Everything about him spells trouble. Unfortunately, everything about him spells temptation, too…
I’ve always been an accepting person, but every time I look at Nick, I just don’t get why women are all over him.
Okay, maybe I get it a little bit. He is more than fine on the outside. He’s got money, stone-cold-looks, and body that gets me caught staring at all the wrong times.
It’s just too bad he’s got to open his mouth sometimes too.
I wish my best friend would get that through her head. I don’t care if she thinks Nick’s best friend is the one. I don’t care that she has some fantasy about us all getting married and having kids together.
It’s not going to happen.
I’m pretty set on the idea that Nick is the last person I would ever sleep with. Plus, I’ve seen the type he sleeps with. He’s not into the curvy type.
I guess though… If there was a chance, and if he promised to only use his mouth for things other than talking. I could make an exception just once.

The h was weirdly judgmental of the H from the very beginning, for no real reason. If she had acted simply like a decent human being it all would have been good. I did like the H though, he was rude in response to her rudeness. I liked that once he realized he liked her he didn’t hold back.
I ended up not connecting with the characters as much as I have with the authors other stories. It’s on me, not the author. Sometimes you just don’t connect.
Olivia always found Nick obnoxious and condescending. She just became junior partner and wanted to tell her friend Caroline but when she got to her apartment Nick was there to see his friend Abel. They argued at the door who's apartment it was, as Nick just wanted to walk in without knocking. She found him insufferable. He walked in and caught their friend starting to have sex on the couch. She was so embarrassed and mad at Nick for barging in. Caroline and Abel announced they were moving in together and they were engaged. So they were going to be the best man and maid of honor. They wanted them to help with the wedding arrangements. She didn't know if she could put up with him. But time went on she saw another side of him. He was always with skinny model type women and did know that he loved her curves. Their hatred starting to change to an attraction for both. Great story of past hurts and misunderstanding can break your heart. Finding the right person can break those walls down.
I read this book as part of an arc program. This was a short and sweet story about enemies who turned to lovers. Nick and Olivia really didn't get along, Olivia thought Nick was a shallow playboy and Nick thought Olivia was uptight and mean. When Olivia's best friend started dated Nick's best friend, they were bound to be around each other. Nick started to notice Olivia was not as uptight as he thought and he started noticing how beautiful she was. Olivia always thought Nick was hot, she just didn't like his playboy ways. After a night of drinking with their friends, Nick offers to take Olivia home. On the way, she continues to tell him how much she dislikes him. Nick tries to pretend it doesn't bother him she hated him, but he can only pretend so long. Olivia also begins to notice Nick might not be as bad as she thought. I liked this book, I liked the banter between Nick and Olivia and thought they were good together. Good one.
I received an ARC from Ms. Aurora, and I am writing my honest review. Olivia and Nick are physically attracted to each other, but they both can not stand each other. When their best friends get married, Olivia and Nick are stuck spending every day with each other in order to plan the wedding. As they get to know each other, their mutual attraction only gets stronger. Will they give each other a chance at a happily ever after or will they go back to barely tolerating each other?
This is short story that is well written. I loved all of the characters and the story line kept my attention. The chemistry between all of the main characters is steamy. This is a great story to get your pulse going and begging for more. Thank you Ms. Aurora for allowing me to read your book. I look forward to reading more.
A well written short story with nice storyline and plot. The characters are well described and they develop nicely. The chemistry is amazing and flows nicely. In spite of it is a rather short story there is a lot going on in it. Olivia and Nick are a cute couple but they have a lot of trouble coming towards them before they can have their HEA. A story about accepting the one that makes your life whole. About trusting and taking what you want. A sweet, passionate, emotionfilled story with twists that makes you read on.
Nick, Is this Olivia… ? Oh, my! A little wine and some people’s personalities just… change. Flirtatious, funny, wild… Sweetly sleepy and… lonely?
Whoa boy! Keep your wits about you! After all she just told you what she really thinks of you. You should be insulted. You are insulted. But maybe, just maybe she has a point… or two… And there’s a lot of other things she has, too.
Wow! What a tangle of miscommunication and preconceived notions… Watching them unravel was great fun! Bottom line: Short, sweet, hot and very good! 4 stars.
I received a free copy of this book via Bookfunnel and am voluntarily leaving a review. I really liked this story of enemies to frenemies to lovers. Olivia never had a high opinion of Nick and he did deserve some of it. However as Olivia became more and more frank with him he started to see how he hurt her and others. Their best friends were engaged to each other and were getting married they had to spend more time together. This gave them the chance to get to know each other. An interesting story. I wished it was longer or had an epilogue. A good read.
A wonderful story, a page turner keeping enthralled from the start to finish. A shorter story but it had everything you need kept you intrigue and wondered how and if Olivia and Nick could just stop long enough to notice how much they were alike and a great chemistry they have. They have such passionate love for their best friends and their work. I recieved this arc and am thankful for finding a great author with new outlook and stories to throw my self into.
WOW OH WOW!!! AMAZING READ!!! A smooth flowing, easy to follow, fast paced read that captured my attention from the start. With amazing characters that are down to earth and true to life. The scenes are realistic and believable. Lexi always shows just how talented she is. With an eye and mind for detail the descriptions are incredible. Lexi did a magnificent job with this read. Great job Lexi.
I LOVED IT! Those two strong characters Olivia and Nick are perfect for each other. The laws of attraction brought them together. They were both searching for the same thing; « true love » and the only way you find that is when you look into someone’s soul with authenticity. This story is very well written and this author is awesome... I’m definitely reading more of her work 😁😉.
This was a good read. Nick and Olivia go from hating to hot and heavy. Will it last? I enjoyed the sass back and forth between them. Preconceived notions turn out to be wrong. Will they find their HEA? read the book and find out it is worth it. I enjoyed the sweet story. I received it as an arc and voluntarily reviewed it
This was a great read. Nick and Olivia were not friends, but their friends started dating so that meant they would be spending a lot of time together. He thought she was uptight and she thought he was a player. As they spent more and more time together they realized that things were not as they seemed.
You will really enjoy this book. I know I did and it kept me up reading half of the night.
I liked this story and I liked the characters, though I thought Olivia was quite hard on Nick at times, and I felt as though there could've been more at the end.
I received a copy and I am voluntarily leaving my own honest opinion
This is an entertaining read. The storyline is well-crafted, interesting and will keep your interest. The characters are likable and relatable though they can be a bit judgmental. I liked it. I voluntarily read an ARC and this is my honest review.
Awesome book. Extremely entertaining, captivating and interesting sexy read. I could not put it down. Wonderfully written with strong, intriguing characters. I want to read more from this author. I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
Olivia and Nick straddle the line between revulsion and attraction. Luckily for the readers of Lexi Aurora's book, what happens next is very entertaining. The book is a quick read with a plot that flows effortlessly. An enjoyable tale of opposites attract.
She could have been a bit less judgy and a lot nicer, but being 'curvy' and him a 'playboy', I can see why she is that way. Just trying to protect herself from being hurt. He does finally see through it but then has to get her there also. Which obviously he does since we get the HEA! ;)
I was hooked from the beginning. This story engages you from the start. It is well written. The story line was great. I loved it. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
First off I want to start by saying I don't want any future readers to be discouraged by my review. This is based solely on my reading preferences and aren't in coloration to the author at all.
I wasn't able to finish this book mostly because I found it very difficult to stay focused on the story being told. I've read previous books by this author and haven't found that to be an issue. I just couldn't follow this book enough to fixated on the characters' viewpoints within the first few chapters to continue on further. Again this isn't a negative for this book, as it may be enjoyable for someone else.
This is a fun and lively story. Olivia and Nick are forced to interact because their respective best friends are in a relationship. There are a few humorous moments and plenty of tension, initially, between the two. Overall, it’s a pleasant and nice read.
I received an advance copy of this book and am I voluntarily leaving a review.
