This is a novella tying up the SEALs of Steel series.
A prosthetic design engineer, Kat Greenwald is in love with Badger Horley. The former SEALs team leader is the love of her life. But she's seen and heard firsthand of the fears and commitment issues Badger and his closest friends--once part of Navy special operations teams--struggle with on a daily basis. During their weekly get-togethers, the women in love with these former SEALs open up to each other about their longing to tie the knot and start families. More than two years ago, Badger was badly injured after the truck his eight-man unit were in hit an antitank landmine. While he and his team have finally discovered the truth behind that devastating set-up, Badger sees the reality of his precarious future.
His health could decline at any moment and he wants Kat to know exactly where the door to get out is if and when it does. The last thing he wants to do is invite pity, especially where the woman he loves is concerned. In a perfect world, he would have proposed to her the day they met. In the world he lives in, he can only conclude that harboring fears are always better than regrets.
But Kat isn't the type of woman to fear hard times and she's willing to take a leap of faith as far out into the unknown as she can get if it means her most fervent wish comes true.

This one definitely a sweet perfect ending to an amazing series. It's a fast-paced epilogue full of of love and sweetness, it's kinda exaggerated for me, but I still enjoying it nonetheless, especially the banter between these seven SEALs and their women, their togetherness, the tight friendships thicker than blood, their loyalties, an assurance that you alwayds got someone to watch your back, oh yes those are all the things that make me love this series, also lovable characters that always got me smiling.
If you are following this series, you must read this book, if you haven't well...what are you waiting for, go read this suspense military romance series.

This is a final book in the series and I couldn't have asked for a better way to wrap the series up. With everything this group of SEALs had dealt with seeing them well on their way to HEAs warmed my heart. What Kat and the other ladies have in store for their guys is a daunting task, but one from the heart. If you enjoyed this series I highly recommend reading this novella because it's the perfect touch and gift to readers.
This was a beautiful, fitting end for everyone. It took a lot of planning, and nerves for the ladies but well worth it in the end. And finally with everything behind the guys, they can finally figure out what their business will be. And there was another surprise at the end. Hopefully that will show up for their group. Great job Dale. Loved this series and glad for a happy ending.
This was the perfect ending to the series - so many secrets or were they secret secrets? Almost needed a road map to keep track of all the secrets. Loved the humor in this story and the ending was just perfect. Here's to hoping there's more - would love to see what the SEALs and their ladies are up to in the future.
This is the 8th and last book of the series. However, you will understand more if you’ve read earlier books of this series and the other two series by the author before you read this one. In fact, you will not understand this book unless you read the rest of the series. Further, this shows the outcome of one of the other couples in the author’s Heroes for Hire series which uses many characters throughout this series.
If you want to read what the book is about, read above the reviews.
Our hero and heroine are from book 1 as this is a continuation of their romance/history while tying up the facts and mission regarding their dead teammate. This is where our questions from throughout the series are answered completely (finally!).
The plot still sucks you in once again and you keep reading because you want to know if our heroines will be able to pull off getting married without letting the heroes find out. On top of that, they know the baddie from the series is there waiting to pounce on them and it doesn’t take long for this to happen. However, what they find out will shock and confuse you, as well, because of how the final scene on when they finally confront the baddie happens. It has all the elements but the way its written is confusing. It’s great the author tries and gets everyone involved, including the normal police which links in from our prior story in the series.
I loved how the heroines and the wedding were done and happens. I can imagine how this must have looked. Then for the last surprise which includes the couple from Heroes for Hire series which they were all shocked at as they thought it was just an excuse they would use which becomes truth. This is very well done and gives you a smile and giggle.
Overall, it’s a good series and it does keep you guessing. I liked how they went off in teams except for the last one. You could tell a great deal of thought came into the couples, spins, and baddie. Reading the other series would be a pain, if you haven’t already read them, but it’s worth reading them as well.

This is the finale to Dale Mayer’s “Seals of Steel” novel. Kat Greenwald is the heroine in the first book in this series. She loves Badger Horley and would like to get married. Badger is one of the SEALs seriously injured after their truck hit a landmine.
.Unfortunately, Badger is afraid to make a commitment to Kat because he is not sure how his health will be in the future. He is also aware that he still has a lot of surgical operations ahead of him. Because he loves Kat very much, he does not want her to be burdened with his care.
Kat, on the other hand, does not consider Badger a burden and wants to spend her life with him. So, Kat comes up with a crazy idea - a surprise wedding.
Kat turns to the six women involved with the other men in this SEAL group and asks them for advice and help. She discovers that they are in the same position - their men feel the same way as Badger and do not want to get married. Before long, they have all decided to join Kat in this surprise wedding.
In order to accomplish this surprise wedding, there are lots of secret, lots of lies and lots of convoluted stories. This is a fun romp because, in order to pull this off, the men and the women have different stories about why Kat is having this party where they have to dress up in suits and fancy dresses. Each group is told that they have to keep their “reason” a secret from each other.
This book is the ending of the “SEALs of Steel” series. Therefore, this would only appeal to readers of this series.
I love this entire series. Fortunately, even though this series is over, Ms. Mayer previews her new series, “The K9 Files. It sounds like this series will be as interesting and as suspenseful as all of her other seri
I was kindly provided this book as an ARC; in exchange for my honest review. This is book 8 in the SEALs Of Steel series.
The “SEALs of Steel” were an eight-man SEAL team unit that was misled/ambushed/given “bogus” orders that caused them to hit a landmine during transport. All the men were grievously injured and one man (“Mouse”) died. The remaining seven SEALs have solved the mystery as to what happened and why; and now they need to figure out what they want to do with the rest of their lives.
You certainly must read this series in order or you will be lost. This is definitely a series with layers of stories within a STORY.
The women who love the former SEALs open up to each other about their longing to tie the knot and start families. More than two years ago, the team was badly injured after the truck the eight-man unit were ambushed by an antitank landmine. The men fear committing because their injuries are severe and could cause more health issues down the line. This fear has made the men reluctant to marry their loves out of fear of trapping them in a “pity love” situation. The women take the initiative a leap of faith into the unknown.
Levi, I’ve, and Albert make an appearance; and Levi has a surprise all his own.
This was a “warm-fuzzy” conclusion to the SEALs Of Steel series. Much back and forth between the women, that honestly could’ve been shorter, but, overall worked. This is a fast read, it’s pretty much a forgone ending (no surprises), but nicely wraps up everything for the reader.

This series needs to be read, experienced, and felt…
OMGooshness!! WOW!! Happy tears and plenty of tissues to the end. Your fears, your honesty and those beautiful declarations of love, when they are in safe hands - just melt your heart. Bliss and breathless.
Kat Greenwald has been there from the very start. She has consoled, helped and held together the man she loves and the men that are his team mates and family. She has also been witness to the struggles to survive and the hopes and dreams when love has found each member of the Seals of Steel…
I don’t think there are going to be enough words to convey how awesome this series has been with all of its mystery, questions asked, answers, secrets, cover ups, and lies exposed. It’s been a phenomenal journey from start to finish.
Now… it’s time to see if all of the women that have made a beautiful impact on these men’s lives get to have their dreams come true.
THE FINAL REVEAL is a short quick novella — not to tidy up plot so much but more to see future direction and plans being implemented. Love conquering all. I would not use this as a stand alone book. To fully appreciate the journey and the SEALS OF STEEL series, it needs to be read and each book experienced. Right from the start, you will be drawn into the words, the emotions and intrigue that fills Badger’s and his team’s world.
It’s filled with compassion and a love, finding their footing, learning to listen, and learning to look after each other’s best interests. Learning to ask for help when you need it the most, that you don’t have to do everything on your own.
Dale Mayer has gifted you an amazing book and an incredible series…
Kat Greenwald is a highly talented prosthetic design engineer who is in love with former SEAL Badger Horley. Badger and his 6 other surviving friends were in the same unit and were severely injured in the same anti-tank landmine incident. The female partners of these members of the SEAL team all are in for the long run and would dearly love to marry and start a family - however the men are all worried about their health and fear that if they were to tie their partners down they could regret it later on. So Kat decides to meet Badger head on and take a leap of faith - she feels in her heart he will agree with her and they will get the future they both want. Will everything go to plan?
OMG - when you read this you need to have tissues, wine (or tea) and chocolate available as I guarantee you will cry at some point.Having read all of the books in this series it was lovely to have a proper finish to the story. It was lovely to read about the interactions of the team after the conclusion of the Mouse situation and the impacts of their women moving in with them. It was also great to see such strong men admit just how much they love their partners and show just how human they really were. Well written and easy to read if you've read the series you will need to read this book in order to know what happened next. The very end will have a great surprise so look forward to that.
While I love all the women now with the men in this series, Kat is my favorite. She's been around since the first book and since she designs the prosthetics the men and she's living with Badger she's been in every book. In this one she's undertaking an interesting move, a surprise wedding for her an Badger. She's figuring with his doubts within himself he may never make that move.
As she puts forth the idea, support comes from a surprising place, Levi and Ice. Levi agrees to help with subterfuge by staging a fake engagement party for him and Ice and telling the guys they can't tell their women.
But perhaps the most surprising is that all the women want in, so it won't be just Kat and Badger, it will be all of them getting married.
I have to say I had my doubts about them pulling all this off in such a short time period. It was truly educational to see how they divvied up the todo list and managed to get things organized and done.
With Badger suspecting something, Kat dreams up a group birthday party to be held during Labor Day weekend. Then when Levi calls him about the engagement party he just goes with the flow which makes things a bit easier for Kat an the others.
This was a fun read, and I loved the way things slowly came together including the last minute nerves and a surprise to top it all off.
A novel ending which I'd love to see as a beginning. This is a story at the end of the series 'Seals of Steel'. Kat who is a prosthetic design engineer and Badger who is an injured Seal are in love. Kat is afraid Badger will never commit to marriage because of his injuries and possible health issues. Badger and his Seal Team were involved in a tragic land mine explosion two years ago. He and the other six survivors have spent their time solving the mystery surrounding the explosion and the events following it as well. The seven Seals have all fallen in love during this period. This story is about Kat and her decision to go with her feelings. She gathers the other six women and they attempt to surprise the ever alert Seals. Without giving more away I can say this was a charming tale, not the mystery of the rest of the series but compelling on it's own. There are challenges to be overcome and delightful characters to accomplish it. I really enjoyed this series. I'd love to see it go on so we could follow the story of these Seals as they continue to build their lives.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
After all the problems these guys have had to deal with this is about their future's, so what they are going to do work wise and then the ladies are wanting to make their guys feel loved and wanted. Worthy of love and commitment. They all know their guys well. It is a great read and one I was a little intrigued with, how were they going to get away with the secrets hiding from these very astute men? The only down i had was after all the build up the main event was fairly short and i myself would have liked a conversation between the couples/or men after just to tie it up a little more tightly. I found this whole series to be fascinating and interesting, lots of twists and turns and suspense. Gripping throughout so I'm glad there hasn't been a long wait between books. This last novella is great as it moves the men on with where they are going from here both with careers and as couples and a team. Fabulous read as always.
This is such a great ending to a fabulous series. We are able to get to know each member of this SEAL team and their significant others throughout the series.
I love how creative they all are in their military experiences as well as at home in their personal lives. They each are unique and special. I especially love Kat for being the one to bring all of these men a wholesomeness to their bodies as well as their mental healing. She is also behind this whole scheme to finally unite the couples in this group with the ultimate surprise.
This author has the best imagination to create such intriguing stories. I read this book in just a few hours and was so excited to finally get to this segment of the series. This story satisfies and wraps up all of the stories to a lovely conclusion but leaves a tiny window open for a future something!
Enjoyed every bit of it, excellent job! I loved it!
After seven troubled, highly emotional episodes, the Seals of Steel saga reaches a turning point in book 8. The Final Reveal, in fact, is a light hearted, entertaining novelette, acting as an epilogue for the previous books, and, of course, as an opening the path for new adventures. While the story does hint at the difficulties burdening our wounded veteran protagonists, the tone remains light and joyful as the characters move towards professional and personal stability. The entire cast of characters from the previous episodes, in addition to many from Ms. Mayer’s other series, populate the narration. The plot flows nicely and is brimmed with witty dialogues and entertaining episodes. Overall, the Final Reveal is a pleasant, light, and entertaining book bound to satisfy the affectionate fans of the series, as garnering new readers to the series. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book. Opinions and comments are solely my own.
The Final Reveal by Dale Mayer SEALs of Steel Series Book Eight This book is written from Badger and Kat's point of view. They were the first couple in this series. Kat is extremely talented when it comes to creating a unique prosthetic. Badger and his unit go to Kat, as they have all lost at least one limb.
Kat has been living in Badger's awesome house for some time. She loves Badger...and his house. And that it has a pool is an extra bonus. It's also a great place for the six other men and their women to come on the weekend for barbecues and swimming.
As they sit and unwind from all that has happened over the past six weeks...Kat puts an idea she's had into motion. She wants to marry Badger and knows he'll never want to tie her down to him because of his continued medical issues. So, she's going to plan a wedding and surprise him. Great story. I had happy tears running down my face at the end. http://justjudysjumbles.blogspot.com/...
This is one of the most emotionally fulfilling stories I've read in my life.Following each of these wounded heroes as they fight to survive and to feel nd the truth behind the bomb that ended. Their Deal careers. Now the way this amazing author brings a final special surprise that shows the love that the women these men have found along the way in their search for the truth is so emotionally rewarding.I love the way this amazing author brings the characters to life before your eyes and makes you feel their emotions and their pain.you share their set backs and their steps forward.Never before have I read a set of books that are as emotionally fulfilling as this set of books has been.I have to say that I look forward to seeing these wonderful characters in future books as they live their lives. Each story is being brought to a rewarding surprise in this book and you could never tip what this story has done.I can hardly wait to see what's next by this multi talented author.
What a great book to end this amazing series with. All the men, seven of them and their seven girlfriends all getting married at the same time. The idea that Kat came up with because she knew Badger and the rest of the guys were afraid to take on their own because of their physical conditions could change at anytime. It turns out to be perfect when Kat gets Ice and Levi on board to help the girls pull off the major undertaking of holding their seven weddings at the same time at Badger and Kat's house worked out perfectly. Levi even surprised Ice by dropping to one knee and asking her to marry him. The fact that the guys now formed their own company also gave them all purpose in life and a way to stay together and make money. This was a fantastic series which I highly recommend and I hope they can branch off stories from this series in future books because these characters are all so interesting and brave.
A perfect ending wrapped up beautifully in this series featuring all the men and women of the SEAls of Stell novels starring mainly Kat and Badger, the first couple in this series. Kat wants to surprise Badger and enlists the help of all the women, including Ice and Levi, who all help to organize an epic labour day weekend celebration, keeping the men in the dark....can they pull it off. I LOVED this ending with all the women and men pulling togther, with the women pulling the wool over the eyes of the men while the men thinking they are surprising their women. There’s laughter, nerves, an epic proposal with an epic revealing from the women who will do what it takes to prove that the men in their lives are the one. An ending not to be missed !!! *I voluntarily read an advanced copy and expressed my honest opinion*
The Final Reveal is the final book of the eight book series SEALS of Steel. What a finish! Best of all, it is not a rehash of the previous books. There are just brief glimpses of the past books and the focus is on the here and now of the family of warriors (men and women). We see all 7 SEALS and their ladies, each unique in their strengths and weaknesses, their talents and their fears. I loved the books (stayed up long past bedtime to finish this book) and THE FINAL REVEAL is a fitting topper to this series. I am going to pull out my collection and will be rereading these rich tales in the very near future. Bravo !! Best of all, it is not goodbye but see you later for later books still coming up.

I absolutely loved this book. I was so happy the way things turned out for the characters. The book took all the loose ends and tied them up nicely into an exciting, clever ending. The characters were so awesome in that they seemed so "human" in their actions. The sneakiness between the characters was so funny and lifelike that I could not help but laugh at all the antics. Having the characters act so sneaky was just an awesome way to show that this could actually be a true story even though it is fiction. Loved that after the seriousness of the previous books Dale made this book so fun and included so many happy events. Hope this series continues but if not, what an awesome ending!

This is book 8 and the final book in the SEALs of Steel series. This story involves all seven SEALs and their girlfriends but spends more time with Badger and Kat. WOW! All the planning and emotional stress is incredible. I can only imagine how Kat felt. These men have all been medically discharged from the service and are a close knit family. I love how they want to live within walking distance from each other. They’re only trying to decide what to do with the rest of their lives. Leave it to the women to take charge and alter the course of all their lives forever. I love it! I only wish we could have seen each of their reactions to the big reveal.
This is a fantastic end to an equally fantastic series. BRAVO! I look forward to reading whatever this author brings us next.
We met Badger and Kat in the first book of the series, Badger, and were able to witness them falling in love first hand. Kat wants to marry the love of her life so that they can share the ups and downs that they encounter but Badger is worried that his health will make him a burden and that is something he doesn’t want to inflict on Kat.
Kat has a plan which includes the women in love with the other members of the SEAL team and the men are about to see how determined and strong their women can be.
This is a fitting conclusion to thee SEALs of Steele series as we get to reunite with all the characters we know and love from the previous books and see why they make not only great couples but a great team.
The Final Reveal brings this great series to its closure. The Seal team have been through so much together and has made them even closer than brothers. The journey has been rough but in each book they have each found that perfect woman to love. Their relationships are all at different stages but none have taken the leap into marriage due to their injuries. This book wraps everything up nicely as the women plot to turn the tables on the men and floor them with a wonderful surprise. Its sad that this series is at its end but if you have read the other books then you really dont want to miss this superb grand finale.

The mystery solved, now it's time for the seven SEALs of Steel and their ladies to put the past away and chart their futures. This story brings us full circle, focusing on Badger and Kat while seamlessly incorporating the rest of the crew. Everyone has their secret plans, and the final reveal is truly a thing of beauty.
This isn't a standalone; unless you've read the rest of the series you won't be emotionally invested in these couples. But for those of us who have followed their story right from the start, you really don't want to miss this heartwarming sendoff. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
What a great ending for an awesome series! I LOVE that the women and men had parallel “missions” that really reflected the ways each gender thinks and works. This said, I am happy that the Mouse mysteries have been solved but sad that this storyline is over. (Sorry, no spoilers here. You need to read The Final Reveal to find out how it all turns out.) I have complete confidence in Dale Mayer’s ability to incorporate these and new characters into new and interesting stories and maybe a new series. Can’t wait to read more.

The Final Reveal is the end of the Seals of Steel series. Each man has found his girl, during the search, to finding what happened to their Team. This event brought the men even closer than they were before, living close to each other, meeting up frequently, being a family. But they are a bit marriage shy, thinking their ladies can do better than them. The ladies have a different idea. Kat has only wanted to be with Badger So she starts planning a wedding, without her grooms knowledge and soon all the ladies get on board! With a little help from their friends, including Levi and Ice will they pull it off? Lovely ending to a Great Series!
I laughed, I cried, I couldn't believe how it came together and it was amazing. I loved it. I loved how everyone pulled together to get it done and well you have to read the book to see what I am blathering about. I do not want to leave any spoilers but it is so hard to put into words how much I loved this and not blow it for people. Dale Mayer has a way with words and can write anything and make it wonderful or scary or haunting. This is a feel good book and the end or is it the beginning of a new series. I know I want to read more about these amazing couples.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This was a delightful way to wrap up this wonderful series. Having a surprise within a surprise was a very sweet twist. As you read you will delight in how the men interact together as they plan not only their future but also what they believe to be the surprise. You will share the anxiety and hopefulness of the women as they plan what is to be the true surprise to show their “men of steel” how much they love them and are ready to commit to them for life. Of course, the twist at the end will please everyone who has been a long-time fan of this author. I highly recommend this very enjoyable and entertaining finale to this amazing series.
A great ending to a 7-book-series. We’ve got the mystery conclusion in the last book, yet there were still many issues unresolved. Personal issues specifically. So, yeah, they all revealed (or resolved?) in this final book. Ah, also about what they going to do next, after Mouse’s tragedy solved. Something that had been occupying their mind and time for so long. Time to move on with their lives, with help from their women of course. I also like that there’s surprise at the end.
All in all, an enjoyable read, a perfect end to a long story arc.
I was provided a complementary copy by the author / publisher through NetGalley, but this in no way influenced my thoughts or opinions.
OMG! This is a FANTASTIC story! This was a pleasure reading this story about the seven men and their women. It was truly amazing how these seven women pulled off the wedding of a lifetime. It was seven brides for seven Seals - truly an epic undertaking plus keeping their men in the dark. I loved when all of the men had shocked looks on their faces as their women walked toward them. Truly an epic ending to this series! I am so happy all of the women got their wish to marry their Seal. What a FANTASTIC job Dale! I would highly recommend this book and this series!💞
