sure that she doesn't want more than a wild night, or does she?
Tyrone is looking for more but doesn't know where to start, until he takes a chance. A chance that will open both of their eyes to a world of possibilities.
Arden does a fantastic job of painting a story and creating intriguing characters.

Another amazing story from Arden Aoide! She writes such memorable characters that draw you in to their world of mischief. I honestly get a little giddy when I have a new story to read, because it means I get to stimulate my mind as well as my body.

Noelle is a therapist with a penchant for anonymous sex. Tyrone is a grade A jerky jerk face who broke her heart. They both have their issues, and years later they still haven't let each other go.

This story barely touches the surface of all that Noelle and Tyrone could be. You are definitely left wanting/needing more, but in a good way. I absolutely loved this story.
