I think Kora Knight is responsible for some of the most outrageously hot and ridiculously kinky smut I've ever come across, but also manages to like sneak in these really well done arcs of character growth, smoking hot chemistry and surprisingly organic growth of emotional intimacy in romantic relationships.
The premise of this story is truly kind of stupid (don't think about it too closely, just nod and smile). After losing in a card game to some Frat Bros, Tad is given the option to take an ass kicking or get a flogging. Given that Tad has no interest to end the night with broken bones he takes the flogging option, but finds himself in trouble when he has undeniable and intense chemistry with Scott, the man who's meant to deliver his punishement.
These books manage to walk the fine line of a slow burn gay awakening without any real internalised homophobia which was kind of nice. Tad was just a bit slow on the uptake, bless him. I really appreciated the discussion in book 2 about Scott's lack of knowledge about the exact circumstances that brought Tad to him in book 1 cause the dubious consent element didn't make much sense to me in the context of his character at the time.
I enjoyed book 1, but book 2 was my favourite of this collection (book 3 was my least favourite, the scenes with Max and Sean's BDSM exhibitionism didn't do much for me but Scott and Tads scenes together were as hot as you come to expect).
Another example of a fabulous audiobook performance, where the narration really elevated the reading experience. Once again I don't know how seriously I would have been able to take this book just reading it but the listening experience that Michael Pauley provided was super hot.
Good work Kora Knight for being the only author who could write something hot enough to make me look past the main characters name being Tad and not hyperfixate on how ridiculous a name that is 😂😂

Not really sure how that’s possible or why but it kept happening. 😂 I have been eyeing this forever but kept putting it off because the name Tad is so off putting to me. I dont know why but Tad and all the names that rhyme like Chad, Brad, Thad etc along with Chet, Ted, Trey, Donald/Ronald are just not appealing to me at all. But I digress.
If anyone is in the mood for short novellas with fuck hot sex, this is for you. I loved the first two books but the 3rd took awhile to hook me due to the other couple present (there is no sharing, just voyeurism). However, the 3rd book had the most romance and I actually really like Scott and Tad. But FFS is Tad oblivious 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️ Everyone knows Tad is gay except Tad. It’s super ridiculous and makes me laugh. 😂

Totally weird reason for the initial meeting of the MC’s but I think you just gotta roll with it. The chemistry between these two was 🔥 Surprisingly strong relationship development and character depth forming amongst the very detailed, somewhat bizarre, kinky sex scenes. Strangely addictive. I need to know how these two end up. I only wish his name wasn’t Tad.

Hot, hot, smokin’ hot, and if I haven’t stressed it enough, this story is HOT. This is erotica of the finest quality; add in adorable way these two guys fall for each other, and Up-ending Tad is one of the most enjoyable series out there.
Kora Knight has these two characters down. Both guys are kinda macho, and when they get all nervous, “gosh, does he really like me?” my heart just melts. Scott’s seduction and Tad’s acquiesce work perfectly together, and I was rooting for them from the get-go.
One of my all time favorite narrators, I never doubted that Michael Pauley was going to rock this one. There’s a reason I call him a virtuoso of erotica, he adds more to a love scene than anyone else I know. Pauley has a keen ability to really understand the characters and where a story is going. He doesn’t over-act, just keeps it sexy and builds the tension sloooowly till it reaches the inevitable pinnacle we’re all waiting for.
There’s so much to love about the audiobook version of Up-ending Tad. This is pure down and dirty erotica, with the sweetest gay-for-you romance blended in. Whether you’re a fan of the books like I am, or discovering this series for the first time, the combination of Kora Knight’s beautiful writing and Michael Pauley’s gorgeous voice is going to give you hours of pleasure.

I listened on audio, which is quite possibly one of the best listening choices I've ever made. Michael Dean was OUTSTANDING. Even though I already paid for the audiobook, I felt like I needed to send the man a tip by the time I was done 😮💨

WOW!!! This bundle of 3 novels has got to be one of the HOTTEST I've read. Detailed Hot Sex between Tad, a college student, and Scott, a Personal Trainer!! They originally meet when Tad, who is straight, loses in a poker game and three guys in the frat house give him two options....get broken limbs or get whipped with a flogger by a man who does some BDSM...Tad is scared especially when he meets Scott, but Scott is a very personable, feeling person. They end up in a dungeon who Scott's best friend/roommate uses for his DOM/Sub activities, but on occasion Scott uses it. Tad gets introduced to something that blows his mind and has the most mind-blowing sex he has ever had. This completely up-ends Tad's world since he has always been straight!!
The two men start an adventure which gets more and more intense...The three books continue their adventure into the world of Sex, Emotions, and even BDSM. A world that Tad struggles with because he really likes Scott and the activities they share together. Scott is gay and he is outwardly showing his feelings for Tad!! Holy Hotness Batman. This was a treasure trove of smutty BDSM goodness. Not too harsh, no edge play, just pretty solid MM action with an interesting story. At first it seemed very PWP but that changed for me in book 2 because the characters started thinking about actions, the future, and what was happening. Emotions were displayed and thought about. Really liked this set!

Wow!! A fascinating, never-ending journey of erotic discovery from Kora, admittedly with a few typos BUT I loved the pairing of Tad and Scott, and OMG Scott must have been a Duracell bunny in another life, he just didn't stop, hehe!! 5 stars from me.

What took me so long to listen to this? I have no idea but boy am I happy I did. This book is hot, hot, hot. The whole thing. Scott & Tad - wow! I already downloaded Books 2-6 and am listening now. Michael Pauly did an amazing job narrated both characters.

Ooh wow. Sexy sexy sexy times! And it’s interesting because there’s not a significant plot with this but I find Tad and his situation so curious. Scott is also a bit of an anomaly. He could just be some gym bro but he clearly has something significant going on.

Ok let me say first off that I was recommended this author through another author that I review ARC's for. I was expecting the same writing style and type of story lines that I had ARC'ed...WOW was i mistaken!!! Happily tho.. This series is not for the faint of heart but it is so worth it! From the very beginning i was pulled into Tad and Scott's story. Both men seemingly so self assured in their lives and masculinity until they meet each other and then it seems that everything that they thought they knew of themselves was possibly not true at all. They bring something out in each other that is unbelievably beautiful and yet scary for both of them.
Tad is a lost soul who doesn't really know what he wants, until the choice is taken out of his hands and put in the VERY capable hands of Scott. Scott brings Tad to the very edge and gives him a soft place to land.
I went into this book as if it was a challenge to myself to break out of the reading habits ive formed as of late but i'm so utterly happy that I read this. Actually i was sent the first 3 by the author about 24 hours ago and ended up with a e-reader hangover when I fell asleep reading the 3rd book at 5am lol. Then slowly allowed myself to read little bits of the rest all day while i waited for Kora to send me the 4th and 5th lol. So, now that I have the 4th and 5th in my greedy little hands ill be diving into those immediately because I just cant wait to see this story unfold and silently pray that both Tad and Scott get their happy ending that they deserve.

Reread for the third time! New release for Max coming out!
2nd read 10/5/15 I'm not a big fan of college age stories but I'm a fan of college boys being flogged! I remembered I am not a fan of calling someone "dude" during sex scenes.

Holy heckin spice, Batman!!! Ok, no joke, for the first volume I was like “oh. So this is basically porn with no plot? Ok, I’m cool with that!” And then by the end of this set of three I find myself legitimately intrigued about where the story is going! Many facets of Scott are shown here and Tad is really trying to figure some stuff out. The plot is 100% there, so DON’T STOP AFTER THE FIRST VOLUME! You may find more than you thought!
The smut in this book is DELICIOUSLY descriptive. Honestly, probably some of the best written smut I have read in the sense that you feel like you are there in the room with them while it’s happening! Delectable.

Up-Ending Tad Bundle
I just loved these three books so far. I loved how Tad was coming to terms with his feelings for Scott. I especially liked how Scott is trying not rush Tad and his feelings about him. Scott is taking slow but putting his foot down when needed. I can not for the next book in this series. Erin

This is very well written erotica. I listened to these as audiobooks and they are read by one of my favorite narrators. I would have given them 5 stars, but Tad got on my nerves sometimes. Of course I liked them enough to buy the next 3 books.

I finished listening/reading Upending Tad: A Journey of Erotic Discovery Bundle 1-3 about an hour or so ago . And, do you know, why I didn't write a review right away? I will tell you anyways. Well, I had to take a cold shower , because O.M.G. this book is hot. Seriously folks , I almost had a spontaneous human combustion 😜 hence , my bucket of cold water🙊🙉🙈
Kora Knight brilliantly explores desire and self discovery . Through Tad's , one of the MC, eyes we experience his trepidation , wants and desires. His awakening to his true sexual identity and how for the first time in his life , he freeing himself . And through Scott's, our other hero, eyes we feel how strong is their connection . Scott understand , he has to let Tad decide what he wants in his own time frame. He knows what he wants but it's up to Tad , to take that next step.
I don't rehash what you already read from the blurb and I also don't do spoilers. What I do is , say if I enjoyed the book or not and why.
Well, I was hook, line and sinker within the first two pages of this series; so much so, that I stopped adulting since yesterday in the afternoon when I began listening/reading it.
Why? Because Tad and Scott story is bold, adventurous , sexy, dirty talking, sexually explicit and rousing tale.
Michael Pauley as the narrator is phenomenal. His voice is utterly delicious and on point.
The story itself is fantastic and hot , adding Michael's passionate voice to the mix , makes Upending Tad Bundle , off the charts hot and a truly pleasurable experience.

Kora Knight is bringing in the New Year with some HEAT!! Up Ending Tad: A Journey of Erotic Discovery is a short story series. The end of each story is a little bit of a cliff hanger but it also feels right to take a small break there. Well played/timed Kora! These stories do need to be read in order, after all it is a journey and journeys are better if you join at the beginning. *wink*
Tad’s journey starts with a choice, a choice between the lesser of two evils, at least in his mind. But to the reader *sighs* oh what a deliciously decadent choice he has made. This makes me think Scott may also be on a little journey of his own. If so will they stay on the same path and what will happen when they reach the next fork? Time will tell.

I will let you know that the way Kora Knight has written these stories you may get a bit of an erotic discovery as well.
