Great work

A beautiful journey of a Shiva Devotee, where she experiences Shiva in multiple forms. It inspires us to take that path.Om Namah Shivaya.

A lovely and inspiring true story of a little girl who found God! Her innocent expressions in the book filled my heart with divine love for her as well as Shiva and all humanity for we are all One! Ultimately, it all comes down to one thing - LOVE! Shikha has paved the way for all humanity - showing us the path of devotion and knowledge; she has set an example for all of us! I believe that not just Shiva devotees but everyone should read this book despite his/her religion.

I just finished reading this book and I am glad I read it till the end! This book proves that Self-Realization can be reached through Bhakti Yoga and Jnana Yoga! Of course, Krishna said it in the Bhagavad Gita, but it's great to read a story of a modern saint, a living example! It is especially encouraging for those who cannot meditate for long hours. Ultimately, as the author said, it is through the Grace of God and Guru, that the Self can be realized. But we have to prepare ourselves first. And through her life story, Shikha has showed us just how to do that! It's a lovely book and I would re-read it again and again.

I downloaded this book on my Kindle. It is an interesting and an exceptional book! It comes straight from the author's heart where Shiva dwells! The book is about union of a devotee with her beloved Lord Shiva. Such devotees and saints still exist in India! I am grateful to the author for writing this book and sharing her life story for the sake of other devotees.

Shikha takes us on a beautiful spiritual journey that leads us from this mundane world to the purely spiritual one. I have read a few other Hindu books. But this book is not just theory, its devotion in action!

I am so glad I picked this book. I found the title intriguing and the author so young for such a spiritual awakening. The book is mystic, and it opens door for a spiritual beginner. It talks about God and the path that leads to him in such a simple and easy language to understand and makes it sound so easy to reach God. I am sure it is easier said than done though. The author through her experiences also unravels the mystery that Self-realization cannot just be achieved by saints who seem to have a special gift but also by an ordinary person like you and me. Its inspiring journey of the author that can encourage even the sceptics to try and find God. I loved reading the book. The only thing is I had to keep my phone with Wikipedia on so I could search for practices, references and saints the author has mentioned in her book. Overall, a great book for the soul.

Shikha Narula’s 'Autobiography of a Shiva Devotee' is a bold and heartfelt account of her spiritual journey - unfiltered, sincere, and deeply personal. While many revered gurus caution against sharing spiritual experiences publicly, Narula takes the road less travelled, offering a glimpse into her inner world with humility and devotion.

This book isn’t about doctrine or philosophy, it’s about lived experience, and it reads like a direct conversation with the Divine. For seekers walking their own path, it may resonate as a mirror; for others, it offers insight into the intensity and grace of true bhakti. A rare, courageous work.

Shikha Narula's Autobiography of a Shiva Devotee: How I Found God is a captivating memoir chronicling a young woman's journey towards devotion in Hinduism. The book follows Shikha's life, starting from her childhood curiosity about Lord Shiva, ignited by a mythological movie, to her blossoming faith and spiritual practices.

An exceptional, modern, and honest story of a Shiva Saint. One has to be spiritually mature to be able to relate to the experiences shared in this book. It's simple, yet profound.
