The eighth book in the sexy International Guy Series from #1 New York Times bestselling author Audrey Carlan.
Berlin, Germany. A gorgeous new client is looking for a few good men.
It’s time for me to get my head back in the game. I’d love nothing more than to enjoy the times with Skyler and the guys, but I’ve got a business to run and we’ve just landed our most high-octane case ever in Berlin. Besides, who better to come up with a cutting-edge advertising campaign than us? And since we’re International Guy, you can expect nothing less than for us to go full throttle for our client.
International Guy is used to life in the fast lane and this should be an easy ride, but this case is more than any of us bargained for and if we’re not careful, this job could rip us apart. If we’re going to make it through this case, we’re going to need to bring in reinforcements. Somewhere along the line, this team became my family and I won’t let anything come between us.
About the Series
Parker Ellis, CEO of International Guy Inc., advises the wealthiest people in the world on life and love. And sometimes he can’t help it when things heat up and he ends up in bed with his clients.
This International Guy knows that there’s a whole world waiting for him. But as he goes from city to city—and from woman to woman—it’s possible that he just might find his own love along the way…
This is the eighth book in a twelve-novella series.
‘Brave The Ride’ Wow what an interesting story. The IG men head to Berlin to help a motor company with an advertising issue. Needless to say what they agree upon creating, is nothing if not perfect. Parker has to enlist help from Wendy's fiance Michael and oh boy do things get very interesting. Seriously creative genuises at work The Berlin trip is funny, entertaining and you really get a sense of the bond of family the IG men and friends have. Parker always has such profound words and I thoroughly enjoyed it. There is also an element of suspense kind of behind the scenes and it’s racking my brain as to who it may be but isnt that the beauty of reading a story where you are so intrigued you are just chomping at the bit to find things out???
The guys are off to Berlin to help OhM Motors market a line of hybrid cars and hopefully take the world by storm with their brand of advertising. This is one tough case and big money is at stake so the guys call in reinforcements. They use their connections with Mick and have him and Wendy join them. In this one we learn some very interesting things ab0ut Mick's past and how far he is willing to go to make his girl happy. We also get to meet Parker's brother Paul who has a surprise/secret he wants to share with him before heading back state side to tell te rest of the family. This added to the Mick/Wendy aspect really addded such dimension and intrigue to the already titillatiing tale of the IG guys.
**Received an ARC of the complete Volume 3 through NetGalley. Voluntairly reviewed**
The way I love all of these guys. I’m obsessed, I truly love these characters so much.
Berlin treats us to a woman with a business in cars in need of an advertisement for her new line that’s about to release. The ones that have been made are a bore and it’s up to the guys to bring something new and fresh to the table with the help of an unsuspected man.
This book hit hard with twists again but not with a person you’d expect. Michael has a past and we’re about to dive straight into it and boy, what a bad one it is but with the badass Wendy at his side he can do anything.
I’m really really intrigued to see who is sending these messages, I have my suspicions but I’m not 100% sure if they’re accurate, time will tell haha.
Great Series of Novellas Parker is in Berlin to try and solve an advertising dilemma and he needs to call for reinforcements from Michael but that means Michael and Wendy coming face to face with a woman from his past and is Wendy up for the trip after the shooting in Montreal. Berlin also sees Parker catching up with his brother who is based in Germany as a special operative in the forces and he has news he needs to share with his younger brother. What I loved about this book was seeing Wendy come into her own to protect the man she loves as well as seeing why Micheal is the way he is with Wendy why he feels the need to protect.
Mmmm another stellar story in this series. All impeccably written with the humor and love I've come to adore from Audrey.
Parker, Roy and Bo are all off to Berlin to help an auto company launch their line of environmentally friendly vehicles. Feeling in over his head, Parker calls in a favor from Mick, Wendy's very protective and possessive fiancé. Only there's a complication, a conflict between IG's client, Monika, and Mick. As the story unfolds we get some great insight into Wendy and Mick's relationship, his past and most epically - their well thought out plans for their future. Will Monika come between Mick & Wendy or will Wendy put her in her place? Ha ha based on her spit fire tendencies I think you can make an educated guess what Wendy might do or say.
We get a surprise visit from Parker's brother Paul. A heartwarming time with all of the family, both blood and not, together in one place. It was fantastic. Entertaining. All the quick witty banter, steaminess between Park & Sky and of course all the ball busting these guys can throw at each other.
The vague anonymous text messages and random mail have Parker and Nate on high alert. This situation and Sky's safety are heating up. Who is the mystery stalker? I am even worried for them. Nate & Rachel are bad asses but have their work cut out for them as this saga continues. I have a theory on who it is but I'll read along and let it out play out. Time will tell!
Parker and Skylar are constantly challenged it seem to meet each one. When Skylar is threatened, Parker steps up to the plate and tries to solve all her problems with the help of his connections at IG. There is lots more to come but don't want to spoil anything. I recommend this book and look forward to the next one.
Parker, Bo and Royce set off to Berlin to help a high end, hybrid car company with the launch of their new vehicles. The company has enlisted several advertising companies to write campaign's and all fell flat. The boys know this case is going to take all their resources and contacts. Wendy is still not back to work full time but she and Mick are needed in Berlin.
Loved that we got to spend a little more time with Mick and learn more about him and Wendy as a couple. Audrey has done such a great job of bringing the secondary characters into the story. This is such a fun, easy read.
Berlin what a story. We see the likes of some weirdo stalker starting in on Skypark. And the background between Mick and the client just wow. I now understand why Wendy is his world. They're amazing and the way they made a great campaign that related to everyone. Then you throw in Parker's gay older brother. This story is saucy and sweet
Skyler “Peaches” Paige, & Parker Ellis always enjoy their hot sex together, anytime/anywhere. Next stop Wendy, & Michael Pritchard’s (MP Advertising CEO) place. Berlin, Germany. OhM Motors. Mrs. Monika Schmidt (German) welcomed Bogart “Bo” Montgomery, & Royce Sterling. The 3 of them were watching 2 different advertising videos. Now it was time for Bo, & Royce to show their adverting campaign.

A very awesome book cover, great font & writing style. A very well written business thriller book. It was very easy for me to read/follow from start/finish & never a dull moment. There were no grammar/typo errors, nor any repetitive or out of line sequence sentences. Lots of exciting scenarios, with several twists/turns & a great set of unique characters to keep track of. This could also make another great business thriller movie, or better yet a mini TV. To be continued? It was just OK for me so I will only rate it at 4/5 stars.

Citazione preferita: " "Significherebbe tutto, per me. Ma cosa mi dici di New York?" "A New York tu non ci sei" "
So many feels, this story has it all. The same sexy International Guy, men, Skylar, the very loveable Wendy, but it was the addition of Parker’s brother who took a major part of the story.
While Wendy continues to heal, and the love affair between Parker and Skylar is back on track, the whole IG team head to Berlin- to OhM Motors, an up and coming car brand for every person. It is International Guy who heads up the advertising m but needed some extra help, Parker uses his new found friendship with Michael Prichard, for extra support. That that comes a history, so torrid it has big to go Mick on his knees hoping Wendy doesn’t lose it big time. Never underestimate Wendy, the woman might be total badass, but she is a beautiful woman inside and out.
On a total side story, Parker’s missing brother shows back up, in Berlin with some huge news. It has been so many months since Parker saw Paul, and he’s going to use every second he can. In an emotional reunion, Parker will a whole new side to his brother…
Add in Bo and Royce and this story will pull every string. The team really is an amazing group, together they will take on everything, for the greater good.
Parker and the guys are called to Berlin to help out Monika Schmidt's campaign to sell cars around the world. With the help of Mick's advertising company, Parker knows that this campaign will be be a hit. However there is a bit of a snag in Parker's plan when he finds out that Monika and Mick share a shaky past, one that could put his relationship and friendship with Mick and Wendy on the line. Can Parker deliver what the client wants without jeopardizing his friendship? In the end the IG team once again knocks it out of the park thanks to Mick's genius advertisement team and Roy, Bo and Parker's FULL BODY involvement in the advertisement.
While dealing with the campaign dilemma Parker is overwhelmed and extremely happy to hear from his brother Paul whose been MIA while serving in the army. Paul reveals a secret that surprises Parker at first, but accepts full heartedly. Then there are the texts from the unknown stalker who keeps terrorizing Parker and Skyler. As they start to get more threatening and unsteady, Parker and Skyler fear for her safety. Berlin was full of surprises and acceptance. I love how friendships grew and strengthened and not allowing the past to dictate ones future. Berlin was definitely braving the ride.
Parker and his friends this time are called to go to Berlin to help beautiful Monika Schmidt with her campaign of selling cars around the world! This month we will have two new characters introduced in the series. Parker's older brother, Paul who is an army soldier and he has not revealed years and I secret romance!
When we get past the book we have the boys helping the client's business, they need help and call Wendy's fiancé, but the big surprise is that Mick and Monika have had a rather troubled past and this will put a bit of a confrontation between the characters but Wendy also goes the trip to keep an eye on her man and this ends up causing an even greater discomfort, but Wendy will not bow her head to ex fiancé of him .
Paul enters this scenario to tell Parker a secret, that he has arranged a person, but he wanted to tell his brother before introducing the person to his family. Paul has a great significance in this story since he also helps in this process of the brother in Berlin, The car show was repaginada with models of the army met by his older brother!
For the first time since book one the full compliment of International Guy are working together on site. Parker, Bo & Roy are off to Berlin to help with the launch of a series of eco cars. After seeing the concepts they have to work with, they realise that they’ll have to start from scratch so as they’re up against it time-wise they call in reinforcements in the shape of Wendy and her fiancé Michael. It turns out he owns one of the biggest advertising firms in the US. Little do they know there’s some bad history between Michael and Ulrika, the representative for car company.
This has got to be my favourite book in the series so far. The entire team working together on site with the added bonus of a huge helping of my favourite characters, Wendy and Michael. This group aren’t just friends and colleagues. They’re family and you can see this clearly. They might fight and argue amongst themselves but they are there for one another no matter what. Can’t wait for Washington.
I LOVE this Series! You get surprise after surprise with each book.
Berlin definitely delivers. You will find out more about Mick and what makes him the way he is.. You will see how amazing Wendy really is.. I mean I know she has always been incredible, but you see a different side of her that is enlightening. It was fun to get a glimpse of their BDSM lifestyle and see just how committed they are to one another.
You will also get to meet more of Parker's family and OMG it is amazing!
You will find yourself falling more in love with Skyler and Parker, if that is possible. They are definitely a force to be reckoned with. Are they finally in their comfort zone? Someone is after them and wants what they have, but who? Who is watching? Skyler is no stranger to the spotlight, but who knows her every move? AHH WE NEED MORE!!
Do not miss this Series. I cannot wait to see what happens next.
