Splice the DNA of Hulk (H) and Wolverine (W) together and you get - Weapon H! This is pure fanboy (or fangirl) escapism; of course the Weapon X program is still in existence; of course there more 'projects' that we don't know about - of course we are going to find out that there are some very dangerous hybrids out there!

Marvel is continuing the Weapon H character's story even more. Now he has his own title. Part Hulk/Wolverine.

But you have to wonder...how many Hulk and/or Wolverine spinoff characters can Marvel and the reading public handle? From the original Bruce Banner Hulk, to his cousin She-Hulk, to the new young Totally Awesome Hulk, and so on. Now throw in another Wolverine spinoff character: Wolverine (Logan), Old Man Logan, All New Wolverine, Wolverine's son and so on and so on. Heck, even DC has gotten into the act lately with Damage (as yet another Hulk wanna be).

I will give this series a shot, but so far it looks an awful like the first Hulk stories when Bruce was always on the run. Same deal here, as Clay needs to keep moving and always looking for work and trying to stay out of trouble. Which of course he cannot, or it would be a dull book.

Smash or Slash? I say Both!! SNIKTTTT

I felt the appearance of Clay had improved ten folds from what he looked like in Weapon X: Hunt for Weapon H. In the latter, he had those strange twisted expression and terminatorish hairdo. Now that he has his own comic, the creators should continue with the new look. There is something about this comic that reminds you of the reclusive world of Bruce Banner and also of the "search for my past" world of Logan. However this blend of both worlds gives you something unique. That makes Clay a unique character. There are also other reasons why this comic became a favorite. We have a Wendigo let loose, Doctor Strange making an appearance, and a closer look into the world of Clay's family.

You know what? This wasn't half bad. It was so not half bad that I have an itch to go back and read the WMD mini and maybe even the Weapon-X series that followed and led to here.

It wasn't amazing, but...it does have a little hook to it.

Nothing much happens here. You've got two of the Marvel greats - Hulk and Wolverine - combined into one super powered character. It's too much, in my opinion. I'd find developing his one weakness to be more interesting rather than having a nearly invincible monster.
