From Audrey Carlan, #1 New York Times bestselling author of the Calendar Girl series.
London, England. International Guy is now in service to the queen—of romance novels.
I’d heard of Geneva James, the smashingly sexy, phenomenally successful British author whose steamy novels make her readers’ fantasies real. Now she’s hard at work on her latest piece of sizzling fiction—or at least, would like to be. It turns out that a case of writer’s block is making it hard for Geneva to bring her latest book to its climax.
That’s where International Guy comes in.
She’s desperately in need of inspiration—and open to any kind of help International Guy can give her. Her entire career may be riding on how this fan-favorite story ends. The last thing she wants is to disappoint her fans. The last thing I want is to disappoint Geneva. Luckily, inspiring women is my specialty. Bringing Geneva out of her funk is business. It’s also going to be a pleasure. With my team in play, I have no idea how this story is going to end.
About the Series
Parker Ellis, CEO of International Guy Inc., advises the wealthiest people in the world on life and love. And sometimes he can’t help it when things heat up and he ends up in bed with his clients.
This International Guy knows that there’s a whole world waiting for him. But as he goes from city to city—and from woman to woman—it’s possible that he just might find his own love along the way…
This is the seventh book in a twelve-novella series.
London was a much lighter read than Montreal, and much needed! I love the cameos Carlan brings to her stories, it makes me smile really hard! Park and the guys are doing well, and relationships are becoming stronger.
This is the best book in the series so far! I love the main story and I love that Skyler and Parker are both involved in it this time. All the characters are great and feelings are showed..
Wow... this one... just great (even though, I am still disappointed in the erotic scenes, they are soooo used now)
When a world announced author is having a writers block who does her agent call..... the IG team. Author Geneva James has reached her writers funk. She needs to be inspired and reminded why her top selling trilogy is on top. This time Parker is accompanied by Skyler as they set their eyes on helping Skyler's all time favorite author out of her funk. So off to London they go. When Geneva sets eyes on Skyler she can't believe her muse is there in flesh and blood. Parker and Skyler are determined to help Geneva and there's no limits to what they will do help. Oh and we can't forget that Bo too has BIG PART in helping Geneva get out of her funk. I wouldn't mind a little bit of that!
Parker and Skyler have finally reunited, bonding and reconnecting after weeks apart. Emotions run high and true feelings and expectations for their future comes tumbling out. Parker comes to terms that his past can not dictate his future and that he needs to trust his heart, and that his past relationship is not the same as his future one. Once Parker comes to terms with it and allows his feelings to break through his walls he's built around his heart... WOW what beauty that is revealed.
Audrey Carlan never stops amazing me with her words and the compassion of her characters. The way she tells their story is breathtaking and magical. London was refreshing and I am thrilled that Parker and Skyler have once again found their footing and are walking along side one another in harmony and feeding each others souls.
Parker and Skyler story continues after he breaks up with her. Their romance continues to bloom and get stronger. I freaking love this series so addicting. The characters are loving, cute and funny at times.
A writer with writers block that could possibly end her career. She’s in need of help to get her mojo back and what better person to get than her muse for the book, Skyler.
This one has been intriguing, writers block is a awful for writers so seeing these guys helping her get her writing back on track was so much fun.
And as always throwing Bo in the mix is absolutely hilarious, I love that man so much. I’m pretty sure he’s my favourite, sorry Parker.
I’m so intrigued by these random texts that they’re receiving and who they’re from, can’t wait to find out.
I was utterly lost as this is my first book in the series, but, by what I understand they are a group of people that help celebrities ??? 😵 Even though I haven't Read the previous books I liked the characters and the interactions between them is great. There wasn't much spice at all, shame. Narration was excellent. Free on ku with audio included
I can't get ENOUGH of IG. These stories are amazing. Skyler and Parker are my favorite couple. I love that Skyler got to join in on this case. Her enthusiasm for helping others is just a beautiful way and it definitely helped Geneva come out of her shell. Of course Bo helped too. And I'm pretty sure the hot cover shoot didn't hurt either. Omg I love IG!
Audrey Carlan knows how to keep me invested in her characters and her stories and London is no exception. My heart was broken and I didn’t know how and when Audrey was going to put it back together again. She left us all wondering where this series was going to go and we were all pretty shaken up in Montreal and thank goodness London has arrived. We get some much needed answers that I could have screamed at her for making me wait for....who am I kidding? I did. Of course, she makes it worth the wait!
Every book Ms Carlan writes reminds me of the value of life and love and friendship. This story solidifies that fact more than ever before. Chapter two makes me cry and laugh and burst with love and feel everything you can imagine. This team of people is incredible and we should all be so lucky to have our own tribe like that to enhance our lives.
In every tragedy, we have to pick up our broken pieces and move forward so the hard parts of life don’t swallow us whole. Everyone experiences monumental moments in their life that change and shape the person you are and it’s extraordinary. Even shattered pieces of our heart can weave themselves back together as long as we live our life to the fullest. When I boil right down to it, every book teaches me something I didn’t even realize I needed at that point in my life which proves time and time again how fantastic of a story teller Audrey Carlan is.
Since the beginning of my review seems heavy, here is the lighthearted part, lol. AC makes my heart sing in London. Who doesn’t know what it’s like to meet their favorite author and have a total fan girl moment? And if you haven’t met them yet, you imagine what it would be like. This story is sweet and endearing, but it is also spicy and hot....like panty melting hot. Geneva needs help fighting her writers block and she gets it in more ways than one with the help of Parker, Sky, and Bo. Wait until Sophie pops up and even more drama unfolds. You will swoon, laugh, sigh and be giddy as friends and lovers come together in a perfect blend of harmony that only Audrey Carlan can deliver.♥️
An author’s muse can be a fickle mistress. When she’s whispering in your ear, characters are developed, worlds are created and love, loss, angst, suspense, and more flow from head to fingertips creating works of art. But when she’s silent…when she’s silent it’s as if the birds have quit chirping, the world has ceased spinning, it’s axis off-kilter, throwing the writer into a world of darkness, anxiety and utter frustration. At the pinnacle of her career, London based, best-selling author Geneva James has met the proverbial wall. Her muse refuses to speak, silence, crickets…
International Guy’s next assignment, help this writing phenom find her muse again. She has a book to finish that not just her new publisher is counting on, but her adoring fans, hanging from the proverbial cliff awaiting the next installment of her story. There’s even a movie deal in the works if this story can get written.
Jetting off to London, this time hottie Parker James Ellis is accompanied by his love, Skyler Paige, in a two-for-one deal. The added bonus, since Skyler was the writer’s inspiration for the books heroine, publishing Agent Amy Tannenbaum promises Sky that Paramount Pictures will know this and she could get the part. This is a dream come true for Sky, who has read Geneva’s books and loves this story!
What’s that? More than whispering? Hmm…some real, hot inspiration? Aaahh yeah, again. More.
Did I love this one? Hell yeah I did! For someone who’s a pantster (writing jargon), Audrey Carlan’s writing feels so perfectly planned, everything in the story makes sense, fits just like the pieces of a puzzle. With each installment in this 12-part series, there’s an HEA at the end. We get that feeling we all seek from an HEA, yet there are many pieces left to fit in this puzzle, subtle breadcrumbs being left among the pages, that tell us there’s more than just an epic love story and some way hot Audrey Carlan signature heat.
So if you’re ready to jet to the next International Guy destination, put your seat trays up, your chairs in their upright positions, and one-click book 7, London, by the incomparable Audrey Carlan.
Audrey Carlan wrings out all the feels, makes you wish for a freezing cold shower, and gives your heart exactly what it needs! And London is no different; it is also the answer we’ve all be waiting for. As always, she has a lesson or a learning opportunity for her readers. I was not only very invested in Sky and Park, the IG Team (including Rachel and Nate), but in what I felt, learned, and how I grew from what I believed she was trying to teach me as a reader. But that’s my experience. In my opinion, the message for this installment is to have faith. Faith in others as well as in oneself, and not to let outside opinions or actions shake the foundation of it.
Suffice it to say, my faith in Parker to help Geneva James never wavered. There’s a reason why he’s nicknamed the Dream Maker. His plans were so amazing and I loved it! The impact he made on Geneva rocked and I’d say he was well worth the expense. Gah he never fails to make me grin, laugh, and feel!
One more thing? Chapter Two…*sigh* Chapter Two broke my heart and made me laugh. Weird, I know. But you’d have to read it to know why. I swear, after every installment, I feel like I just stepped off the craziest roller coaster, and I couldn’t love it more than I do now. Need more, Audrey! I’m an addict! Gimme my fix!
Geneva James, the world’s latest literary darling is one book away from completing her best selling trilogy but is suffering from a major case of writer’s block. With a movie deal hanging on the completion of the book what else can her agent do but call on International Guy to solve the problem.
After the events in Montreal it’s business as usual for Parker and his team although this time, as Geneva’s number one fan Skylar - and let’s face it, we all know how she feels - is along for the ride. With the mutual fangirling going on between Skylar and Geneva, an impromptu book signing and a large dose of Bo for inspiration, it’s not long before Geneva finds her muse again. So it’s another tick in the box for International Guy but are there clouds on the horizon? Does Skypark have a stalker and if so, who is it? I have my suspicions.
I love how this author writes characters that draw you in wanting to know more about them, even though they’re not ‘the stars of the show,. I’m now left wanting to read Geneva’s books and personally, I’d love more of her and Bo. And Rachel and Nate – how did they get together? They’re such a great partnership. Not forgetting my personal favourites Wendy and Mick. I might even have had a tear or two in my eye at one point reading this book because of them. Now it’s onwards to Berlin and their next client.
In this London edition *sighs* Parker and Sky finally make their peace and my poor broken soul gets a respite from the anguish Audrey Carlan's words evoked. I have been is a state of suspended broken heartedness since Montreal. Gah I had faith these two would find their way back, it was a gut wrenching wait though.
Parker is due in London for a client. Sky ends up along on the trip - what an adventure. Author Geneva James (I have a hunch who this character was based off of eeep) needs some inspiration and Parker is the man for the job. Sky is a huge fan of Geneva's and vice versa. The fangirling was completely relatable. These characters are amazing and well written as always. I am dying to write all the fantastic details but they're spoilers gah!
Park & Sky not only work on their issues, but build a stronger more unshakable bond then ever. It's so beautifully written. Feels all so real. Love every moment. And the best part is how Parker & Sky actually help inspire Geneva's story. Phenomenal and beautiful. Bo arrives to lend his photographic and sensual talents which of course kicks things up a notch on the heavy and hotness scale. So entertaining and steamy! (Fans self) Love, love, love!
I'm diving in to book 8 next and excited to see what Berlin brings.
Well, Audrey sure knows how to bring ALL the feels.
We finally get some of the answers that we needed. If you were like most readers and were left drained you will get some relief. This is such an amazing Series. You are always left with some inspiration and a lesson that you take something away from. The lesson in London is FAITH! We could all use that, right?
Parker, as always, just shines. He really is the Dream Maker on the team. He brings all the feels. It is amazing how he also always takes something away from every opportunity. Just as Parker fixes people he also finds himself doing some healing. This trip also requires Skylar. Parker is initially uneasy, but he decides it is for the best. Can they be what Geneva needs? Can they show her what is missing? He and Sky have had a tough time lately and we finally start to see them heal and find their way back. It is quite beautiful.
If you have not read this Series you really should. It is SO well written and ALL of the characters are nothing short of amazing. You will feel the love in this one. Be ready for more of Bo also... I am not sure if I am the only one, but he may just be my favorite ;).
This may be my favourite story in this series so far. Finally Skylar and Parker are back in track, I was quietly concerned that they might have hit the proverbial wall, but alas their love is as strong as ever, and Wendy is out of the woods, and International Guy is needed yet again, this time to romance author Geneva James.
With 2 super successful books in her trilogy, Geneva James has hit writers block like nothing else, so her editor requests not only Parker but Skylar to assist with her writing. Heading to London will be the perfect working getaway for Sky and Parker. So with Rachel and Nate VanDyken (hot sexy bodyguards) in tow, Parker will work his magic as always, but this time it is Skylar who takes the biggest role. As muse for Ms James’ stories, it only takes time before her writers block is lifted. This may also have to do with another international Guy man…
Along with this new story, that king of took possession of my heart, reoccurring characters come back into the story… London means Sophie. I adore her character and her confusion over American twang. Wendy with her take no prisoners attitude, including fiancé Micheal and of course Parker, Bo and Royce. I can wait for the next story in the series.
This series just keeps getting better and better!!!
After things cool down from the events in Montreal it's business as usual. This time Parker gets to mix business with pleasure as Sky is going to be a big help with the next client: World renowned author Geneva James. Geneva was on top of the literary world, movie options in the works she just needed to complete the third book in the trilogy but writers block is making sure it's not getting done. When IG lands on her dorrstep with Sky in tow she is thrilled that she gets to work with her muse for her character Simone. Once her creative juices get flowing there's no stopping her.
Parker and Sky have reunited and have to work on some trust issues especially after the debacle with Johan. Once past that they begin to move forward but is someone out to get them. We get the hint that maybe all the crazies were not dealt with in Montreal and that just maybe there's a new threat on the horizon.
We also get more on Wendy and her recovery and let me tell you be prepared to be gutted. That's all I'll say on that front but just wow that was some emotional stuff going on there.
**Received ARC of Volume 3 through NetGalley. Voluntairly reviewed**
Another fantastic installment of International Guy, we do not see much of Wendy in this book which I missed, as she is one of my favourite characters, but in this book we see Parker jet off to London, which is where I work so I was very excited about this one.
However Parker is not going on his own, the client's representative thinks that Skyler will also be able to help on this job. Parker is a little unsure at first, but soon realises there are plenty of pluses for having the woman he loves by his side while he works.
Geneva James is a famous author who has lost her mojo and needs to write the last book of her trilogy, but she has lost her way and does not know where to take her story.
The love that Skyler and Parker have for eachother helps Geneva to bring her story to life and having Bo there to look at has also helped her mojo.
During this book Skyler and Parker see lots of London and it was nice to hear Audrey go into such detail about a place I know so well.
I would definitely recommend this book and cannot wait to see what happens in Berlin.
In this book, Parker was hired to help author Geneva. James lost his muse of writing as time passed with the great impasse with his book. and we also have the participation of Sky going to London with Parker meet the servant of one of the favorite trilogies.
hen they arrive in London the author is dazzled to know that Sky is in front of him, since she was the inspiration for the main girl of his book. In passing the book Parker goes to show Geneva the beauty of the world and showing exactly what it needs to rewrite.
This month, Bo makes a special appearance to help the new client and the result is incredible! Parker and Skyler finally returned to being a couple and reconnecting after separate weeks. Emotions are high and true feelings appear with their expectations for the future. Parker comes to an agreement that his past can not dictate his future and that he needs to trust his heart, and that his past relationship is not the same as his future.
InternationalGuy London is the next installment in this series. I have really loved the relatinship between Skylar and Parker. SkyPark has really grown on me and I am rooting for a happy ending for them. This installment picks up with Skylar and Parker reuniting after the drama in the last book. Can Parker trust Skylar again? Parker is called to London to help struggling writer Geneva James get he mojo back to finish her third book in her series. Parker decides to bring Skylar, and she fangirls for the author. This was a fun part of the series bringing these characters into the romance novel genre. Geneva fangirls over Skylar right back, and wants her to star in the movie adaptatin of her books. There is alot of chemistry going on throughout this part. Lots of Rachel and Nate Van Dyken cameos in this part too. This adds a lot of fun for fans of them. And there is a Sophie sighting from Paris here as well. Stay tuned as we are off to Berlin next......
Vedremo come andrà.
Citazione preferita: " "[...] "
London is book seven in the International Guy series.
These books must be read in order, as they are part of a continuing story.
In this installment, Parker and Skyler jet off to London to help an author find her muse again. There were definitely parts of this book that I loved, like Parker and Skyler starting to work through their issues and grow as a couple. However, there were also parts that I felt were a little over the top, including Parker and Skyler’s make out session during the photo shoot. Definitely unprofessional on both their parts!
Sophie makes an appearance in this book, much to Skyler‘s dismay. Although by the end of the book Skyler’s insecurities regarding Sophie seem to begin to be put to rest.
Book eight takes us to Berlin, and I am interested to see how International Guy fixes this client!
“You put yourself in danger and our relationship at risk.”
Something about this series feels like coming home. Each book wraps around me a little snugger and tugs at my heart. I love the words of wisdom, friendship, challenges, humor, steamy scenes and the passion of the International Guys with their women, friendships and assignments.
“Life is full of risks. When you have something worthy, the risk suddenly seems small.”
This book briefly ties up a cliffhanger and gets the wheels going on another mystery. Little bits are thrown in and have you wondering when the other shoe is going to drop...although I have no idea why you wouldn’t read the whole series...this book may be read as a stand-alone.
Berlin~International Guy Book 8 is downloaded and ready for me to dive in and get lost in Audrey’s words!
So after the roller coaster that was book 6- we find our team huddling over dear Wendy as she recovers from events on the last job. Now Wendy’s fiancée Michael wants her to quit working and the guys can’t wait for her to come back. But first she must heal- and the traumas are extreme! But- off to London where Parker and the guys are set to help an author who lost her muse! Lo and behold- Skyler is a fan and the author loves Skyler! Looks like it’s “Take Your Girlfriend to Work” week for Parker and the trip gets better and better!! But it’s not all sunshine and roses as both Parker and Skyler begin to get mysterious texts and mail… something’s going to happen soon… I just know it!!!
‘Live your truth!’ Parker and Skyler head to London to help an author with her writers block! Could you even imagine being able to do that?? This part of the story was so enjoyable to read! The banter, I laughed alot!! The sizzling chemistry between Parker and Skyler is just so wonderful and you can’t help but feel their energy! The truly magical words They both say to the author just wonderful and speak to how really good they are at being positive to their clients! The characters resonate on a whole other level, the author has written a story that will cause you to smile through all the positive moments! So wonderful!
I was itching for this installment. Montreal left me broken, sad, and uneasy. I needed answers. Audrey answers all of that in London. This series only gets better and better.
Skyler and Parker go to London together. YESSS we get both at the same time and place. They help an author get her muse back. Skyler gets to meet her author and the author gets to meet her favorite Skyler.
This book has many lessons to be learned. The author was crushed by what her former publisher told her. She needed a push by Skyler and Parker so she could realize that she is awesome.
I won’t into details because it’s a must read and I’m head over heels for International Guy.
