Reese and Julia have never liked each other. From the moment they met, they clashed. She thinks he’s a man-whore, and he believes she’s an entitled bitch with her head always stuck in a book. One night, one argument, too many drinks, and those views change. Instead of being annoyed by her, Reese just wants to fuck her—and one time is never enough.
After just passing high school, and failing college, Julia is trying to pass classes at night courses, but she’s failing that, too. Coming from a family of high achievers, she hasn’t found her place in the world. But one night with Reese and her ordered world comes to a halt.
Their “sex dates” turn into something more as they share themselves and what they care about, and Reese comes to realize that Julia is the woman of his dreams. He’s willing to fight to take her as his own, but can she trust him with her heart and not just her body?
Sam Crescent is passionate about fiction. She loves a good erotic romance and so it only made sense for her to spread her wings and start writing. She began writing in 2009 and finally got that first acceptance in 2011 by Total-E-Bound. She loved creating new characters and delving into the worlds that she creates. When she’s not panicking about a story or arguing with a character, she can be found in her kitchen creating all kinds of havoc. Like her stories the creations in the kitchen can be just as dubious but sometimes things turn out great.
"Woman of His Dreams" is the story Julia and Reese. The love-hate relationship between our bartender hero and waitress heroine culminates into heavy f*cking, witty banter and grade A anal in this one. There is heavy lust, dog adoption and some drama all lead to a HEA. Liked this one! Safe..ish 4/5
I enjoy reading Curvy Women Wanted, so I feel bad and sad to say, that this one is the least I liked. The story was just... I don't know how to put it, but I just didn't connected with it or characters. I was indifferent to it all.
Love the passion that brought sunlight by their initial dislike and hate for each other....in fact it's what draw them together making each lovemaking more fun and exciting. Thumbs up to you Sam!
Julia and Reese have know eachother for awhile and they hate eachother from what it says she thinks he's a manwhore and he thinks shes thinks shes to good for them. But that hate turns into some wicked love/hate sex between the two.. is where the book starts dirty nasty.. but deep down both know it's not really hate they start learning about each other and know what they thought was wrong..
Plus he rescued a dog for her, come on that's so cute!!! I wish it was longer.. it was kinda short.. and I wish that we got their first meeting.. not months later..
Instalove/lust Charming asshole cocky sweetheart alpha male Sassy stubborn sweet curvy gal Hate/love Mentions of OW (but doesn't show) No cheating Anal play/sex Sex Hea Epilogue
Woman of His Dreams by author Sam Crescent is the 11th book in the Curvy Women Wanted series. The series does not have to be read in order. This is my first time reading it and I loved this story so much. Not only does it have a plus-sized heroine it is a super sweet storyline that I loved. Reese and Julia are opposites. He is a lady’s man, she is the one with her nose stuck in a book. But they cannot seem to get enough of sex with each other. But what happens when Reese finally starts to feel more, and Julia decides it might be time to move on? Julia doesn’t think Reese wants her for anything but sex. But she cannot seem to stop herself with him. For his part, she brings out the possessive man he never knew he had inside. I liked watching these two falls in lust and love. They might not be the most likely of couples, but they sure do have the chemistry for it.
This is a quick but steamy read, and I cannot wait for more from this series. I loved this one and want more.
This story is short, fast paced and steamy. I read this book in one sitting and wasn’t once bored. I liked that Reese and Julia seemed to hate each other at first. The attraction between them is clear to see. The chemistry between them was also clear to see. I liked them together and thought they were perfect for one another. I liked that Reese realised that he had judged Julia wrong. I liked that both Reese and Julia wanted more. They wanted more than a sexual relationship but were afraid to say it to one another. The storyline for this book is easy to follow and a nice read.
They start of bad but end up good. Sounds about right to me. Lol. The lead couple may have misinterpreted each other but they are very likable characters.
I have stated this before, I have been charmed by this series. I have since bought 69 (no lie) more books by this author. I plan on reading every single one eventually. I did skip over all the MC series by this author as they are not really my thing.
But I enjoyed this book, this series, and I hope you enjoy them as well.
Reese and Julia seemed to be total unlikely couple. They fight all the time. Of course they burn up the sheets but are they even a true couple. Surprisingly they are. Reese totally misread Julia. She is a nose to the book girl but he never really got to know her till one final blowout. Julia has a heart of gold and just can’t believe that Reese would ever want forever with her. These two, once they finally really talked, found out they are soul mates. Stupid fights over what was right in front of you and in the heart was all that was needed. Ok, and a cute little dog.
Overall this was a nice read. Who knew misunderstanding between Julia & Reese about who they really were as individuals could lead to everlasting love. Recommend
I love this series it's one of my most favourite as I always find the characters relatable. This book it took me longer to get in to as there wasn't a build up to the relationship it was instant but I loved how the learnt so much about one another.
Let me just say this, I have been reading Sam Crescent stories for a while now and this one, it let me down. These two characters claim to hate each other, but you see no real evidence of it in the story. The only thing that is solidified is that they like to have sex and fight. Okay that is all good and everything but how do they go from hating each other to getting a dog and living together. Both characters seemed very rush written and that gave the story a bitter taste rather than making it sweet. In all honesty this story did not cut it for me.
°Non virgin MCs °Switching POVs °Hero with others after meeting the heroine °Both faithful after having sex °Hero is in his mid-30s, heroine is in her mid-20s °No insta love °Enemies to lovers °Likeable heroine °Sweet cocky alpha hero °Free of OW/OM drama °No separation °No cheating °Intimate scenes only between hero and heroine °Epilogue: 5 years later
Thank You Miss Sam Crescent for another sweet "Curvy Women Wanted" story, just what I needed. Loved it short and sweet, until next time Miss Sam Crescent😊I'm giving this book 5 stars, you deserve it.
This authors books seem to be getting shorter and shorter. There’s no depth or feeling anymore to the authors books. There are lots of books available for free that are much better than this authors latest work.
Oh my gosh !! This gets you right in the feels !! This is a sexy sweet love hate romance that is just so perfect !! A great addition to the Curvy Women Wanted Series !! Absolutely love this 💛
