Relatively simple but entertaining read on the history and evolution of tanuki folklore in Japan. If you're unfamiliar with Tanuki stories I'd definitely recommend picking this up, however if you're more familiar with tanuki lore then a more advanced book on the subject may be preferable.

Enjoyment

I thought this read interesting. Thank you I would seek out similar stories of Japanese lore and mythical creatures. Crap I need one more work...okay, Amen.
