At thirty-two years old, Brishelle is young, beautiful, single, and churchgoing. Desperate to find a God-fearing man in the church, Brishelle falls in love with the very handsome, but very married church keyboardist, AJ. While being taken on the romantic ride of her life, an unwanted surprise and a shocking revelation make it difficult for Brishelle to stay on the path of righteousness. Will she and AJ make beautiful music forever, or will their song suddenly stop? Only God knows.
I can't even feel sorry for Brishelle. She is too old to know the consequences for dealing with men like AJ. What I wont do is place all the blame on her though because AJ is equally responsible as well. However I did feel a little pity for her because of what she walked in on and saw. Tasha try to act blind. She know AJ is trifling on so many levels. I wasn't surprised by AJ and Brandon. It didn't take long to figure out what the two of them were up too. AJ seems to be wearing many masks but the way this ended. I have a feeling everything he's hiding and lying about. Is going to come out sooner rather than later.
Brishelle was a desperate, delusional hot mess. She thought she had it all together and better than other women, even the one whose husband she tried to steal. How could she judge Tasha or her marital situation not even knowing anything about her? And she called herself a Christian. SMH. The things she did on sacred ground, Lord, I'd be afraid of a lightning bolt from God's wrath. And AJ is a snake who told Brishelle everything she wanted to hear just to get what he wanted. These people pretending to be saints...Can't wait to see how this plays out.
I could not bring myself to have not even an ounce of sympathy for Brishelle and the mess she created. There were times she seemed to have lost her mind when it came to AJ. Her mom & best friend Tiera gave her valuable advice, but Brishelle wanted to take the wicked route. This was a good first read by this author. This story has me looking to place my other books on hold until I complete this series
This was a good book. I really dislike Brishelle. I can’t figure out why she thought God would send her someone else’s husband...I can’t wait to read part 2 and I hope Bri gets it together. I would recommend this as a must read. Great job Destiny...
This was my first read by this author and I enjoyed it. It was a good read and I can't wait for PT.2. I don't what made Brishelle think that messing with a married man and that God sent him to her. Twisted way of thinking and a real eye opener. I hope she gets her act together. Good job Destiny.
This was a good read, and the first read by this author for me. You will never have another woman’s husband, and the church is no better than high school bullies. I can’t wait to read part two....
I can't believe that there is this much sin in the church. But it has made for am interesting read. Hope the final will be out soon. And that AJ gets what's coming to him.
Girl you are soooo slow. To be raised in a church and think the way you do is ridiculous. You put yourself on this high pedestal and at the same time knocked yourself off your own pedestal. You are sad!
This was my story-stayed 23 yrs with "the married man" b4 I figured out he wasn't gonna leave his wife...I loved this story and the twist at the end. On to book 2!!
Brishelle should have known absolutely nothing good was going to come from dealing with AJ. God will never bless you and give you someone else's husband never.
Brishelle is a young, beautiful, single, churchgoing, confused young lady. Brishelle is desperate to find a man. Brishelle falls in love with AJ; the married keyboardist at church. AJ tells Brishelle everything that she wants to hear. She is looking for love in all the wrong places.
Very good read, single women if he is married leave him alone, or you may get more than you bargain for. Meeting men in church is not always the answer. The ending was a bit of a cliff hanger, what's next.
