If I could give this book more then 5 stars I would. Ravana Moon is the epitome of a strong, no holds barred, kick ass heroine and I love it!!! S.L. Perrine goes so much further than this as she tells a tale of vampires, hunters, and betrayal. You fall in love with Ravana and Massimo and relate to their struggles and fears. This book hooks you from the very first chapter thru vivid descriptions that form a work of art.

this book was just wow. I loved the characters and the steamy parts just added to the story. I look forward to the next book in the series.

Once again this author brings it ! Ravana Moon was born and raised to be a hunter. Turned Vampire by a man called the Ancient One, Ravana is different from others of her kind and spends decades searching for her sire and answers. Massimo her friend/enemy who keeps Ravanas sexual desires on overdrive, was also turned by The Ancient One and is in no hurry for Ravana to learn the truth of her past.
This story draws you in from the first chapter and keeps you until the final page. I can honestly say that I am never disappointed when this author puts out a book. They always seem to become one of my new favorite series. Anticipating the next adventure for Ravana and Massimo in book two.

So different...
Than what I had anticipated yet, so much more.
When I first started reading it, I wasn’t sure what to expect so I pushed on. A choice I’m very happy I made as this book does not disappoint nor does it slow down once it kicks into high gear.

My five-star review of “The Darker Side of Me” (A Ravana Moon Novel Book one)
Ravana Moon felt real, gritty, strong, feminine and in control of her life. I felt inspired by her strength, sexuality and strong personality. I had no problem envisioning a redheaded vampire that had an insatiable need to find who gave her immortality. This main character made me feel the passion for blood, insatiable will power to cause harm to those deemed worthy of justice and a need to not be alone in a dark, seedy, grimy era of an age past. I could feel the intense emotions portrayed. I felt wonder at the violence, the clothing, the time period that was dark yet vibrant with an aura of supernatural. I imagined the vibrancy of the action, the feeling of the emotions portrayed and the desire of the main character not to be alone. Nobody wants to be alone. Perhaps we don’t want to be bothered but not be alone. Ravana is a lonely soul brimming with love, passion, violence and indescribable need to have a purpose. The reader who likes vampires, sexy strong characters, awesome clothing and lots of action intermixed with great sex at perfectly written times will love this story. A story of splendor for me.

This has to be one of my most favorite books. I absolutely FLOVE Ravana. She is a take no prisoners, kick a$$ alpha female. You will absolutely love this book. It was so hard to put down, I'm pretty sure I read it in one sitting.
